15/07/2025: Visited the place for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The entire experience was great.
The food quality was top notch and the service was also good.

07/07/2025: We’ve been here a few times now and like the layout of the restaurant - it is large, inviting and non trend. The food is usually good also and certainly better than the unnecessarily hyped up Pickle Restaurant.
Service can be hit and miss depending on how busy it is and one one occasion we were left waiting for an hour after our main course, however the other three times we were there - all ran smoothly. Defo recommend it.
21/06/2025: Waiter that served us was horrible, short fella with beard. I asked the woman at the desk could we kindly move to the sofa she said yes so i moved, this waiter comes over DID YOU ASK TO MOVE really agressive, apologised for his rudeness later on yet left with 20 euro after i asked for the change back and i had to go to the desk to receive it.

22/06/2025: It has been a while since we’ve eaten in Katmandu in Dalkey and after eating there recently I have to say it was absolutely lovely,the jhinga prawns,onion bhaji and masala including all the sides were delicious.
The staff are so friendly and efficient.
We can’t wait to return soon.
17/03/2025: First time to eat here and I have to say the food was absolutely delicious. We shared Kathmandu veg & a sizzling meat platter (my fav was sizzling prawn) to start. My friends had the Kathmandu special mixed Sizzler, delish, highly recommend👌. Others had the Himalayan chicken curry, which looks green but is really tasty.😋 I had the prawn tikka masala and we shared pilau Rice, a peshwari naan & garlic and coriander naan. The wine was decent and all for €50 per person! Very good value for how delish the food was!

The lamb is so tender and curry so infused with flavours. Even the lemon rice had soft chickpeas in (which I'm going to copy at home!) Thank you boys. Stunning👌

21/06/2025: I went with my friend recently to this nice place. Service experience was outstanding. We had chicken biriyani, that was enough for 2 people in quantity. Lastly, the desert (hot Gulab Jamun), was really amazing . A must visit place for the desi food lovers!

26/05/2025: Awesome taste and great service. I have been visiting this place for many years and they have maintained the good taste and high quality of their food. The seating area is small so most of the people have take-away orders but when I tried the food, the seating did not matter to me. I ordered palak paneer and naan during my last visit.
24/05/2025: Used to order from here alot,was left waiting on the phone for 9 minutes and then hung up on,asked for a manager and was told there is none he's away,won't be ordering from here again,the owner needs better staff

02/06/2025: It's been a while since we ordered Indian take away. Went for the 'meal for two' deal.
Unfortunately it was very disappointing.
Order was over an hour to arrive, dishes were cold and the starters and breads were wet after sitting in foil packaging for however long. Rice was cold also. Had to ping everything in the microwave.

20/05/2025: Unpleasant experience. The open buffet system for €13.50 per person for 40 minutes sounds attractive at first glance, but the reality was different. The staff seemed unfriendly and watched guests critically while they ate. Despite the open buffet system, the amount of food was rather small, especially the meat dishes, which consisted mainly of bones and fat. The atmosphere was unpleasant, and the value for money was not right. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant.

24/03/2025: Got takeout , waited an hour and 15 mins. Got butter chicken , and chicken madras. They were both very bland and the chicken was dry. The naan bread was not fresh. Really disappointing
06/03/2025: Don't bother ordering delivery from this place. They have got worse and worse with delivery times. 2nd time we've been forced to wait over 1.5hrs for food. Ordered on 6/3/25 and still waiting hopefully it will be here by the 7th

28/06/2025: We ate one Saturday evening. The place was busy enough, but we got a table for 2 with no reservation. Place looks nice and has a good atmosphere, a mixture of couples and groups dining, not too noisy.
Staff were nice, the service was good.
The food was good. Starters were delicious, and Aloo special chat and prawns were delicious. The main courses were good, Palak was tasty.
Non alcoholic drinks, they have mock tails and Edringer alcohol free, which was quite pricey for a 330ml bottle of zero beer.
Overall, the meal was good but was quite pricey at 120e for 2 with 3 drinks.
18/06/2025: Ate here last night and the food was stellar. Never waiting too long for each course, lovely staff also! Will definitely be returning

23/06/2025: Absolute health hazard sign. Chicken Tikka Shashlik was hard on outside (definitely frozen meat that was thawed) and was raw inside. Absolutely no flavour(same with the Tikka Masala). Ridiculous amount of artificial food colouring ( you could just tell it was artificial and not Kashmiri Chilli powder) on both the dishes so much so that the red stain/colour is stuck on my fingers. The sauce of the Tikka masala was just some fake red sweet sauce tossed with cubes of raw chicken with no seasoning. You guys charge the same amount as any Indian place and you can't prepare a decent food for the price you charge. Have some basic ethics goddammit!! Was disheartened to throw the food in the bin. Waste of resources and waste of money!! Shame on you guys!!
31/05/2025: The delivery took more than 2 hours.
Their website was showing the delivery at 16:15 but the restaurant do not start before 5pm.

06/07/2025: Hoy visitamos Diwali para cenar en la calle George. La comida estaba buena pero un poco cara para lo que obtienes. Hay que pagar cinco euros extra si pides un arroz diferente, como pilaf, que no viene con el plato principal. También me dieron una Coca-Cola grande que obviamente era de una botella de plástico de dos litros por la que también me cobraron cinco euros, estaba sin gas y sin sabor... el personal parecía bastante amable, pero no tenían prisa en volver...
