Spice Cottage

Dublin
04/03/2025: Not my first visit...collected food and when I arrived home 5 minutes later the food was COLD. No reason for this. The mixed starter plater was terrible, everything from frozen pre made, no flavour and cold. The mains were really small each contained 4 small pieces of chicken per serving but the most disappointing was the flavour, non existent. The naan bread was wet and soggy.....It seems here in Ireland now we accept any old over priced rubbish as standard. Please don't ever feel it is not right to complain when its terrible service or food. You are spending your money and expect something better then this in return......
12/01/2025: I’ve been getting take out for years now and they never fail to impress me. There is plenty of choice on the menu and it’s all so tasty. The portions are large so I will get a second meal from tonight’s order.

Kathmandu Nepalese Restaurant

Dublin
17/03/2025: First time to eat here and I have to say the food was absolutely delicious. We shared Kathmandu veg & a sizzling meat platter (my fav was sizzling prawn) to start. My friends had the Kathmandu special mixed Sizzler, delish, highly recommend👌. Others had the Himalayan chicken curry, which looks green but is really tasty.😋 I had the prawn tikka masala and we shared pilau Rice, a peshwari naan & garlic and coriander naan. The wine was decent and all for €50 per person! Very good value for how delish the food was!
16/03/2025: Service was so fine Love the food See you again

Kerala Kitchen

Dublin
02/05/2025: We dined in Kerala Kitchen years ago on a trip to Dublin and we've been talking about it ever since. Happily in May 2025 we returned to Dublin and were so pleased that our dinner in Kerala Kitchen was as good, if not better, than we remembered. 2 starters (gunpowder aloo chaat, chicken 65) were delicious. The chaat especially was so tasty....a mixture of fried potatoes, chickpeas, pomegranate in a aromatic dressing. The chicken 65 was spicier but very tasty. Our mains were some of the best authentic Indian cuisine we've had in Europe and definitely the best in Ireland. The special of Murgh Palak was devine. Although the colour was vibrant to an extreme, it was perfectly balanced with spice, sweet (not bitter despite a lot of spinach and spice). My partner had the chicken Andhra which was a delicate burst of flavours and it would please any palate. One basmati rice was too much for us and we also has 2 garlic naan. A lot of food! Our one regret was we couldn't finish it 🥲 Our server and reception staff were extremely friendly. A triumph of a dining experience. We can't wait to come back
13/04/2025: Totally disappointed. No relation between the restaurant name and the food. Finally expected a good Kerala tea or coffee. Drank a hot water and paid 2.95 Euros each. Please don’t cheat 😥

Delhi Rasoi

Dublin
26/04/2025: Very good value veg set meal (veg dish, 4x onion bahjis, large bag of poppadums and rice and two dips) for the same price of a curry (that mightn’t even include rice) in other restaurants.

28/02/2025: Absolutely Indian dishes from them rock the delicious and melt-in-your-mouth shrimp in the Jalfrezi dish. I fully recommend, regards LW

Shanai

Dublin
30/04/2025: Ordered from here tonight. Chicken Pakoras were about the worst I've ever seen. They were deep fried frozen chicken goujons. No spices whatsoever. Actually criminally bad. Avoid this place at all coats. The main i ordered was basically a terrible takeaway masala. Not at all what i ordered. Dreadful dreadful food. Not even remotely indian

Spicy Bite

Dublin
24/04/2025: Amazing food!! The service was also really good!!
15/04/2025: It was an amazing experience. There are several options of veg and non-veg food with freshly prepared Bread/ roti. This is a must visit place for an economical and unlimited buffet experience. It's a wonderful combo of Pakistani and Indian food. Although it has limited sitting space, the taste was really good. No doubt I'll visit again.

Delhi Darbar

Dublin
06/04/2025: We ordered a takeaway dinner for two and overall, the food was quite enjoyable. The lamb kadai was flavorful, but the lamb royal was a bit bland. The chicken tikka lacked seasoning as well. Portion sizes felt a bit small for the price. Chips and naan were just okay, nothing special. I’d rate the experience 3.5 out of 5.
24/03/2025: We all enjoyed our food. We were a walk-in during the weekend and there were tables available. We were all stuffed too, so next time perhaps we don't need rice & naan. One minor complaint was the fact that we were sitting underneath the air conditioning vent which was blowing hot air directly onto me, so I was pretty uncomfortable for the meal.

Spice Cove

Dublin
21/04/2025: Idk what the other people commenting on here are smoking, but this food was awful. Watered down soupy chicken tikka masala, dry pakoras, tasteless keema naan - the food here was objectively horrendous. Sure, the prices are good, but that’s because they cut corners and skimped on actual flavor. They just overload the dishes with spiciness to cover up the taste of their food. We have way better Indian takeaway in the area, I’d personally stay away from this place.
19/04/2025: We ordered the tasting meal for 2 take-away. We were on holidays in Dublin and just chanced it. We were delighted with the food as it was full of flavour, fresh and tasty and a good amount of it. We had the chicken Tikka Old Delhi Style and Seekh Kebab for starter and the lamb Korma and Punjabi style chicken Chana for Main. All very tasty, the dips and the naan were delicious too . Would definitely recommend and if I would live in Dublin, it would be definitely one to order from!
