04/01/2026: This is a great place to stop on your way to or coming back from the westerly extremes of west cork. Great food and coffee that tastes like coffee. Mince pies to die for. Keep it going!!!

30/10/2025: A fabulous dining experience at restaurant Chestnut. We had the four course set taster menu with wine pairing.
From the warm greeting and service from Elaine and team to the DELICIOUS food prepared by Rob and the kitchen team the experience was incredible. The food was thought provoking and very tasty, Thank you 🙏
30/10/2025: Had the most amazing experience at The Chestnut Restaurant. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of all their produce and dishes. We couldn't fault anything we ate and the wine pairing was fabulous too. Yes! It's not cheap but you know why when you taste the delights they offer.
