01/09/2024: We have dined here a couple of times in the past and were very happy with the food. A super location and well fitted out. The americano and cappuccino we had today in large cups had too much water and practically tasted the same. Maybe there was a change of ownership or management, as the upstairs section is now a shop. So disappointed.
25/07/2024: I went to River House for tea/coffee and a pastry! I have to say it was daylight robbery!
They charge €7 for one bun! An eclair for €7!!!! A coffee is not included in the price! Also a muffin cost €4.50!! They pastry and muffin were not even nice!!!
My mum and I now swear never to go there again!

15/10/2024: Good service but food is just not good , very poor quality of ingredients and badly cooked
10/10/2024: Went with my family for dinner and got the curry chicken. It was like eating plain rice in hot water with some bland chicken chunks. We added some salt and it couldn’t be saved. Two other people in our party got the same dish and agreed. They also forgot to put my husbands order in so by the time he got his food we had all finished eating.

28/07/2024: I’m vegetarian and I asked for a vegetarian pasta it took 2 hours to come and they gave me it with chicken in so I sent it back and the replacement took 30 minutes so by this point it was almost midnight and I had not eaten I was so relieved to finally have food. Desert was ok but not brilliant

26/10/2024: Fabulous venue - nice food - small portions - expensive for what you get - lovely staff but not enough staff for such a busy restaurant.
06/10/2024: For the price the food is very average, the tuna starter for €16 was a few tiny shavings of fish and not that tasty, very disappointing. Main course average.

Fish are fresh from the sea and staff very helpfull.
Nice setting and easy to locate
27/07/2024: If you’re a fan of top quality fish and chips, this is your go to place in Dublin. The batter on the fish was crisp and golden. The chips are firm and tasty. They rival my previous bests- the Harbour Fish Bar in East Grinstead, and a place who’s name I forget in Dingle. Enjoy!
