19/11/2024: BANG is Amazing! I would like to extend a huge thanks for BANG team making everything perfect for our wedding last night. The decorations were set up amazingly, and the food was absolutely delicious. A big shoutout to Drazen for being our waiter all night. He was incredibly responsive and polite. Thank you, dear Bang Team—you guys rock!

16/11/2024: Very nice restaurant, amazing food and very nice service from Valber. We had the tasting menu and enjoyed every single dish. They even made a small extra plate for our anniversary which was really thoughtful

07/11/2024: I am so impressed with the restaurant. First of all, absolutely every dish is amazing. I've been here a couple of times, and it's always the best, rich flavour, super fresh ingredients, stunning presentation. The service is very good and the atmosphere is friendly and casual, which is a great combination with fine food. Definitely worth the money. Will return and recommend. P.S. The warm Guinness bread is amazing.

15/11/2024: Ce pub typique communique avec l'hôtel Harding voisin et ceci constitue une certaine facilité pour ceux qui y logent. Pub classique autour d'un bar sympa avec une clientèle d'habitués qui assurent ainsi l'ambiance agrémentée chaque soir par un groupe musical. Pas besoin d'aller beaucoup plus loin pour ressentir l'âme des Dublinois. Nous y avons passé de bons moments même s'il n'est pas le seul du quartier.

01/12/2024: I’m pleasantly surprised! It was my first time at La Maison, and I was by myself, craving a French onion soup—it was the only thing I wanted. They didn’t pressure me to order a full meal since I just wanted a snack, which I really appreciated. That day, this was the fourth place I tried before they finally gave me a table. It was a quiet Sunday, but I couldn’t help noticing how some hosts seem to be becoming more judgmental these days if you’re not planning to spend a lot and just want a quick, nice meal. So, a big shoutout to them for being accommodating! The food was great: the salad was fresh, and the onion soup was delicious, though it was a bit on the acidic side for my taste (but that’s just a personal preference). I’ll definitely return and look forward to trying other items on the menu.

15/11/2024: Went for lunch. Nice and cosy place. Arrived with a baby in pram, not much space for the pram unfort. We werent offered a high chair for the baby. Food was good, especially the sorbet and the sauce that came with the steak. Had an accident where we spilled a drink while moving pram, trying to make space for the next table. Staff didnt make a big fuss about it and helped clean up immediately. Would recommend for a date night.

30/11/2024: Food was ok, the bacon used for the salted crepes was smoked. I didn't like it for that reason, and I would have ordered a different dish if this was mentioned on the menu. There were tables available but people standing in the queue for more than 40 minutes. Waitress were busy, so they might need more staff at the door to organise and coordinate. I went on a Saturday morning.

11/11/2024: The service is friendly and attentive without being pushy; The food is quite tasty (order the meat a little less than usual) and the desserts are exactly the right size so as not to overfill the dinner. The only “negative” point is that the atmosphere inside the restaurant is like a hotel (light, carpet, etc.) Quite recommended.

04/11/2024: Delicious steak. Very friendly staff. Nice view of the inner courtyard of the merrion. Very relaxing for an early dinner when in town.

22/10/2024: Traditional family-owned pub with a long history, tucked away by Glasnevin Cemetery. Top-notch Guinness and a great atmosphere.

17/10/2024: The Gravediggers aka Kavanagh’s is an excellent pub worth checking out for its really great Guinness and old world charm. I can’t fault it except to say this - its claim to serve the best Guinness in Dublin - and therefore the world - is not accurate. No pub in Dublin or anywhere else can make such a claim because this is a subjective judgement that can and will change. Nonetheless it’s a pub worth visiting all the more so because of its obvious proximity to Glasnevin cemetery and the history this place has for anyone even remotely interested in Irish culture and history.
