29/12/2025: The food market offers over priced products that are at best average. I bought three products; a portiln of trifle, chocken gougons and a shepards pie. All of the products were bow avwragw on terms of quality and taste.

15/01/2026: I purchased a Shark SmoothStyle (5419139) from Arnotts on 04/09/2024. In December 2025, while the product was still under statutory warranty, it developed a fault. I contacted Arnotts via online chat and on 16/12/2025 I was assisted by Callum, who instructed me to return the defective item. I requested a replacement, and the product was posted on 20/12/2025. On the same day, I updated my delivery address on the Arnotts website. After a long delay with no resolution, I contacted Arnotts again on 12/01/2026 and was informed that the return procedure I had been instructed to follow was a company error. Despite this, Arnotts returned the defective product to me without my consent, instead of providing a replacement or refund, and instructed me to contact the manufacturer directly. This is contrary to Irish and EU consumer law, under which the retailer remains legally responsible for warranty claims. To make matters worse, the product was sent to my old address, even though my delivery details had been correctly updated on their system. This represents a clear delivery error on Arnotts’ part. To date, Arnotts has refused to provide an appropriate remedy as required under consumer law. If this matter remains unresolved, I will escalate the issue to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).

11/01/2026: Room was fine and very comfortable bed but a really bad smell in the ensuite bathroom. Not impressed with the bar food

10/11/2025: Called in one evening without a reservation and we're seated no problem. We are both vegetarian and knew that they had a vegetarian menu - this is not on the door outside so its handy to know! Some elements of dishes were not available but the food was really great, we both had starters, mains and desserts and yes, a little more pricey than we would usually go for, but worth it for a treat in my opinion. Atmosphere and service were wonderful!

28/10/2025: Always wanted to try this restaurant. Very sorry to advise but it was an extremely disappointing experience. Staff were not trained to the standard one would expect… food really poor quality. No atmosphere. 1st and last time here.

30/12/2025: The food was great.however the young blonde fella who served me was very polite whereas the woman with blonde short hair was very rude in her approach to my uncle and to the guy who served us. I deffo didnt feel comfortable neither did other customers in the takeaway

28/12/2025: Probably one of the worst supermacs in Ireland. Absolute rip off, prices are through the roof, dips that once came as sides are now extra and they even try charge extra for mayonnaise. Not worth eating at those prices and staff/cleanliness not helping

23/09/2025: I order Lunch regularly for company meetings usually delivered and sometimes we eat in, all the food is freshly prepared daily and nothing is too much trouble. The food is amazing and the staff are very efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend them for any event or just a lunch date.

07/02/2026: The room was okey, but the bathroom got dirty so quickly, the room was quite cold too. It was not cleaned even though we asked to clean it if possible. The noise on the weekends was terrible, there is some techno club just underneath so don’t expect to sleep to until about 3-4am. The location was great though, very easy to get everywhere. So if all the above doesn’t bother you, it would be a good option.

27/12/2025: Not 5 stars but amazing experience with the most amazing employees. They were extremely accommodating and helpful, perfect location. Stayed with my family and we had an excellent time. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a spot to stay in downtown Dublin!

12/01/2026: Dicey’s Garden is a fun, high-energy spot right in the heart of Harcourt Street. The beer garden is great earlier in the evening, and once it gets later the place really comes alive with DJs, dancing, and a lively crowd. It’s especially popular with students and groups looking for a buzzing night out. Drinks are reasonably priced for the city centre, particularly if you arrive early, and there’s plenty of space to move between the garden and indoor areas. It can get very crowded on busy nights, and entry can be hit-or-miss depending on the time, but if you’re in the mood for loud music and a party atmosphere, Dicey’s is a solid choice for a Dublin night out. 🍹🎶

02/01/2026: The Asian bartender should be let go on the spot for bullying customers and hopefully the owners will take a note. Went there with my partner to have darts. For the 2 minutes there, all I said was can we have the darts to play while discussing who is having what for drinks. He was interested to get the order first and went to pout Guinness and then to the bar area to get the ginger beer. Since we didn’t wanted to wait at the till for several more minutes asked again for the darts so we can go and play while the beer settles and etc. he went to grab the darts cup then gave a smirky stare and said - how many times you have to ask for follow by some humiliating and angry aggressive words how impatient we are and etc. we just stayed silent and waited for him to calm down. Apparently the silence completely derailed his emotional momentum and he screamed at us “what is your problem”. In dismay, we just sat there shocked and tried to reason him down that all we want is the darts and nothing else. He snatched the ginger beer screamed again and brushed off from the lounge to the bar side. There was no manager on duty but we plan to go back and make sure the owners are aware. Ive been to this pub plenty of times and this is simply unacceptable in any standards. There are cameras and I hope the owners will review the situation from 02.01.26 at around 2.55 pm.

04/01/2026: We went for lunch for 8 people before a game in the Aviva. Service was very poor, no consistency with waiting staff. We were served by a different waiter every time. Very slow to get drinks and food. It took over an hour for the kids to be served their food. Food was average but overpriced. Tempura prawn starter had 2 prawns for €22. Kids meal €18 for 2 courses!! We were the only table in the restaurant so I’m not sure why service and food was so slow. The hotel is beautiful. The setting is lovely. If service was better this could be a great place to dine.

19/10/2025: Truly awful experience today for lunch. We had been on many occasions before and were always wowed by the atmosphere food and service. A group of 6 of us arrived for lunch today and were seated next to a group of 50 people which appeared to be a christening. The noise was deafening, children running around screaming and staff were few, and very overwhelmed. The food was really poor, the accompanying salad with the prawn tempura lacked freshness, the steak was as tough as old boots with no marination, and the ice cream for dessert was similar to what you’d get at a children’s birthday party. I complained to management and they did discount the bill, a solid gesture but not what I was looking for! We were looking for a nice meal in a ‘small leading hotels of the world’ restaurant but it felt like a cross between McDonald’s and a roadside cafe. Management need to step up, this is APPALLING, and we will not be stepping in there ever again

02/02/2026: I have been a customer of Leo’s Burdock for over ten years. In the past, the food was consistently good, and the prices were reasonable for the quality offered. However, during my last few visits at the end of last year and the beginning of this year, I experienced very poor customer service. The staff at the till were impolite and rude, displaying a lack of basic manners that made us feel uncomfortable. I also noticed a general absence of customer service skills, as well as unprofessional behavior toward other customers. Unfortunately, today’s visit was particularly disappointing. When my wife and I were about to place our order, the staff member was rude and sarcastic. The interaction left me feeling unfairly treated and deeply uncomfortable. As a result, we decided not to order and left the premises. Regrettably, after this experience, I do not intend to return. I would recommend considering other dining options in Dublin, as there are many excellent alternatives available.

01/02/2026: We thought that if we went there, we would try the famous fish & chips. The guys are very nice and funny, but we were not satisfied with the food. The portions are indeed quite large, but the fish was tasteless (unsalted), the batter was hard and dry, and both the fries and the fish were dripping with oil. The food had a rather stale oil taste and smell. Overall, it was a big disappointment for 40 euros for two portions.

20/01/2026: Good value for the money, it's not gourmet bur the ingredients are fresh, good flavor, can be a bit crowded in rush hour but if you don't want to eat in the usual fast food chains, and want to have a healthier meal, this place is very good for a change, and to have a nice salad or sandwich. It looked clean and rhe staff was nice.

19/12/2025: Servers friendly and efficient. Limited options for those who don’t eat meat and dairy products. Vegetable options limited. Wooden cutlery not suitable for eating a meal, takes away from the experience
