07/10/2025: The staff are always friendly and accommodating to us when we come for dinner. I put 4 stars down instead of 5 for the food as today we learned that our favourite dessert “the roasted banana copacabana” has left the menu. I hope it makes its return very soon!!
05/10/2025: Paid almost 20eur for benedict eggs, and food taste was very poor, dish was extremely simple, very disappointed with the experience. Staff was friendly and place was clean, these were the only positive things. Felt the price is too high for what you get for... Unfortunately, I don't recommend this place and its food

02/07/2025: Visiting Dunlaoire and Dunphys looked like an authentic Irish pub.
Unfortunately the welcome did not match.
A young tall ginger slapped a sloppy, overflowing, unsettled Guinness on the counter and said that’ll be 6.80 and when I muttered, would you not let it settle he retorted, “do you want it or not”,I replied no and I don’t like your attitude (well I don’t like yours ether, he said !) and I left. (Wed July 2nd)
Got a contrasting reception and a smashing pint of Guinness in The 2 Foxes.
27/06/2025: Came in for some drinks on our holiday with our 3 year old son says no buggies but they didn't mind us storing ours in the door way so long as it wasn't in the way. Great pub lovely old decor and great friendly staff. Had the Ambush Pale Ale was incredible with the glasses chilled in the fridge. 10/10 would get pissed here again.

It is very comfortable, lovely seating.
Food was ok, maybe it was late as there was very little choice. It was a carvery.

20/09/2025: I had been meaning to try here for a while as I had passed by quite a few times and unfortunately the food that we ordered wasn't up to scratch.
We both ordered the fish and chips and when it came out on the plate was two cylindrical pieces of batter and inside was mushy fish meaning the fish wasn't fresh and flaky. The chips which were more like wedges were raw in the middle as they were just too chunky and most likely needed to be double fried.
A side of onion rings was also ordered and out came a very large portion but was just over cooked and greasy.

21/09/2025: In yesterday and was only two other people, waited about five minutes and had to ask someone to take my order.
Got home and was missing a burger, shame they didn't take as much interest in my order as they did making sure they charged me for a slice of cheese on my other burger
I don't know why I didn't stay with this chipper over other places
The Mixed kebab tray today was unreal, down to the last bite and still eating meat with plenty of salad (red cabbage a must, with a surprise of carrot)
Plenty of parking if collecting
Friendly and fast staff
No need for fancy advertising or gimmicks, just a normal chipper doing great food

07/02/2025: Friendly staff. Helpful. Nice environment. Large portions. Bit pricey. Quality of food was decent. Bacon on burger was very fatty. Side salad was tasty. Overall decent visit.
03/01/2025: My wife and I visited here on a terrible day two weeks weeks before Christmas.
I've reviewed this restaurant before, do this will be short.
The friendly server cleared a table for us, and we're seated in a few minutes.
Food was delicious, served piping hot, sides of fries and mash were again delicious and piping hot.
We visited on the day the heating was broken, but we did not notice, only the server told us.
Coffee was again delicious.
This is a beautiful restaurant, with good food and great staff.
Can't wait to return soon.
I'd highly recommend this place.
Thanks again for another lovely meal.

01/08/2025: Assolutamente da provare. Si trova nel pieno di Temple Bar ma, a differenza di altri locali, qui non c'è il frastuono della musica live. Cibi squisiti e personale simpatico e molto veloce.
Noi abbiamo provato la beef stuve, super buona. Se andate nelle serate di grande afflusso dovete avere pazienza, c'è da fare un pò di fila, ma ne vale assolutamente la pena.
30/07/2025: Nachdem wir 30 Min. auf der Strasse auf unseren reservierten Tisch gewartet haben, war das Erlebte dann wirklich nicht sehr gemütlich. Chaotische Zustände im Restaurant. Bierfässer werden im Gastraum und den Toiletten gelagert.
Der Burger war trocken, unterstes Level.
Ambiente, ist nicht vorhanden eingepfercht wie Tiere.
Das Ganze ist einfach eine gut organisierte Abzocke.

07/09/2025: The portions are generous, and every dish was absolutely delicious. From the moment we walked in, the hosts to the servers and bar team were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding, especially the Sunday Roast. We visited after Covid and weren’t overly impressed, but after returning today we were blown away. It was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. Thank you 🌟
31/08/2025: Had a lovely brunch today, the Full Irish Breakfast was huge and delicious. The Steak Sandwich was equally as good. Lovely coffee too. The place itself is spotless and staff are so friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back.
