The best restaurantsof irish in Dublin

13/01/2026: The bouncer came across as very rude, sarcastic, and he swore at us. That should have been a red flag to leave immediately (his bad manner is a common occurrence judging from other reviews I have read here). You can probably see from his face how hostile this establishment is. Anyway, I go in and the drink was just awful 😱 I returned my pint of Moretti. It was genuinely the worst pint I ever had. It tasted so, so dirty. I have worked in bars and know for a fact the lines were just filthy. The bar staff had no issue taking it back after she taste tested it and looked equally as repulsed as I was. I appreciated her not making a fuss over it. We stuck to bottles after that. The seats were super uncomfortable, see pictures, they are homemade of beer barrels. Very uncomfortable to sit in I can attest. Furthermore!!! The fire alarm went off at least 5 times in the less than two hours I was here…. 😳 Needless to say I won’t be returning, no way 🙂‍↔️

06/01/2026: Unfortunately, this restaurant has closed permanently. It will be sadly missed by regular happy customers. See my review below: The best breakfast / lunch restaurant in Monkstown bar none. Everything on the menu is delicious it’s so hard to choose. Super service too! I’m a regular and always will be. Highly recommend an early G&T.

06/12/2025: 3 stars max because the place is cosy and the coffee is good, but I wouldn’t return there for the brunch menu…branch menu is just average and not a good value for money.

22/01/2026: Went in on a Sunday evening-walk in and got a drink in the bar before! Ordered the sharing steak medium rare and it came out cooked perfectly. Got mash potato and fries on the side, both were delicious and plenty enough food for two! Great value and great quality-already planning a visit back!

19/01/2026: Really cool vibe, had a small plate of ribs that was massive! Great live music in an in/outdoor courtyard area.

17/01/2026: This is attached to the much louder Camden but feels like an entirely separate pub. We visited here twice, both nights had some good live music and good drinks

02/01/2026: Holiday tea is a must if you are in town! The service was great and very accommodating for restrictions. My husband tried several different teas. Sandwiches and pastries were good!

10/11/2025: Its not one of the highest rated afternoon teas in Dublin for no reason! Can't fault anything. Usually theres something on one of the tears I dont enjoy at an afternoon tea, but this was the first time i enjoyed everything! Tea/coffee selection was really good, though I have seen larger menus. I highly recommend

13/12/2025: Bar man ( who we were informed was the manager ) told us this wasn’t the place for us. Our first and last visit to this bar. Staff appeared to be aware of his mannerisms and apologised. AVOID!

19/01/2026: Monday 19 January at 8.45 the security told us you have 15 minutes Left we are going to close. Not even at a third county pub close at 9. I don't recommend.

08/12/2025: Based in Heuston Station. DUBLIN. They employ loads of staff so this makes it a very pleasant dining experience. Would recommend

23/08/2025: We were there last Friday. Waitress was not customer friendly 2/10 I got tea with sour milk , a colleague got the smallest portion of risotto you could serve Rip off and terrible services. Unlikely to go back and we were regular.

The service was good and the server was knowledgeable when I asked about gluten free options. Some cushions for the back of the long bench seats inside would be a great idea as they are very uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time, but otherwise a very nice place to have coffee or brunch etc.

26/02/2026: Worst kip ever. Bouncers like bullys and don’t care about lost property. Never again.

24/02/2026: This place is a must visit. Excellent table service, not as expensive as it might look. Classy establishment, excellent food portions. Good quality Guinness.
