13/12/2025: Bar man ( who we were informed was the manager ) told us this wasn’t the place for us. Our first and last visit to this bar. Staff appeared to be aware of his mannerisms and apologised. AVOID!

07/09/2025: The portions are generous, and every dish was absolutely delicious. From the moment we walked in, the hosts to the servers and bar team were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding, especially the Sunday Roast. We visited after Covid and weren’t overly impressed, but after returning today we were blown away. It was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. Thank you 🌟

08/11/2025: This is a lovely cafe for brunch. The menu is nice and the cafe does have gluten free bread so if you're a coeliac or just gluten intolerant they will have options for you. The service was good and the server was knowledgeable when I asked about gluten free options. Some cushions for the back of the long bench seats inside would be a great idea as they are very uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time, but otherwise a very nice place to have coffee or brunch etc.
06/11/2025: Haven't been here for a while. Not quite the place I remembered. Less artisan and more pedestrian. The coffee was watery and weak. The pastries looked like they had been picked up in the local petrol station. There was nothing unique about the visit that would encourage me back. Pity because I love the concept of a little gem of an eatery nestled into a beautiful urban setting. Not the case here.
