22/09/2025: On Saturday evening I went there and had a wonderful experience. The food, drinks, and service were excellent, especially Manager Simon, who was very warm and welcoming.

S pictures are from DADA’s restaurant who provided an amazing service after being disappointed by Alfie’s** -At Alfie’s, we had the worst service from supposed manager Johnathan, Carlos and Simon. Visited for a pre-booked birthday with my parents, siblings and some friends. This was one the worst service I’ve ever experienced. On booking, we had informed them that we needed a long booking. We were not informed that the booking was just for two hours. Booked for 7pm on a Saturday. Deposit and all paid. -Arrived with a party of about 20 plus guests, guests arrived from 6:30 pm, were ordering drinks. Food Menus were not brought to the table guests who arrived from 7 onwards. Around 8pm, waiters started rushing guests to order food because they had another reservation in the area at 9pm. Reservations team never informed us that the booking was only for two hours. We were under the impression that we had booked ‘till late’’. We were rushed to order food which everyone did. -We were being served by the upstairs manager Carlos or Jonathan who was extremely rude to guests, poor body language, rolling his eyes at customers. They eventually took everyone’s food order by 8.20 pm and a few moments later, we were informed that they had cancelled everyone’s food order at the discretion of the upstairs manager Carlos because he was asked by one of our guests why he was being so rude to us. We asked severally why our food order was cancelled but no one gave us any answers. Carlos disappeared and was no where to be found after asking several waiters and manager Simon. No one knew his location. The downstairs manager Simon was asked to get Carlos to speak to us and explain why the food order for over 20 people was cancelled. He ignored us repeatedly and could not provide any resolution. There was a language barrier with communicating with Simon as all he did was shrug his shoulders and saying he does not know and was unable to provide any answers or the irrelevant person responsible for cancelling everyone’s food order. We even tried to ask other waiters of Carlos’s/Johnathan’s whereabouts,they obviously had no conscience or mind of their own because manager Simon pointed fingers at one of the waiters and said ‘do your job!’ In such a rude manner even I couldn’t believe how he was speaking to his own staff in front of customers. -Carlos went into hiding and was not seen again during the night. As managers, they collectively have no people management skills. Almost ruined our night but we took ourselves to another nearby Moroccan restaurant called ‘DADA’ nearby who were able to manage a big group effectively and had the most amazing time at Dada’s for my sister’s birthday. P.S pictures are from Dada’s as I can’t sing enough praise of how amazing the food and service was at Dada’s. Service was super quick, waiters were attentive and friendly, more space (Alfie’s was like being inside a tin of sardines) they even sang happy birthday and gave the birthday girl a complimentary cheese cake at DADA’s. I would highly recommend DADA’s

29/07/2025: Muy pobre - porciones pequeñas. Es poco probable que vuelva y poco probable que lo recomiende. Personal agradable pero muy inexperto. Alcohol muy caro.

30/08/2025: Excellent value for this fish and chips place. Fast and friendly service. Highly recommended! Everything was excellent.

24/08/2025: Good portions of food, served quickly, with a variety of condiments. The garlic-flavored mayonnaise was special. The only issue was with the cooking of the potatoes: some were still cold inside.

23/08/2025: Fantástico lugar. Gran lugar antes del partido. El personal trabajó sus traseros para asegurarse de que todos estuvieran bien hidratados y tuvieran las bebidas que querían. Hicieron un esfuerzo adicional para conseguir bebidas de donde pudieron. ¡Lo disfruté tanto!

17/08/2025: Lovely pints and a great spot for sitting outside if the weather is good

12/09/2025: Came on a quiet weekday for some food and a pint. From start to finish the service was so bad. Handed us menus when we asked to sit outside, when we asked the waitress if we could have another minute to decide she asked us to come back inside to order? Saw an elderly woman carry out her own coffee to her table, while three staff sat inside on their phones. The young staff are great but the older staff seem like they are hanging on by a thread. Asked us to pay before I even got my food which is fine and the food was very nice. But overall an unwelcoming reception from the staff.

06/09/2025: I’ve visited this café several times and I like the food, it’s always well prepared. However, the service is often quite slow and my last visit wasn’t the best experience: I had to ask for the menu, another table that arrived after me was served first, and after waiting quite a long time I decided to leave. I think that if they improved the organization and customer service, the experience would be much more enjoyable.

31/08/2025: Pure joy on a plate. The pulled ham was tender, the mushrooms rich and earthy, and those poached eggs: absolute perfection, spilling golden warmth over every bite. The oat cappuccino was simply amazing: creamy, smooth, and comforting in every sip. The staff radiated happiness, making the whole place feel like a burst of sunshine. With its cozy charm and vibrant energy, it’s the kind of spot that leaves you full, smiling, and already planning your next visit.

25/09/2025: The Rating System Needs a Zero-Star Option to suit this place. Google should seriously rethink the rating system and offer an option for zero stars, because that is exactly what this kind of establishment deserves. While the waitress was friendly, her good service couldn't compensate for the fact that the food was utterly disgusting. We were staying at the nearby Motel One and had overslept breakfast, so we stopped here to grab a quick bite. I ordered the "Burrata, courgettes, tomato pesto & pea vinaigrette." What arrived was simply the usual round piece of burrata decorated with the some ingredients (completely unsuitable taste wise) nothing more. Not even bread was served initially. The flavor combination was absolutely disgusting. Even with the bread, which we had to ask for, the dish was completely inedible. The ambiance advertised on the webpage is completely misleading. At least where we were seated, the style was perhaps meant to be "shabby-chic," but in reality, the place looks rather trashy, from the floor to the walls. "Cheap" is the right description. My husband's beef sandwich had nothing to do with a traditional beef sandwich. He described the flavor as prepackaged, and the beef itself was barely noticeable inside the ciabatta bread. We were charged for the sandwich despite both of us trying it and leaving the entirety of the food untouched on our plates. I have no idea how this place has survived so far with all the competition around. God bless the person who created this kitchen menu, and good luck.

17/09/2025: Very good place where we had a great meal. What caught my attention was that the menu changes at 4 PM, and someone who came in before 4 PM but ordered after could no longer get a lunch dish. Other than that, food and service were excellent.

22/08/2025: Asked for an iced americano only to be charged the price of an iced latte, an uncharge of over €1.50. Ridiculous, can’t conceive the need to charge extra for a drink that should realistically not even cost €3, let alone €4.95 for a drink with no milk.

12/08/2025: El ascenso llegó justo a la hora de apertura del almuerzo, así que más o menos tenía elección de asientos. En un comedor amplio y acogedor. Precio fijo El almuerzo de 3 platos fue acogedor y todo estaba delicioso, con bebidas frescas. Terminado con café y capuchino. El personal era encantador, desde la bienvenida hasta la salida. Así que en resumen un agradable interludio.

26/07/2025: Tuvimos una deliciosa cena en Fallon y Byrne comedor. El menú incluía 3 copas de vino cada una, especialmente elegidas para complementar cada plato. En realidad una gran relación calidad-precio, especialmente por la calidad de la comida y el vino. El servicio desde el saludo a la llegada y durante toda la comida fue impecable. Definitivamente hecho para sentirse especial, pero todavía un ambiente agradable muy relajado. Absolutamente recomiendo una visita.

29/04/2025: Ristorante/pab fuori Dublino, troppo distante se non si possiede un mezzo o se non si prende un taxi ma la spesa incide abbastanza, dal centro di Dublino, dal ponte piu famoso "Ha' penny" alla location sono 30 € andata, e 30 € ritorno. Gradevole l'impatto appena arrivati, una struttura a due piani. L'interno: più tradizionale a pianterreno, al 1°piano una grande sala con lunghe tavolate e palchetto per spettacolo ( quest'ultima, la classica "sala turistica"). Possibilità di scelta tra menu di pesce o carne di 3 portate: antipasto, secondo, una fetta di torta alle mele, una caraffa d'acqua dal rubinetto. Scelto il menù di carne al costo di € 64 p.p.+ intrattenimento. L' antipasto era inconsistente: "3 piccole/piccole mousse" di formaggio con sfoglia e un pomodorino e qualche foglia di verdura. ( diciamo che se ci si aspetta un antipasto tipico dublinese non ci siamo proprio, sarebbe stato preferibile dire che il menù è di 2 portate e non di 3 ). Il secondo: "stufato di manzo" e "fetta di torta" buoni. Le bevande escluse. Lo spettacolo al di là delle canzoni e della musica dei musicisti, a tratti più coinvolgente, i ballerini molto ripetitivi. Mi dispiace dirlo ma in centro ci sono proposte sicuramente più valide e convenienti.

27/03/2025: El show fue fantástico, divertido y divertido. La curva es una gran cantidad de interacción con la audiencia y muchos datos interesantes. Los bailarines eran grandes y profesionales. No comimos pero puedes comprar boleto con la cena.
