21/12/2025: Another spot where you will definitely enjoy your time with your friends or family!! One of our stop doing pub hopping!! They have indoor and outdoor spaces, whiskey lounges and traditional drinks and food! Thank you Bar Rua for the great hospitality and service!!!

10/11/2025: Its not one of the highest rated afternoon teas in Dublin for no reason! Can't fault anything. Usually theres something on one of the tears I dont enjoy at an afternoon tea, but this was the first time i enjoyed everything! Tea/coffee selection was really good, though I have seen larger menus. I highly recommend

26/09/2025: Fantastic. I had never been to an afternoon tea before, but my wife scheduled it for her Mom. Not cheap, but everything was wonderful.

15/12/2025: Nice place but the pizza wasnt that good. It was like a frozen oven pizza from a supermarket.

13/12/2025: The Beef & Guinness Pie is definitely worth a try: flavorful, well-cooked, and authentically Irish, one of the best traditional dishes I've tasted in Dublin. The atmosphere is welcoming and typically pub-like. The only downside: as soon as we finished eating, they brought us the bill straight away, leaving us no time to chat or enjoy another beer.

16/08/2025: Recently wandered in on a quiet Saturday afternoon after a long walk out from city centre and before returning back to Spain. I had the best turkey and ham dinner ever....it was like having my Christmas dinner early.....perfect in every way and served by a very professional server named Emma I think. Don't know when I'll be back...but I will....please don't change in the meantime. I also love their idea of Spanish Tapas.....next time eh!

23/10/2025: I haven't been to Brady's since around 2019. However, I'm still writing a review for this place in 2024. Why? They have the best chicken wings I’ve ever eaten! I can't tell you in words how surreal the first night I had these chicken wings was. It was a late night in Ireland, my first time ever being in the country, and outside of the U.S. ever. Me and my family were staying in the area, and had seen good reviews so we decided to stop here after a long day of traveling. I was in a chicken mood for majority of the trip, so every restaurant we’d stopped at I decided to try their wings and see how they held up. The wings here were so much more than I’d been expecting. They were sweet and spicy, however they weren't overpowering and were just enough for me to finish all of them. The wings themselves were so fresh and crunchy as well! It may sound overexaggerated, but I really would fly all the way back to Ireland just to try them again. I’d also ordered some crispy duck as an entrée and it was delicious! So flavorful. As we were leaving, we also spent quite a while talking to our sweet waitress. This restaurant not only has great food, but great atmosphere as well. I encourage everyone in the area to try this restaurant if they already haven’t!

23/07/2025: Food was great a d lovely staff. We had a restaurant voucher given to us for our 50th anniversary but it was not accepted on their system. We checked it on return home and there shouldn't have been a problem looks like it was on the restaurants system. A little disappointing as we checked before booking.

21/07/2025: Waiter Smile, music, seafood like oyster, mussel, lobster and rain. Perfect moment on this bar in Howth town. Really sweet time.

21/03/2025: Esta es la segunda vez que he estado en Locks... Siempre iré aquí cuando esté en Dublín. La ubicación en lo que parece ser una zona residencial tranquila cerca de un arroyo o pequeño río es agradable. El restaurante está en un espacio genial y acogedor. El menú no es enorme, pero la comida es deliciosa.

13/12/2025: Take always only. Ordered fresh cod and chips and the fish was definitely exceptional. Probably the best I have tasted although the fries could be improved. Would still come back nevertheless and also recommend this place as a must try

30/11/2025: This was “good” because I’m in Dublin. Have I had better fish and chips? Sure. The guy behind the counter was very friendly. The place is crowded most of the time because it’s in Temple Bar.

25/02/2025: Enjoyed a meal here for Sunday lunch, I had the roast beef, which was delicious real good cut, my wife had fillet of cod which was also lovely, service was also good and the atmosphere nice also but the big letdown was the price of a glass of wine, €13.50, absolute robbery thus the 3 stars, can’t understand for the life of me how that price can be justified for a glass of wine

15/12/2025: We were here pre theatre the last Thursday in November we had not booked and got the last table outside. Staff were super helpful food was delicious and such a speedy service. The rigatoni with fennel sausage was excellent

14/12/2025: Lovely place , great location and views of the area and the canal . Great service , Alex and the team so good and kind :) We went for brunch time and loved the “Eggos Mexicalos” and the cocktails 🐶Dog friendly at the lovely front area We’ll be back as soon as possible

30/11/2025: Very nice pub, reasonable prices and a good atmosphere. The music isn't too loud, which allows for conversation with friends. Very well located.

02/01/2026: DJ’d here for a private function. Beautiful hotel. Load-in not too easy. Bringing trolley with equipment through hotel reception isn’t ideal. Staff helpful and friendly. Event space is outdoors under a canopy, can get cold and heaters can get hot beaming down on you. Overall though, I would recommend this hotel for any event. Need a DJ for this venue? 22/12/2025: Unfortunately can't recommend this hotel. - The hotel room was probably the loudest I've ever stayed in. The bedroom looked directly out onto the hotel's bin store. We kept being woken up by hundreds of glass bottles being poured into the bins. The hotel is also right beside Searson's (famous Irish pub), so you can hear every conversation customers are having outside in the smoking area. We said this to the hotel staff on check-out and they just shrugged and said "oh, yeah, Christmas". - The hotel has zero facilities. No spa, no massages, no swimming pool, no sauna, no steam, nothing. It's really quite hard to believe this is actually a "5 star" hotel. - I emailed the front desk numerous times over a 48 hour period asking for a late checkout. The hotel took over 24 hours to respond, and never actually gave me a proper answer. At check-in, I asked again. They said they would have to check, and I should come down again in a few hours. I said, please, I've been emailing you about this for 2 days, can you just figure it out and email me? Thankfully they said they would. No email ever came. Eventually I had to call reception again on the morning of our check-out to request late checkout again. I found it ridiculous I'd need to try 3 different forms of communication over a >48 hour period just to request a late check-out. - Very uncomfortable pillows. There are only 2 options, and neither are any good. I had a terrible night's sleep (between the pillows the noise). The location is great, but I've had far nicer stays in mediocre 4 star hotels.

08/12/2025: I’m sorry to say that my experience at this bar was very disappointing. The service was far below expectations: the staff showed little attention or professionalism, and the overall quality — from the service to the atmosphere — was poor. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place and hope they improve in the future.
