The best restaurantsof irish in Dublin

22/07/2025: Very happy with our stay. Availed of their summer discount offer which meant our 2 night stay was very good value. Room was nice and very clean. Bar food was good and acceptably priced. Staff were excellent I have to say. Would I stay again? Absolutely.

20/07/2025: I was on a business trip, so I only spent 2 days there, but I can assure you that’s a very good hotel. Rooms are big and beautiful. The bed is extremely comfortable and the bathroom is very spacious. Everything was neat and tidy when I got there. The location is the only con of it. There isn’t anything around it, since it’s a residential neighborhood and it is very car-centric one. You can take the bus back to Dublin’s city centre and that should take you 30 minutes to get there, though. The only close to it is an overpriced Circle K. So if you aren’t driving and forgot to buy anything in the city centre, you’re pretty much screwed. That isn’t the hotel’s fault, though. And my experience there was 10/10. No complaints.

25/07/2025: Catherine's has nice staff. However I had to ask for a glass for my coke. When I did ask the staff offered ice which was nice. Then I got my breakfast bap. I didn't see any ketchup. I wasn't offered any condiments or checked on to see if my food was ok. The staff are nice but it's little things that could make this cafe an 'ok' to a 'great' cafe. I also tried their cream donut which was delicious. Staff in there was nice. One criticism is one staff (maybe owner/manager) let her child sit and play with an iPad or something similar and was playing stuff off the device loudly. This is annoying for most people. Then they sat elderly couple next the child. Overall this place heart. Has a good people, good food, good prices, but needs a lot of improvements on some details.

04/07/2025: Very cosy and cute neighbourhood restaurant, lovely food and a great selection of wines. The service was very nice, the staff was very cheeful and kind.

10/06/2025: Lovely bar, male and female bartenders were aloof to customers' needs. More interested in chatting to each other. Disappointing.

09/04/2025: Went here recently for a few drinks, the heating was on and the bar was like a sauna which made it very uncomfortable, at one point I went to the bar and was left waiting because there was nobody serving. Both not ideal when it's a Saturday night and the place is hopping!

18/07/2025: I found it very odd that we had to pay before getting our food. We were the only ones on the terrace who had to do this; I think it was because we were younger guests. I felt discriminated against. The service was also really bad after the incident. The food itself was fine. I'll definitely never come here again.

16/07/2025: Big disappointment after having great food everywhere around Ireland for a week. We got a very friendly and fast service, but sadly the food quality was mediocre at best. All portions were soggy and covered in sauce, tasting very stale and not fresh (coleslaw covered in some cheap/expired mayo, not edible). Pricing wasn’t too bad in general, but not worth the low quality food. Seems like a tourist trap. To be avoided. Also, you need to pay upfront if you sit outside.

21/07/2025: Warm bottles of bulmers on a scorching hot Saturday. 3 in a row. Yet whan I asked to change I'd get an ice cold one?? What's that about??? Hard to grab staff attention. Table not set up when food arrived. Food was good and beer garden was in great condition. Product is OK Delivery is lackluster.

12/07/2025: went here today with my mother, sister, brother and my wife . myself and my wife ordered the spicy crispy chicken with chips and chilli's . Totally inedible , mountains of salt all over it , all you could taste was salt on top of salt. I brought this to the server's attention, but when the bill came Brady's still decided to charge € 40 for the 2 absolute muck salt dishes. Needless to say won't be going back to that place. ( btw , it wasn't on the menu as a salt & chilli dish , but that's what was served only it had probably 7 times the correct amount of salt , hideous. )

15/06/2025: Found this restaurant recommended via Open Table app & prebooked for 530 as it was a Saturday evening & we were heading to the Bord Gais theatre. This is right up the street from the theatre so really convenient. It doesn't have a massive menu but the options listed should suit most people. Service was friendly and quick. We shared the Chimichurri prawns for starter & both had the cod loin which came on a tomato smoky pancecca and white bean casserole. It was delicious!! We also ordered parmesan fries-a v big portion size that we couldn't finish!! No room for dessert so just had coffees. Restaurant got busy quickly & tables outside also filled up. I imagine it's v popular with theatre goers! Will go back!

18/07/2025: Myself and my sister brought my mam here for lunch today for her 84th birthday. We had a lovely server, Alex, so friendly, couldnt do enough for us. The food was gorgeous, and plenty with each of our order's. First time having food in here, but i know we'll be back 😊

07/07/2025: We stopped by last Friday afternoon whilst in town shopping. firstly I have to say the staff were a joy to interact with, polite and very helpful. as you can imagine for a warm, dry Friday afternoon the watering hole was full of locals and tourists which made for a great atmosphere. The pint of Guinness was very good and not too pricey at €7.20 for the location. It was great for myself and herself to sit at the bar and try to identify the characters in the old photos. I would definitely recommend you drop in for a pint if near by, I will definitely be back soon.

25/07/2025: Shameful... Worst restaurant ever... Dry dishes (fries and steak in the burger), bad tastes (lamb gnocchi that taste like canned ravioli), and a 10% tip is automatically charged even though it's not stipulated anywhere... Avoid: expensive (€75 for two for two dishes and a drink) and disgusting = scandalous I've never been so disappointed: thieves through lies and poor quality

30/06/2025: Had a coffee in the lower restaurant ground floor at weston airport , Restaurant was closing , however a young gentleman , whos name I did not get , was the most helpful person I have met in a very long time !!! So kudos to him !!! Sunday 29th June 25

23/07/2025: Food was great a d lovely staff. We had a restaurant voucher given to us for our 50th anniversary but it was not accepted on their system. We checked it on return home and there shouldn't have been a problem looks like it was on the restaurants system. A little disappointing as we checked before booking.

21/07/2025: Waiter Smile, music, seafood like oyster, mussel, lobster and rain. Perfect moment on this bar in Howth town. Really sweet time.
