The best restaurantsof irish in Dublin

01/11/2025: Nice food and coffee but the service and clearing of tables leaves a lot to be desired. So many occupied tables with clearly empty plates and cups were not removed. I even saw come customers clear a table themselves before sitting down. Also, the waitress delivered a coffee to my friend and spilled it all over the saucer. Didn't even apologise nor offer to clear it up. Very disappointing.

30/10/2025: Nice cute spot with lots of seating.

15/03/2026: One of my favourite spots in Monkstown to grab a coffee, quick meals or just have a wander through. Really lucky to have it nearby as they stock good quality ingredients for baking like Callebaut chocolate.

26/02/2026: Attentive staff that make you and your family feel special. Bill comes without a long wait. Crayons given to children, good seafood, good selection of wines too.

03/02/2026: Oliver Dunne restaurants proprietor Acting Manager Assistant Manager "Gaspar " attended to the probel eventually I was asked to leave my seat at The Morehampton after spending over !€100 On food and drink with my partner A guy was screaming loudly on his phone while I was trying to enjoy a quiet couple meal in "the restaurant" part Meanwhile an abusive single guy sitting over his one pint told me to "shut up" when I asked him to have his loud video call with earphones. I felt intimated and was immediately moved to a different table, it was beyond shocking despite fact ambience and decor was typically good, lovely lounge girl and fabulous food, this took away from the experience and I will endeavour to write to the owner Oliver Dunne.

23/08/2025: In viaggio a Dublino ho mangiato più volte in questo posto, sempre molto soddisfatta. Ottimo il loro piatto della tradizione fish & chips, per me in versione senza glutine con una perfetta panatura croccante e non unta. Atmosfera informale ma con stile e servizio attento e curato. Una nota particolare alla professionalità e simpatia di Simone!

22/08/2025: GOT A HAIR IN MY FOOD !!! WHEN I POINTED THIS OUT TO STAFF SHE SAID THE HAIR IS BLACK , AND YOU HAVE DARK HAIR . BUT OTHER STAFF HAD LONG BLACK HAIR ALSO . I GOT NO APPOLAGY NO SORRY NO NOTHING. SHE JUST WALKED OFF AS IF IT WAS MY PROBLEM NOT HER'S. RUDE , AND CHEEKY STAFF . UN TRAINED IN FOOD SAFTY OR CUSTOMER SERVICE. DONT EAT HERE , ITS A DUMP.

15/04/2026: This is not a review on the products sold here, but of a minor part of the staff. Miss Olivia (yes I have your name that was hidden under your hair☺️) working in the perfume department seems to be very unhappy and frustrated with her life and maybe should not be in that department if she has no knowledge in her own job. There’s a formal complaint already about what happened in their customer service email, no need to revisit the situation. Olivia, you should be happy. It’s free of charge.

27/12/2025: In the Pub on Saturday afternoon the 27th of December and the place was freezing. There was no heating at all. The other customers were also complaining that the pub was too cold. Especially with the flu going around this is disgraceful, not a cosy pub at all. No wonder the place is going down hill

02/03/2026: Jesus. After 2 hours waiting for delivery, I called in asking for a refund. Then got 5 calls from different staff on different numbers harassing me. Asking why I didn't want the food. Maybe because I was waiting 2 hour? Maybe. SMH. Disgusting company. No food, still not refund.

08/04/2026: Please do not eat out of this restaurant. I’m in bed with two days when I told the staff they said there’s nothing they can do. It was my problem. Please do not. My Kids is in hospital whatever you do do not eat out of this restaurant and I was forced to pay.

02/04/2026: Really good beef, waitstaff informed me it was grass-fed free-range Irish beef. Tender and tasty, it came with chips hat were pillow soft inside and crunchy outside. Perfectly done. I ordered my ribeye medium. Drink: long Island iced tea. I love a mixed drink that doesnt lead with alcohol as its first note, just leaves you relaxed and enjoying your meal. . Dessert Irish tiramisu. Delicious with black coffee. Will be back again.

10/11/2025: Called in one evening without a reservation and we're seated no problem. We are both vegetarian and knew that they had a vegetarian menu - this is not on the door outside so its handy to know! Some elements of dishes were not available but the food was really great, we both had starters, mains and desserts and yes, a little more pricey than we would usually go for, but worth it for a treat in my opinion. Atmosphere and service were wonderful!

28/10/2025: Always wanted to try this restaurant. Very sorry to advise but it was an extremely disappointing experience. Staff were not trained to the standard one would expect… food really poor quality. No atmosphere. 1st and last time here.
