16/09/2024: Went on a Saturday night and it was closed. No signs, so don’t know if it’s permanent.

08/03/2025: Food was great! We had the buttermilk chicken burger and the Turkish eggs, both very tasty. Loads of interesting options on the menu, will definitely be back to try more.

06/03/2025: Beautifully presented delicious food. The pudding was crispy on the outside and melt in mouth texture inside !! Super experience will definitely go there again to checkout more menu options. We ordered a veggie and a full irish with bit of changes and it was perfectly delivered!

01/03/2025: My wife and I had a fabulous meal last night in the Guineas Pig .I had the chowder and the duck and my wife had the french onion soup and ribeye steak.Absolutely gorgeous. Kevin who told us he has been working there 27 years was excellent.Very attentive and extremely friendly. Jerome the handsome French chef/owner was a pleasure to meet and knows his stuff. Our first visit but not our last Thank you lads

16/02/2025: The decor was French bistro and charming. The staff were warm and welcoming but service was very slow. Some might say it was unhurried - which is always welcome - but it veered uncomfortably far into the too long wait. The menu has the classic bistro basics. The wine list adequate. My starter of French onion soup was a little inferior - I have had far better. My main, steak frites, was also a little disappointing. Overall, nothing catastrophic, and the staff were friendly. I have been before and will probably return - sentimental reasons - but it has and could be just a tad better in the kitchen area.

21/02/2025: If I could give service 0 star I would never experienced such a rude arrogant manager. Tall with northern accent who snapped at myself snd husband. We used to frequent Speaker regularly. He also shouted at a young lounge girl. Desperate

12/03/2025: If I could give no starts I would only for Jade the manager they’d get none! Just had the girl who answers the phone be so rude and thick with me because she took down my mothers order wrong, I called back when the order arrived and she instantly got defensive and thick with me saying “no you didn’t order two I took that order myself” I am shocked with the treatment I got from her I demanded a manager because she was so rude and I could hear her talking absolute shite about me to the manager next to the phone! so I told the manager I just heard her talking shite and that it’s actually shocking the staff they have working for them and they could look back over my mothers orders and see I have ordered the same meal for the last 3-4 orders like she’s something else the cheek! STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT THE STAFF TALKING CRAP ABOUT YOU BECAUSE THEIR WRONG

02/02/2025: Got the smallest cod ever last week here. Very disappointing as I'm a regular. Even the chips were very small for the price. San Marino in Castleknock is way better and they still shovel an extra scoop of chips into your bag before you leave. Anyhoo it's very obvious that there's less for more these days. Disappointing.

19/01/2025: Romayos have done an excellent job standardising their restaurants/takeaways. The seating area here is small, suited to order, eat and go. The food is still very good for a chipper. Their specials are good too. Unsure if they do smoked cod. Their kebabs are very good, the salad is very fresh. Their burgers are, if anything almost too beefy. The service is fast, I wouldn't say that the staff are particularly friendly but it all works out. The curry sauce is good but the amount they give you has reduced significantly over the years. The positions of chips are decent too. This is a good chipper, never had a bad meal from here.

29/01/2025: No es genial. El servicio era decente, pero la comida era mala. Tengo una hamburguesa de pollo con papas fritas, la hamburguesa de pollo parecía que estaba justo en la freidora de grasa, era completamente de gran tamaño y en su mayoría migas de pan, sin salsa completamente seca. Las patatas fritas olían y sabían a aceite vegetal. Muy caro y decepcionante

05/08/2024: Mi amigo y yo salimos de un largo viaje a la ciudad y ambos necesitábamos usar el baño en el 108. Cuando salimos a pedir nuestras bebidas, el camarero dijo "no se puede usar el baño al mismo tiempo, no es una buena mirada", ambos pensamos inicialmente que estaba bromeando, pero para nuestra sorpresa en realidad era serio. Nunca en mi vida había experimentado algo así, y cuando preguntamos por qué era un problema nos dijeron que podíamos encontrar otro pub. Horrible camarero horrible y nunca volverá de nuevo.

17/03/2025: Don’t trust customer service!! They don’t seem to be able to to their one job! Chose to pretend they stocked a certain brand in store rather than say the truth that they didn’t!! Wasted my time going in and trying to navigate it, to be pointed in multiple different directions and come to the conclusion they simply didn’t stock such. They should have more consideration and know their store, especially being a “high end” retailer.

10/03/2025: I went to Chanel to buy a perfume (Antaeus). I was attended by a super rude and unprofessional employee named (tina). I asked her if she could give me a discount and she rudely said no. Then I asked her if she could offer me some samples because I bought a perfume for 125 euros and she rudely said she didn't have any. Then she told me about a loyalty card that she didn't even give me, she simply told me to add the app by phone when we're talking about a luxury brand. I bought the perfume and she was always rude and asked her for the loyalty card that she didn't want to give me.... Terrible service and it even disgusts me how they can have someone like that in Chanel stores or brands. I will never go back here again and because of that I will return the perfume because I hated the service.... not even a smile and care about the costumer.... The funniest thing is that there was no good morning or apology... Great costumer assistant lol bla bla bla .... because of that , I buyed 2 perfumes in another store thanks you!!! Lose a costumer and im very happy with myself not spending my money in this stores with rude people who think they are the last patato chip in the world. A little bit honesty please... thank you !!!!!

15/03/2025: The order took almost 2 hours to be delivered! I ordered a pizza for delivery at 5:15 PM, and it only arrived at 7 PM. On top of that, the delivery guy stopped far from my house and just waited there, so I had to go to his car to get the pizza. The pizza was great as always, but situations like this make us feel disappointed and frustrated with the service.
