28/04/2026: The food was okay overall, but I’d say it’s quite expensive for what you get. I had to remove two items as I can’t eat them, and they replaced them with extra roast potatoes and a hash brown, which I appreciated. That said, I initially only got four small pieces of potato, but when I asked for more, they added extra, which was good. The server was friendly and took our order well. The coffee was really good nice and hot. There’s also good parking available, and it’s easy to turn in and access the place.

26/04/2026: Editing an old review from 5 stars as I used to absolutely love this place. Have been coming in for breakfasts/brunches here for years now. Used to love the Full Irish ('Farmer's Fair') but they've changed a lot from what they used to be. It's hit & miss on the food a lot of the time, as they regularly change things around regarding what arrives on the plate so it's like a lottery. Food has become very disappointing over the last year or more and do not justify the prices anymore.

05/04/2026: From France came to Limerick for the Easter week-end, went to this fine local cuisine restaurant after a beer tasting that went for too long than initially scheduled with our local cousins. The service and food quality was perfect and delighted us although the place was packed and clients particular and not easy to cope with. Did the job and we had a convivial meal in family. Would advice to avoid going there between 3 and 4 am, busy time. We advice the fried chicken menu with the gravy sauce, not many vegetables but a must do. The seating goes with a wonderful view of the town. In order to improve the experience, the security team could be less tensed, thinking about our friend Bubble 💙🐔Keep the good work, you are the symbol of the local gastronomy. 25/09/2025: Excellent breakfast. Wide selection of sweet and savory options. Everything we tried was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful, patient with my parents, who didn't speak English and had trouble choosing what to order. We were staying at the hotel across the street and easily walked here since breakfast wasn't included. Recommended!

26/03/2026: What a horrible experience it was. Myself and my 2 friends stopped in to get some food and a drink. Initially, when we emerged we the restaurant the atmosphere was bleak and dull. My friend went to order a drink, and the bartender (Owen) asked us all to be ID, which is understandable as we look younger than our age (25). He asked us all to say our date of births which I thought was bizarre. I felt unwanted and not recognised. I believe he is called Owen as when I asked his name I wasn’t told truthfully. He was an older man with glasses. I was completed embarrassed with a restaurant of other customers all watching. We waited about 15 minutes to be served by the waiter. The food was just ok. The waiter Alan, was so lovely and so accommodating. He was very friendly and worked fast, independently around the restaurant. It seemed like the particular bartender that I refer to that was rude, only started to work efficiently when the other manager started his shift.

22/03/2026: We got this point today at the unicorn bar and it was an absolute disgrace. I will never come back here ever again.

09/05/2026: Hello I just wanna say this supermacs is horrible. I was with my family and the food was horrible as well my mother ordered a happy meal and it only came with a burger no chips at all. I ordered a wrap and once I opened it, it was dry, horrible and bland, there was only chicken and when I asked for garlic sauce in the wrap nothing there was nothing, there was no lettuce as well it was horrible. And the service oh don't even talk about it, it was very very bad. there was only ONE worker giving out the food too!.And the bathrooms STINK it was horrible there was so much poop not flushed I don't recommend.

06/05/2026: The staff is so kind and caring!

04/04/2026: Was here with friends. Was watching a friend who drunk too much and a lady approached me and told me to take some food from their party as they were done. I took some of the many food left over as no one was eating. Then suddenly was told by other friends I would not be let back in as I “robbed” from said party who lady invited me to take some food from. As someone practically sober I was very confused and upset by such belittleing from staff. Really disappointed in night as me and friends gave a considerable amount of money- very concerned as to how they treat other customers. Enjoyed every other experience at this bar. Again this at the end of the day comes down to aggressive men in front of the door when no needs be. Not one bit of harm caused .
