02/04/2024: Just had a little celebration with my husband ( 20 years anniversary π₯°) he booked a table by a surprise π food drink and the atmosphere couldn't be nicer... The girl who served us ( I forgot to ask her name) was really nice and all of the team really on the ball.... brilliant

01/04/2024: The best restaurant in limerick by far! Freddies is our little treat to ourselves. Food is absolutely amazing best by far compared to anywhere else. I have been going to freddies for years and years. Great value fir money considering the quality of the food. I've never once had any complaint in all the years but I have been pleasantly surprised time and time again on the amazing taste and service!

01/04/2024: Me and my family visited this gorgeous place on our first family visit to Ireland last year and absolutely loved it and can't wait to return this year - next week!!! I ordered the risotto and was so blown away by how well it was cooked. My husband's fish was amazing, no greasey batter in sight and our two girls loved their dinners too. The staff were friendly and we are just generally really looking forward to coming back!!
20/03/2024: Had a fantastic Paddy's Day in this bar. Started with a very tasty meal followed by many drinks! I was impressed with the speed of service given how rammed the pub was. Once ot quietened down a little the very friendly service shone through. Will definitely return when next in Limerick

30/03/2024: Ordered the Prawn tagliatelle but was tasteless and so oily I couldn't eat it. Prawns were from frozen and tasted like it had freezer burn and were like rubber. The chips were just awful also. The mashed potatoes were gorgeous though. Portions were big but such a pity the food was so disappointing.

16/03/2024: Extremely disappointing. Got our order wrong...two sandwiches! and had to eat one while waiting for the correct order... lunch together was lunch eaten seperately. Went for desert and ordered the WARM Bread and Butter pudding... it was stone cold. I had fond memories of lunch here over the years but won't be back anytime soon.

The decor is in need of doing & seating is haphazard, but it does say they are currently under renovation, so future is bright. Minor complaint on ham hock hash, different plate shoukd be used, a lot of orange going on & doesn't do the food justice. Quality otherwise & highly recommended

03/03/2024: There is a SERVICE CHARGE already included when you get your bill. Yet, when you go up to settle your account, you are "pressurised" by a message on the card reader asking if you want to add a "gratuity". I found it intimidating!
