21/07/2026: We 1st had dinner here, it was excellent. Then we had a pre-booked concert (The High Stool Prophets) & they were absolutely fantastic. The whole venue was rocking. They also are back here on 9th Oct …… book your tickets very early, if available. The staff in Dolan's are 5*

10/07/2026: Everything was absolutely fantastic. Even from before our arrival at the restaurant, the contact and communication from Linda and the team ensured a perfect dinner. Most of our had the steak (which is the best in limerick for sure) along with the monkfish and pork belly. Everyone was delighted with th food it was AMAZING. The service and staff are all so fab and accommodating, service was fun and always with a smile. I haven’t been here in a good few years and I must sa, Freddy’s has kept the same consistency now as it has ten years ago. I look forward to going back soon.

30/06/2026: Here for a couple weeks for work and I reserve seating for my coworker and myself. I would have to say it’s one of the best spots that I have tried in Limerick. I had the pork tacos, ohhh so good. Steak was tender as can be. Lemon tart was good. I would highly recommend both the pork tacos and the steak.

21/05/2026: One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! Amazing concierge service, rooms, location, room service, breakfast, etc. We had a great time here and it was the perfect location for us to walk all of Limerick and learn the city. We loved our room and housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping it clean during our stay. We didn’t want to leave!

12/07/2026: I love coming to this place to eat, have a beer, and watch a game. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is great. Plus, there's live music on weekends and a pool table.

11/07/2026: Dinner on Thursday evening with 10 people. We were seated upstairs which I think is fab. It can be a bit pricey but I don’t mind it for portion and quality. Appetizers and mains were lovely and very filling. Every dish turned out to be a highlight so I can’t recommend enough the ones that I had. I heard bad reviews from people but now I regret not trying it out sooner. It was such a delightful, wholesome dining experience and prob head back soon.

27/04/2026: As soon as we walked in we got a table and the server assisted us with a smile! The staff is SO sweet and they have great taste in music. We got a Guinness & the butter chicken and it was delicious. I definitely will be back here again!

26/04/2026: I went to this place with a couple of friends because it looks lovely. We ordered our food, the woman was not very friendly but we didn’t pay attention to it, went to our table and waited for the food and drinks. My friends ordered 3 lattes, with oat milk or cows milk and the woman at the till said it was ok. We were really confused when a waitress arrived at our table with 2 coffees and 1 latte. She checked and the woman at the till didn’t write the order correctly so the ticket said 2 coffees and 1 latte. We didn’t want to make it a problem, the waitress was really sorry and lovely so we said it was grand. She brought the food to everyone except myself, I knew it was being prepared I was not worried. Then, the woman who took our orders at the till came to our table, asked me what I ordered and when i answered she looked at me in the eye very seriously and asked me “are you sure you paid for this?” saying she didn’t remember me ordering it. I answered that I had paid for it and that there was no need to be that rude and straightforward for no reason but she had already left. The lovely waitress brought my food 2 minutes after this saying she was sorry. The food was terrible, the soup was cold and too salty i couldn’t eat it. The benedict eggs were bland, the scrambled eggs and the irish breakfast were just ok, and the vegetarian toastie was full of onions, we could barely taste the other ingredients. I wouldn’t recommend this place neither for the food nor the atmosphere, there are lots of lovely and good places in Limerick to have lunch, BowesRyan is not one of them.

14/03/2026: Hello. I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries and a Coke Zero. I'm very pleased with the price and the taste of my meal. The customer service was very friendly, helpful, and fast. It's a very atmospheric place between the castle and the cathedral. I highly recommend it to everyone 😉

26/06/2026: All the battered food was amazing. However one should be able to choose the grade of spices for the Asian dishes. There is a choose for vegan food. The service staff was very attentive and could alter an order on short notice which was lovely. The garden is large and contains animal statues.

12/07/2026: Very nice dinner here with colleagues , very extensive menu ; and a nice fully serviced dining area outside, so the smoker can enjoy a meal too. Wouldn't recommend for a super romantic date but it's great mates food and atmosphere.

06/07/2026: Just had a lovely lunch here. Chicken wings were gorgeous, cooked well so they fell off the bone and served with rustic chunky chips which were also cooked perfectly. Husband had a beautiful chicken ciabatta with the same chips. Good quality, friendly, local spoy

19/06/2026: The staff here are so nice and the food is very tasty. We visited with a large group including a child twice last week for brunch & both times really enjoyed the food. Its a nice cosy relaxing atmosphere with options for everyone. Would recommend

25/04/2026: If I had a 4.5 star option that is how I’d rate Delish in Castletroy. I’ve had breakfast here a few times and it’s always consistent. The service is good and the food is even better. Quality ingredients and everything cooked fresh. They don’t over charge either for extra eggs or things like that like some places. Overall it’s fairly priced for what you get. No complaints and would recommend it to others.
