20/02/2025: Very expensive staff rude don’t want to serve cocktails because it takes too long and food was horrible had to ask for it to be heated 3 times as the food was cold would not recommend
01/01/2025: Just popped in for a quick snack .
Was very surprised at the menu everything is very expensive as with most pubs in Ireland now. Meal was average the chips were made from cheap frozen and were overcooked and greasy or still frozen not sure how they managed that. Only had what was supposed to be a Coke which was flat and was basically water. Next time I'll keep driving and look for somewhere else.

Dooleys Of Edmondstown
23/02/2025: Arrived at the end of the carvery when everything looked dried up. Chef said we weren’t allowed order from Snack menu. Too early apparently. The beef was grey. Against better judgement I ordered it. Probably the worst Carvery I’ve ever had. The place looked pretty empty too. I’ll drive past next time.
19/01/2025: Been a regular customer of Dooleys since they opened 15/16 years ago. Looked forward to Breakfast on Saturday 18th Jan, first visit in 2025. Found the menu had changed and couldn't swap out items any longer. Build your own breakfast was way over priced per item. This is a new addition to the menu. One of my party often got Sausage and Chips but Chips was now off the menu for Breakfast even when close to lunchtime. The quality of the food was horrendous which is a new departure for them. The food came out very quick and was very dry. It was pre cooked and just reheated. The breakfast was always cooked fresh but it was awful this time and will not be back in a hurry.

09/12/2024: I just had a fantastic Kale salad from Harry's. I ordered it to take away, and it was delicious. It was a perfectly cooked poached egg with Kale, peanuts, and sweet potato.

30/01/2025: I recently dined at No 3 Wine Bar & Restaurant and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The food was exceptional, we had the starters followed by Steak for the main course. The service was impeccable with the staff being friendly and attentive. The extensive wine list complemented the meal perfectly. Overall, I highly recommend No3 Wine Bar & Restaurant to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience

Carrickdale Hotel
23/06/2024: So disappointed in the carrickdale secret garden food these days, it has no taste and is reheated. Myself and my partner ordered sandwiches (wraps) and they came out in a few minutes, you could tell the wedges were sitting there all day. It costed us 40 euro and we would have been safer eating a McDonald’s. Wish carrickdale secret garden, bar and carvey would be given the attention it deserves as it used to be given years ago the food was gorgeous.
31/03/2024: Went with my other half and mum for my birthday and it was fantastic and the staff couldn't have been lovelier. Always a treat to come for the carvery and it was terrific as usual. Mum needed a wee bit of assistance and the staff couldn't have done more for us. The food BTW was excellent. The roasts were very tender and tasty. The portion sizes are huge and one meal would easily feed two. Really lovely place and the staff are just terrific and incredibly friendly - love it!

19/02/2025: I come here 2-4 times per year. Great scampi and prawns. Fish batter undercooked which is not normal as the food is generally great. BE VERY CAREFUL if you are using a credit or debit card not from Ireland. In every restaurant I have ever been in I get charged in my currency or asked if I want the conversion rate. I was NOT asked here. Entered my pin and then the person sorting the bill used the conversion rate in the quickest way possible before I could say anything. Outcome I get a conversion rate at 8.9% versus the 17% my bank gives me. This is obviously policy and not the fault of the staff member who was very nice. I will not be back as it has completely spoilt a family meal.
15/12/2024: Amazing restaurant with excellent seafood! Staff were attentive, friendly and the overall atmosphere was cosy and warm. We were first time visitors and will definitely be back! If you like seafood then this place is a must!

06/02/2025: Un peu vide et froid (ambiance hein pas chauffage) pour le déjeuner mais la cuisine était standard. Un curry un peu banal mais correct. Bonne bière. Si on est pressé ca vaut le coup parce qu'il serve toute la journée sinon cherchez autre chose si vous avez le temps

Ballymascanlon House Hotel
02/09/2024: The staff, hospitality and the venue were fantastic.
The hotel had a really family friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with beautiful surroundings.
The food was terrific and the staff most helpful and friendly.
25/06/2024: Visited this evening on the way home from Belfast to sample their Gourmet meal in their restaurant again as we enjoyed our first experience so much. The restaurant is as nice as ever and the staff are brilliant. The food is just amazing. You can’t beat excellent.
