My son plainly ordered a plain chicken burger and was given a plain beef burger and the server insisted that he ordered beef but we definitely ordered chicken. Was corrected. Is it now the norm that customers are questioned about the mistakes that servers make

25/02/2024: Had Sunday lunch today and the food was absolutely gorgeous and they offered me a half portion which was great as it was plenty enough. The service was very good except the lady on the floor was on her own so she was ran of her feet plus only one chef and I was waiting ages for apple pie so I cancelled the desert.

01/04/2024: Honestly wouldn't be in a rush to go back, roast lamb served with a steak knife was a red flag, tough and dry, asked for more gravy by the time I got it my food was cold. For the price we paid expected better.

01/03/2024: Overall its a nice cafe to hangout and enjoy chat with you friends and dead one. We went for vegetarian options sounded interesting but after taking order, they informed us that they ran out of ingredients for Falafel. There was not much left of the menu that we fancy. They recommended cheesy pasta without Chicken. It was not the best pasta I ever had At least we were not hungry after that.
Since I went there with my office colleague and they have perfect spot upstairs to work and drink coffee, we finally meet our peace.
It was a good experience but I would recommend to display menu only which is doable or Atleast let us know at the time of the order.
