22/12/2025: I was looking for somewhere for breakfast in the north of the city and found Bang Bang via social media. It is a great spot with a real community feel, loads of local produce and artwork on the walls. We had a breakfast bap (which was good value and absolutely delicious) and a coffee each. There were loads more options available. It’s a small space but we had no problem getting somewhere to sit. I would visit again in a heartbeat

19/11/2025: Incredibly warm and welcome service and atmosphere. The cafe was busy with locals which is always a good sign. I had the vegan mac and cheese which was the best I've ever had.

22/01/2026: Back to The Tap for another lovely lunch - I've had the chicken and bacon pie several times, it's always good. I've also had the fish and chips a few times and that too is reliable and tasty. Always a nice pint of guinness and the place is always busy.

28/02/2026: Terrible venue for this music. You are standing in a shed without even a table to put your drink on. These are fantastic musicians who you want to sit down and listen to, not stand in a mosh pit for 2 hours holding your pint. For €35 I expect more.

16/02/2026: What a hidden gem! Our first stop in Ireland and we were greeted with such friendliness by the lovely man serving us. Food was amazing, so flavoursome and he explained the history of the pub and showed us around the old bar. We felt so welcomed, thank you!

02/03/2026: We had booked a table for half 7 on a very rainy, miserable rugby Saturday night. When we got to Edenderry we realised that we would never get a seat in a pub to chat so called the restaurant and asked if we could have a drink there before we ate. We were told that it was absolutely no problem at all and rocked up to a private little area, the heat was put on and our wet coats were taken and hung up. What followed was a really, really lovely meal for 4 of us, with great fresh food and fabulous service. This was our first visit to Pauline's and we will definitely be back again. Thank you for a lovely evening, your staff were just gorgeous and your food was delicious - sorry for being the last ones to leave!!

20/09/2025: Honestly not a great breakfast, food was ok, but for nearly €25 I was expecting a bit more, 12 euro for 2 sausages, 2 rashers and an egg just doesn’t seem very justified. Presentation was lacklustre

08/02/2026: Waste of money specially if going in Winters . Ticket is expensive and not much to see . Nice place for leisure walking and dog walking. There is car / Train ride . Also not worth the ticket .

15/02/2026: First time for Sunday lunch in Larkins today we both had the lamb which was perfectly cooked with a selection of 3 veg and 3 different type of potato. 15 euro ahead which was a great price and I would definitely recommend 👌

28/12/2025: Visited for a couple of drinks. Bar staff very friendly and helpful. Front areas clean and tidy. Back areas bit rundown. Toilets need to be attended more often. Not good!

20/11/2025: Lovely place but breakfast wasn’t good at all a dirty looking fried egg bacon was rock hard beans very little it wasn’t good and I normally love coming here

11/01/2026: Lovely couple of hours spent in Giltraps Pub last night, Great Music and Atmosphere there, Staff very Efficient & Friendly, looking forward to returning again very soon for a night out. Other half said the Guinness was lovely, I had a mineral to begin with, being designated driver but was delighted to find my go to Non Alcoholic Drink was stocked. Thanks Eleanor & Crew

25/12/2025: Very warm/friendly welcoming village pub , the staff here are very efficient and always a smile on thier faces , the pub has a very traditional Irish pub feel , the toilets are very clean and usable , there are pool tables and a darts board . Food is served daily , mainly pizza and one other dish of chicken goujons/chips (not that exciting but fills a gap) the Guinness is excellent : cold, creamy and moorish as it should be . This pub is a great place to be and I thoroughly recommend it on a visit to beautiful Kinnitty .
