24/08/2026: An absolute gem this place is. Came here for lunch for the first time ever. The building is inconic and the food is out of this world. Hats off to the lovely staff that served us. We will be back !

18/08/2026: This place is beautiful. It is located in the center of town, up one flight of stairs. Half of the cafe is outside on the roof top like a nice little garden. There is also a small outdoor area on the roof that is half inside in a room. We thought it was magical to be in the center of town, but still in a beautiful outdoor area. However, if the weather is bad, you can sit inside. We will be back.

20/05/2026: This cafe was such a pleasant surprise. The BBQ pulled chicken sandwich I ordered was perfectly seasoned, juicy. My sister went for the Italian and it was equally impressive. The coffee was excellent as well, which made the whole meal even better. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, and the ambience had that cozy, inviting feel that makes you want to linger. A fantastic experience overall.

20/07/2026: An absolute highlight of our tour through Ireland. Excellent food, beautifully presented, and the ambiance is lovely. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not fully wheelchair accessible.

16/09/2026: This place is just stunning , beautiful gardens and lots of history, the garden staff are so helpful too stopping and giving us info we even manged to speak to the owners who also shared talks with us explaining some things and sharing stories it really is a fantastic place with a great atmosphere, the science rooms are great for kids too highly recommend

15/09/2026: Beautiful gardens and you could see the telescope 🔭 It was made in the 19th century and was the biggest in the world for 70 years! Also it was the first device to see other galaxies!

27/06/2026: The best cafe in the area, tasty food, good atmosphere and all that with the best prices. The only problem is they don't have any space so try not to come at peak times.

14/06/2026: Great place with fresh food in a very reasonable price. The cinnamon rolls were delicious!

24/08/2026: We waited 45 mins for our meals to be served even though the restaurant was very quite. Kids pasta dishes were full of water, the chicken gougons were southern fried (not specified on the menu). A very small menu, not available to see online prior to attending. Alot of the young staff, no experience, they didn't care when we gave our feedback while paying. We would not return.

13/08/2026: Nice atmosphere. Over salty burger and undercooked beige chips... good iced tap water in a jug. Nice young man serving.

20/08/2026: Service was ok. Food quite poor. Nice enough chips. Had steak sandwich, steak was overcooked, very very thin, so I guess nearly impossible to cook it medium rare. Had to ask for pepper sauce as it didn't come with it. Definitely the stingiest steak in a steak sandwich I have ever had. Person serving us was apologetic about the steak being well done rather than medium rare. Due to the time constraints, I didn't send the sandwich back and eat and paid for it. Mushroom vol-au-vent was tasty, but contained very little chicken. The pub must be in the serious cost cutting stage as prices are on par with everywhere else but very little protein for your money here. Card machine didn't work (signs displayed so assume that machine doesn't work permanently). We had to pay for food and drinks separately even though everything was ordered and served together. All in all, would not go back and regretted eating here. Do not recommend for more than chips and a drink.

14/08/2026: Lovely staff bus service a bit chaotic on Sunday. Food very good. Pity a glass of Chardonnay was so bad - undrinkable actually!

23/08/2026: Such a good evening we had there. Came with me husband and me friend Wiggy. Had pints of Guiness and Bailey's coffee. Everything was great : nice place, nice people, great drinks. Now speaking about drinks, let's speak about Brian. Brian is the best. Is Brian nice ? No. Does Brian has to be nice to serve the best Bailey's coffee and Guiness in town ? Nope. Well that's what he does. Brian is a lot of fun if he wants to be and Brian is nice I’m just kidding. Am I tho? I guess you will have to go to know. And you definitely should go. Thank you loads and loads Brian, you are great. And may you always say "pòg mo thòin" to anyone who deserves it. Anna, Eugene/Wiggy’s french pal.
