19/10/2024: Myself and my daughter had lunch here last Sunday and it was the best I have eaten in a long time.I have eaten here before and it is always good.I had the pork belly with cider sauce and I cannot get it out of my head it was so good the best ever my daughter had a salad she loved it I can't wait to return this is a real gem.
19/10/2024: After reading some positive reviews of The Shack we decided to call there on Friday evening for food and drinks but disappointingly food finished at 4pm.
We were however so impressed with the warm welcome , lovely atmosphere and beautifully presented bar we decided to stay for a drink.
The bar is spotless , staff were very friendly and there was a lovely buzz.
It’s deserving of its number 1 pub in Athlone accolade
