24/01/2026: Came here for my wife’s birthday, and we had an incredible experience. The food could not have been any better and the service was absolutely top notch. Pedro looked after our table and we were so happy with the service we received. What a great character. Thanks very much!
24/12/2025: We stayed in Powerscourt for a night away and had breakfast here. Oscar was an absolute gentleman and unbelievable service. He was extremely helpful and very polite and went above board for everything. He made the experience even better. Thank you Oscar!

23/03/2026: I ordered a surprise bag from Too Good To Go and never received it. It was closed when I went to pick it up, even though it was open until 6 pm... more than disappointing.

Sitting here writing this review, we ordered breakfast. Arrived cold, they reheated the plate. Beans were burnt and pale, poached eggs were too runny, not cooked correctly to eat. This is the first review I've done, normally we let it slide if we get bad food. But this was so bad. The Service was great, waitress so apologetic, not her fault.
19/07/2025: we’ve gone here before and really loved the food. We haven’t been in about 6 months and the entire menu has changed and is way smaller now. The food is expensive for what you get, they forgot one of our sandwiches and it was rushed out to the table. The cheese wasn’t melted on any of the food, we ordered garlic cheese chips and most of the cheese was at the bottom with very little sauce. My partner found something hard in their beef toastie which seemed to be a part of a bone. Staff were very good despite everything. Food was disappointing for the price that you pay and it’s a massive downgrade from what it was.

27/04/2025: The Greek waiter was friendly. The salmon was nice but cold. The burger was terrible and not fresh at all (bacon was freezing cold, burger was warn heated in the microwave, buns was burnt, lettuce soggy), absolutely horrible. The kids Goujous was nuggets. The music was too loud for a restaurant. It was cold inside and I kept my coat on. We won't go back there again! Definitely, wasting money!

11/10/2025: First of all, the service is AMAZING. The waiter was so sweet! He made little silly jokes like 'I got your fish fresh from the sea' and 'I got the seashells at the beach for ya'. Defo recommend coming here.

06/01/2026: I was given a presentation in one of the large room and drop in for a sandwich. Very good quality food a efficient service 👌
27/09/2025: Unfortunately went for dinner here and was so disappointed the steak was dry and nothing special . The other meal was reasonable . You could hear a pin drop in the restaurant and no atmosphere. Sad for such a lovely hotel .

Hugo's Restaurant
20/04/2025: We had a family lunch on Easter Sunday in Hugo’s Restaurant. Rayon and Saibhe provided excellent service. The food was delicious and the set menu was good value. There was entertainment for children in the hotel ballroom which was a nice touch and my daughter loved the face-painting and balloon making. Overall a lovely lunch experience.

11/07/2024: This is our 2nd time here this week the atmosphere and drinks/snacks are great. Really good value and my family loved the local pub atmosphere. Everyone knows everyone
My daughter asked for extra side with her order and not a problem. Lovely little rural pub with good food.
They want to return before they leave next week
