22/04/2025: Nice simple with reasonable seating. Barista menu not extensive but very adequate for 99% of people ( no chai latte - I'm the 1% ) otherwise food tasty, service prompt, atmosphere pleasant as expected from a cafe, coffee shop, restaurant

08/04/2025: After a long walk to the Bray beach, i visited the restaurant in Martello Hotel with my family. We were so hungry and how we realised later We really made the right choice. The food was so nice and fresh, and the service from Sarah was quick and professional. She was very polite and made us feel very welcome. We are living around 80 km away, but we will definitely be back again. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Det var lørdag aften og her var travlt, dejligt at se.
Vi fik god service og virkelig dejlig mad.
To hovedretter- steak sandwich med chips og en omgang cajun kylling med pasta og hvidløgsbrød.
Til dessert- death by chocolate - en lækker chokoladekage med vaniljeis og chokolade sauce.
En perfekt aften.

02/06/2025: Called in for lunch and the staff were very welcoming and suggested we sit inside with our dog rather than outside. Food was excellent. My wife had roasted aubergine and I had Toulouse sausage with the most amazing onion gravy. Beautiful old building. Dog very happy he was given a dog biscuit and bowl of water without asking. Despite the pricing very good value for money. I don't give good reviews very often so this is a welcome change. Thanks Coach House.
01/06/2025: What can I say about this gem? I feel I’ve fallen into a photo shoot of the world’s coziest and chicest inns. The food is spectacular, the terms remind you of your grandmothers sleeping porch, the bar draws you in for a long sit and a game of cards in the corner.

Dinner was good with nice views riverside in the restaurant.

11/06/2025: I love Hunters Hotel, atmospheric, calm and peaceful, so rare to find that in a hotel today. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful, the food is superb and the gardens a true oasis. What more can one ask for!

09/05/2025: Shocking customer service from blonde waitress with glasses.Have attended a few times with my Spanish friends and have repeatedly noticed an extremely rude attitude towards us from not allowing us to park outside to reserving big tables in order to prevent us from sitting there to hovering around our table while sitting having breakfast ..
She does not seem to want our customery so will definitely not be back or recommend it to anyone .Place can be quite greasy and dirty
29/04/2025: We have been going to coffie delights for years as its only around the corner and Jimmy has always treated us very well with lollipops for the kids etc, hes a gentleman but his sister works there now and has zero personal skills and her attitude / the way she speaks to customers is disgraceful and bang out of order.

09/06/2025: We ordered tomato soup and it tasted like tinned tomatoes. The house burger, at €20, was pretty average too. Very disappointed by this - especially as we were told this is one of the very best places to eat in the area. It is a nice venue.
12/05/2025: I used to love coming here but unfortunately the last few times the food quality has changed. I get the same thing on the menu each time I visit (vegetarian) the yoghurt was so sour it was inedible and everything was covered in it. The dish had changed completely,no sauce and the flat bread was overcooked and dry.

17/05/2025: Kept forgetting our order, took about 45 minutes for food to arrive when it eventually arrived, the food was really oily and salty and yet again forgetting a part of our order and on top of that the food was very overpriced. Overall, nice staff but the business is unorganised, slow and not well stocked.
29/03/2025: 1hr waiting for food to arrive. Old and Chipped dishes. Cold Draft from door. Door through to toilets constantly banging from opening and closing Cheap beans used in irish breakfast dish. Staff not closing door each time. Plug in Fan heaters being provided for heating. No fire lighting. Old cutlery, properly stained from years of use. Chipped teapot lids. Overall about 3-4 out of 10. Hope it improves as its great meeting location. Customers arriving and seated well before staff and business owner arriving. Made it feel like a lifestyle business…

24/05/2025: I've been coming over a year, and always have dinner at the restaurant many times or lunches. Service has really gone bad, not one cares about you, the wine list is just extremely over price. I've order a bottle of wine, it was bad, change for another bottle... could not drink more than one sip. I walked out pay full bill, speak with manager about it. She tell me she knows... and just walk away they don't care at all. Good luck, but you lost one good customer.

03/06/2025: Beautiful place, spectacular environs without matching food quality. The price was very high with oddly configured fixed and a la carte menus. The only experience matching the setting was the waiter, Pedro. He was a highlight, kind, thoughtful with great recommendations and fun.
01/06/2025: Myself and my girlfriend stayed in powerscourt for our anniversary and decided to dine at Sika. The current star rating does not reflect at all what we experienced.
Delicious food, great service and a lovely atmosphere all in all.
We went for the 2 course which was plenty big as they brought out extra canapes etc… on the house which was a nice touch.
Overall we had a great experience and was skeptical after seeing some reviews on here but we were delighted we went.
Split pea veloute was unreal!! Also the duck was fantastic. 5/5
