The best restaurantsof italian in Clare

03/10/2026: Unfortunately had very weird experience. I ordered Putanesca Past and in the menu has no indication of spices in the dish. However when the food arrived it was very very spicy. I even asked my husband to try and he also could not cope with the amount of spices. I spoke to the lady that was in charge of the restaurant that day and she apologized and changed my plate which was very nice. However when was time to pay the lady come to us whit the bill arguing that my food was not spicy and maybe I just picked one tiny bit of chili (that was not true because the entire dish was very spicy). She also said she tried my plate that I returned to confirm it. I don’t think this comment was necessary and I felt very uncomfortable she tried my plate that my husband and I have already eaten. For me 2 issues here: 1 no indication of spices ( I’m glad I was not allergic), 2 eaten clients food is not a very good health and safety standard and raise my concerns. Unfortunately I do not come back.

29/08/2026: This food is absolutely exceptional. Over the years myself and hubs have become somewhat snobby about our pizza, ditching processed and chemical tasting ingredients in favour of authentic fresh ingredients. Yes - you will pay the price. But it's absolutely worth it. Fresh dough base, fresh home made sauce, fresh basil melting into the cheese, authentic REAL chips and real chicken used in the goujons. The chef here knows his craft. Thanks again for the great service.

14/10/2026: A friendly, colourful hub with everything you need! Shannon Town Centre is such a lovely, welcoming place. Everything is close together, so it's easy to pop in for groceries, run errands, or grab a coffee without any stress. One of my favourite things is the beautiful art painted on the walls. You can really feel the creative spirit of the community. Another highlight is the Asian store! It's wonderful to find authentic Asian food and ingredients right here in Shannon. Whether you're missing a taste of home or want to try something new, it's a real gem. Add the lovely Town Park next door, with its pond, bridge and peaceful walking paths, and you have a clean, friendly town centre that brings people from all cultures together. Highly recommend!
