Miyazaki
Cork
31/03/2025: Collected 3 Ten Don aside from other 2 dishes and I cannot express how upset I am.
The bowls had 2 prawns and a bunch of unseasoned peppers and aubergines that were greasy. The prawns were soggy and the rice was just boiled.
I paid quite the amount for this absolutely inedible food. My mother got sick as she kept eating, we were luckier because we left the bowls untouched.
Last time coming here. I expected a refund and an apology but they didn't bother.
31/03/2025: Not bad, but quite overhyped. 20 Eur for a basic ramen with what I suppose were instant noodles.

Sakura
Cork
27/03/2025: Absolutamente encantador lugar - se sentía auténtico, y el personal estaba emocionado de hablar sobre la comida y Japón. No hay que esperar a una mesa, buena ubicación
22/03/2025: Love the food, never disappoints! Only issue is the door, it doesn’t close properly and lets in a cold draft!

Wabisabi
Cork
20/03/2025: The Sushi platter is amazing and the soft shell crab was just delicious.
24/02/2025: The service was excellent ! We really appreciate it. Waiters are professional, natural, always with a discret eye on us to make sure we miss nothing and have a good time. All the waiters were lovely, friendly and polite.
As we booked we got a table next to the windows which was lovely.
The food was tasty, with a fair price 👌
We will be back !

Maki Sushi Rolls
Cork
01/04/2025: Service was friendly and quick. Limited prepped menu allows for quick takeaway. Can enjoy the food while walking around. Make note that the spicy tuna roll is cooked, so it has a cooked tuna flavor as you’d expect.
Overall it was pretty great food and I would recommend.
30/01/2025: Nice sushi plates. Everything was very fresh and tasty! Friendly staff too.

Dashi
Cork
23/01/2025: A lovely middle ages lady helped us with a too good to go order - which is already always fantastic. She was super nice and offered a plastic bag because of the rain, then moved our boxes into one bag to make them easier to carry. Thanks Dashi!

Ichigo Ichie
Cork
02/03/2025: Just very disappointing. Food is totally bland and very overpriced, staff seem embarrassed to be serving it. Having once been a very sought-after reservation in Cork, I can't believe that anyone now would come here more than once - and then only out of curiosity. €100 gone rapidly on basic student food; didn't stay around to check out desserts, we were happy to leave after 45 minutes.
23/01/2025: We ate here for a special occasion recently and didn't feel it was good value, really, or even very nice food.
We had 3 courses, and the edamame beans we got as a starter were the only real veg we saw. I asked when ordering whether we should order veg on the side for our main course and were told no, but the plates were lacking. My main course was Kuro Curry - the black curry sauce was not very interesting but rich and drowned the entire plate so every bite tasted just like the first I was bored of it before I was half way through. The accompanying fermented bell pepper (yes, a veg!) was tiny in portion, less than a garnish, less than a forkful not enough to impart any flavour over the curry.
My gubbeen smoked cheesecake was interesting but not really pleasing and not sweet enough to be described as dessert (throw a bit of ham in and it would have made a nice lunch).
We ate using a gift voucher so blew the last of it on some warm saki which was nice but as others have noted, seems overpriced.
All in all, expensive and disappointing.
