20/10/2025: I love this place sommuch! I've had sushi here, and it was the nicest tuna sashimi I've ever had, and I wanted to try the meals, and now I have I can say everything here is excellent. it's a little expensive, meals are around 18-20 euro, but to be honest out of other options in cork, I have to say it's absolutely worth it

Dashi
Cork
26/09/2025: We loved to go to Dashi and it was our go-to takeaway in COVID times. I ordered for collection on a Thursday evening at 7pm, half of the sushi options were gone and the curry and udon noodle dishes (or at least parts thereof) were heated in a microwave, and it still took them 25 minutes to put the order together. The dishes lacked veggies and where mediocre at best, and I couldn't finish the seaweed salad. Very disappointed.
18/09/2025: Visited the place just for the first time, as I saw they have a lot of great reviews, and variety of options, but unfortunately were disappointed, as many of the ingredients weren’t just included.
They show in the menu that the sushi has variety of ingredients, and a lot of interesting stuff like: asparagus, chive, chilli powder, and so, but unfortunately they just used instead of the asparagus the curcumber, and we had no chives or chilli powder, although we should have had😟
Also the trout sushi we had was half raw/and half cooked👀

Maki Sushi Rolls
Cork
12/10/2025: My favorite takeaway sushi spot, a must stop every time we visit Cork, right in the heart of the English Market. So many choices of sushi to choose. I also really loved their poke bowl. Very affordable. Highly recommended.
11/10/2025: Best sushi ever tasted, tuna roll was out of this world. Great selection, even had vegan rolls also.

Ichigo Ichie
Cork
01/11/2025: Cozy place, nice background history
They offered some changes due fish allergy of my partner and it was really good
The natural wine is not my thing however it was a nice experience
The food, specially the meat was super good
31/10/2025: Too bad we missed the Michelin era of this restaurant, but in its current incarnation it still is undoubtedly one of the best Japanese restaurants in Ireland. I'm not a big cold soba fan normally, but now I'm a convert. The duck was sublime, and the cherry on top was a beautiful matcha panna cotta to finish the dinner. We will come back to Cork, specifically for this restaurant.
This is in my top 3 Japanese restaurants in Ireland, in league with Matsukawa in Dublin and Wa Sushi in Galway.
