The best restaurants in Cahirciveen

05/02/2025: Fab food!! Lovely fresh fish dishes such as Hake, haddock or pan-fried Cod. Try the “South Kerry fried chicken” if you’re not a fish lover. Curries, stews, steaks… it’s all good. Delish!

17/11/2024: Éramos una fiesta de cuatro, dos adultos y dos niños. En primer lugar nos sorprendió encontrar el restaurante lleno a las 3. 30 de la tarde, pero un miembro del personal muy acogedor dijo que haría todo lo posible para encontrarnos un espacio y en pocos minutos estábamos sentados. Obviamente había estado muy ocupado durante el almuerzo, así que no todo en el menú estaba disponible, pero nuestro servidor ofreció muy buenos sustitutos tanto para adultos como para niños. Todo lo que pedimos estaba recién cocinado y muy bien servido con algunos toques agradables como una porción gratuita de patatas fritas. Pudín de café pegajoso para el desierto era de primera clase y buenos cafés con leche redondearon una excelente comida. Fue fácil ver por qué el lugar estaba tan ocupado. Obviamente la gente local sabe lo bueno que es y disfruta de una agradable experiencia gastronómica

30/11/2024: We did not stay in the rooms and only stopped by the hotel for lunch during a tour of the Ring of Kerry. I ordered the Kerry Lamb on special. I contracted severe food poisoning and could not eat or keep anything down for the remainder of our holiday to Ireland, which lasted 7 more days.

30/12/2024: Very impressive dinner. The kids had chicken goujons. Always good to see real chicken - lovely breadcrumb, too. We had chowder, fish cakes & the veggie curry. All lovely. Chowder was packed with seafood.

21/12/2024: Geraldine and Liam were very good barkeeps. The atmosphere, ambience, and food were amazing. First time visiting from the states and stopped in for a pint and to use the bathroom. Ended up staying for several hours due to the amazing staff and food. If anyone is in the area I would highly recommend.

04/01/2025: Breakfast tacos??? Amazingly delicious. Pleasantly surprised and an absolute must for a pit stop along the ring of Kerry.

06/12/2024: Fantastic and cozy cafe in the middle of the village. The owners are very friendly and always up for a chat. Coffee and scones in a high quality. The cakes also look stunning.

22/07/2024: What a fantastic place. The cleanliness, helpfulness, uniqueness, calmness - all excellent - not to mention the food and great way to have breakfast in your room. Great place to explore the area with so much to do and see in South Kerry.

19/12/2024: A family of 5,we sat in the very untidy and dirty beer garden,the food was not nice ,It was july this year,i asked for a mixed salad and was told there was none left,It was 1pm.never again.

07/08/2024: I enjoyed an excellent dinner choosing the tagliatelle with shrimp and lobster, it was really very good, the pudding for dessert was very tasty, special mention for the very professional waiter for his young age.
