11/08/2025: I love the Rose hotel ..but unfortunately the last 2 visits have been disappointing..ordered the fish and chips, it was terrible..the batter was heavy and soggy while the chips were in edible..so disappointing..it will be a while before I go back to eat there ..but the hotel is beautiful and comfortable with nice staff..come on Rose ye can do better!

16/05/2025: Ordered a wrap at the deli and was told it would be brought down to me at the table as they were going to toast it. I waited 10 min and decided to walk up and enquire as it should only take a couple of minutes to toast an item. They still had it toasting and the staff member was no longer there. They served it to me burnt to a crisp. Will not be returning.

16/06/2025: Father's day Sunday dinner, usually eat in mercantile bar section... were put in sea salt section. Very poor and slow service, had to go to the till to get attention of staff to take order. Minor request re food was not accommodated. Disappointing as service in main bar / restaurant is usually very good and attentive
