25/04/2025: First and last time to eat there. Mediocre food and staff who prefer to be smart arses and insulting rather than ask a civil question and remember it's customers who keep them open..
25/12/2024: Open at 1:30am on Christmas Day.
Absolutely excellent service, whilst every other place was closed Tasty Bites was open and serving no problem.
I got taco fries delivered and they were class.
Not a lot of takeaways are that dedicated to serving customers!

18/08/2024: A stopover in this town led us to take our lunch break here.
We received a friendly welcome, the food was good and value for money was ok.

15/05/2025: I think there pizzas are fab .I've been here a few times. The only little thing there garlic dip .not great tbh .it's not the normal stuff. But tbh everything else great ..
26/04/2025: Wrong orderes delivered all mixed up , when rang with complain staff very rude arguing over the phone , Domino pizza may be little more expensive but way more quality then four star and nice staff

08/04/2025: We ordered chicken tandoori but it was total letdown. The chicken was uncooked and smelled sooo bad. The spices were completely off balance. This was the worst tandoori chicken I’ve had.
06/01/2025: Unfortunately, this was one of the worst takeaway experiences I've ever had. The food was incredibly disappointing and honestly inedible. To make matters worse, the bathroom was in a terrible condition, with visible black mould on the walls. Definitely won't be returning.

26/03/2025: Me and a friend walked into lighthouse full of enthusiasm to try it for the 1st time, we walked in the door and was greeted by a man with a moustache, we asked him did he serve milkshakes and told us did we see it on the menu in a displeasing way. We asked to order a pizza, this was at 1:45am when they close at 4am, and he told us he couldn't serve it as they were closing which was quite surprising to us as they said online they closed at 4am, we ordered 2 wraps one chicken and one doner (both extra spicy)and 2 fantas, the cans were over 4 months expired and as we were waiting for our food we heard a microwave turn on, this was seen by both of us as we were standing at the counter. We then left and took a bite found out how disgusting it was and threw it in the bin. Lighthouses represents a point of hope, but in tralee it represents melancholy, if you ever wanted to know what depression tastes like i would recommend you go to lighthouse, if not i would keep away from the door.
11/11/2024: Ordered a pizza 2 hours before Close and they cancelled my order after I had been waiting an hour.

The Pikeman Bar

22/07/2024: Locals to Tralee myself and my husband came in for dinner. Service was very speedy and the food was delicious. My only criticism is that mashed potatoes should be served with roast beef. I was given a baked potato. It was still very tasty. Will definitely return
08/07/2024: First visit . Great menu. We were 5 adults and 3 kids. There was something for everyone . All food was perfectly cooked. Waiter very attentive. Unusually not very chatty for a Kerryman. But all was good. Good value considering the quality.

14/09/2024: Got a pizza last night, asked for thin crust (so it would be crispy). The man was very friendly in fairness and gave me garlic dips for free. But I got the pizza home and it was the soggiest yoke I've ever had, inedible, falling apart. Threw half in the bin. Forced half down because I was starving. Sound fella but my pizza was awful. Possibly a once off

08/08/2023: This review does not concern the cuisine because we were not given the opportunity to taste it or set foot in this establishment.
This morning (9:30-9:45) we wanted to have breakfast here. Google indicated it as open, but given some comments, I wanted to check while my husband waited for me further away. Outside, a small sign announces that there is indeed a tea room that can be seen through the windows, and the only door to access it is open. I returned, looking for any sign and I saw a little further on a lady who was busy in the tea room through the door which was also open. I didn't have time to say a word when she said something (which I didn't understand), shouted at me to get out ("OMG! Get out! Get out! Get out!" that I understood) while running after me (that finally convinced me). I left without asking for my rest.
I don't like to give negative reviews, but it was an experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone (especially for those who don't speak English very well like me) so I'm taking the liberty of sharing it.
Maybe this lady doesn't work in this establishment but in any case it is unacceptable to let customers be received in this way.
