The best restaurants in Tralee

04/11/2024: The place is very nice, I ordered chowder as a starter and it was very good, it was light in flavour and for my first course I had cod with potatoes, the portion was plentiful and it tasted good! The service was fast and the staff very friendly. Recommended!!

17/10/2024: Delicious food, fish, chips and shrimp, good service, expensive prices

12/11/2024: Not great now, the self service machine stopped working half way through so order has to be done again at till so lost the discount I had originally, queues of people going to the sandwich part which was a little uncomfortable as felt like they were watching you while you ate.

20/10/2024: We’ve been getting food from Pagoda for a long time either collecting a take-away to bring home or eating there. If you eat in you quickly realize that the restaurant seating area is huge and on many occasions you’d often end up being the only people eating there. In recent times however we’ve notice the young child of the manager / owner would be sitting at one of the tables usually coloring or watching something on a tablet. Last night however he was joined by another child who were both running and screaming around inside the large dining area as well as in and out through the kitchen. You’d feel for the other staff members who are trying to serve hot plates of food while having small children running around the place. Not exactly a comfortable experience when you are more concerned that the children wouldn’t be harmed than eating your meal.

06/10/2024: Good craic and a great bit of banter with the locals here. Good service from the bar staff and a lovely pint of Guinness. Good fun and very welcoming, even towards a Dub! Will be back. Thumbs up.

08/10/2024: Got a burger and family members got pizza. To be completely honest the burger wasn't great the pizza was ok lots of cheese on it. Lady serving is was absolutely lovely great customer service but there was a younger one who was so moody glad she wasn't serving us

05/10/2024: Went to from limerick to see my daughter in college so had dogs with us , raining so staff said bring dogs in so nice cut up sausages we ordered for dogs food was lovely staff so nice prices are reasonable,, will def go back thank you

08/10/2024: I don't know about the rooms I used the restaurant. A little disappointed about the quality of food for the price also the time we waited for it. The waitress was really good and friendly

21/08/2024: We stayed overnight during "The Rose of Tralee" We were greeted by a lovely young lady named Emilia, she was extremely friendly in a natural way, helpful and knowledgeable about what was happening around the town. Our room was one of 4 rooms in an Annexe. It's a decent size, with everything you need. The standard of hygiene is excellent, and the bed was comfortable, and so were the pillows. The room is warm, and you have the option to sleep under the throw or the duvet. I tried both and ended up under the throw. Smokers/Vapers will be delighted to know that there is a patio door off the room I stayed in. As a smoker (no judgements, please 😉), I was thrilled. No more opening doors and making noise to go outside to have a smoke. And as the Annexe is in a relatively quiet lane, you won't be bothering anyone. The hotel provides parking for guests, which is also a big plus, in my opinion.

18/08/2024: A stopover in this town led us to take our lunch break here. We received a friendly welcome, the food was good and value for money was ok. Thanks for the hospitality.

22/09/2024: I had a bad experience at Hennessys Bar as the owner and Staff was very judgmental towards me and other people also there is a smell from Hennessys Bar a lot of people complained about the smell & the owner should have his Licence Removed and Place Shut Down for Discrimination towards people with Different Backgrounds and the Rudeness of him and his Staff along with there poor Bar Service and the Security Bouncers don’t look like much and they are also Rude and Judgmental

18/08/2024: Great pub, always a great atmosphere, pool table, one place in Tralee where you can drink a blue moon - unfortunately they never have oranges

02/11/2024: Fresh, tasty dishes using quality ingredients. Big takeaway portions too. Would definitely recommend 👌

05/09/2024: Today, I only try one dish. Tuk tuk nasi goreng special. Simple yet delicious foods. Will come again.

02/11/2024: Ordered food for pick up. They forgot chips from 3 of meals ordered. ordered a naan bread and that wasn't there either. Ordered 2 kebabs and found a bit of bone in one. Rang up and told them what happened, they said they would deliver our forgotten food. we then waited an hour and called them as there was no sign of them and they told us that the delivery driver wouldn't drive that far as we live outside of town, after they already saying they would deliver it. Appalling service. i would give it 0 stars if i could

28/08/2024: Only option for "authenthic indian food" rest are kebab shops at a push. Got to give props to the young guy trying his best to work solo between sit in and takeaway as he was flooded. Food dissapointing and greasy,flavourless. Ordered yoghurt and a cheese naan for my son : bearly any cheese on the naan just a sprinkle in the middle and yoghury was gone bad (still paid for it). Saag paneer probably the worst i had to date,brown colour overcooked,no flavours and just traces of paneer. Bhindi bahji was okiesh just smothered in oil a hint of flavours. Dissapointing does not quite cover it.

01/11/2024: We ordered food over an hour ago and still and we didn’t get our food we spent €28 which included a delivery fee of €3 and we still didn’t get our food tasty bite is the worst place to order food because the will steal your moneys and give you nothing we called a few times and all they said is that they were closed do not order food from this forignen stealing hypocrites

14/09/2024: Always I ordered fried chicken and the taste is great , and give me always extre pieces for free the handling is very very good I recommend every one try from this restaurant 😍😍😍
