20/01/2026: This is a gem of a pub located on the Main Street in Waterville, opposite Waterville bay and strand. There is aways a smile and a warm welcome. Guinness is EXCEPTIONAL and food (in particular the lunchtime toasted sandwiches) is great too. We drink and eat here every time we come to the area and it never disappoints.

Waterville Golf Links 1889 Bar and Restaurant.

27/11/2025: Superb! The staff were incredibly welcoming. Although we were at a very high-standard golf course, it still felt wonderfully simple and warm. We felt pampered and very quickly at home.
The course is enchanting; every tee shot on every hole is a new story. The views are incredible. I simply loved it!
The pro shop is fantastic. Of course, the price might be a deterrent, but the experience and the enjoyment are absolute!
28/10/2025: We had a coach stop here for morning coffee ☕ while on our tour of The Ring Of Kerry. A nice large club house with helpful staff.

03/01/2026: Excellent bar and restaurant. The beef and Guinness is excellent. Very pleasant setting.
30/12/2025: Found the lunch portion of chowder and bread to be way too small. Was still hungry. It was cold in the restaurant and the server tried to clear my plate before I was even done eating.

08/12/2025: Popped in for a couple of pints.
Didn't eat but others in the group did.
Food was excellent and the pints were creamy.
It was afternoon so it was a bit quite.
Staff were very friendly.
Would recommend highly.

29/09/2025: Rooms were very basic. Window did not open and wasn't shutting fully and it was very windy outside which cooled down the room and the radiator wasn't working. There were spiders in the bedroom, the bathroom and in the halls. Breakfast was made to order, but you could only choose from 7 different things. The quality of the breakfast was mediocre and the "avocado toast" especially was a joke. Location directly by the sea was nice though. We only stayed one night
22/09/2025: The shower wouldn’t drain at all and we asked for assistance at the front desk (phones in the room to call down didn’t work) and they said they couldn’t help. Mind you, the hotel barely had any guests and they could’ve easily moved us rooms but didn’t. Don’t stay here since the only way to clean yourself is by using the bathroom sink

30/05/2025: Such a lovely cafe in Waterville. Fluffy pancakes, delicious cooked breakfast and delicious granola bowls. We’ve visited for lunch previously which was also fantastic. Friendly service and great coffee.
25/05/2025: My mom and I stopped into this place and it was so cute. It’s facing the water and we had a great view by the window. The food was amazing, we both got toasties and it came with a side salad and chips. Great cafe to stop by when on a roadtrip!
