06/05/2024: Great spot for a quiet drink. During the summer there is a fantastic outdoor area. During the colder weather there are superb heated areas so you and your drinking buddies can stay together. The food is top notch as well.

06/05/2024: Was in your restaurant today for dinner we have been there many times before today had to be the worst I've ever experienced. Stuffed chicken wrapped in bacon, you could beat it off the wall. Was so hard and dry like as if it was yesterday's leftovers reheated. Side of veg was so so over cooked it was all completely just mush no texture or Seasoning. If your chef can't cook veg right you have a real problem. I even brought home the chicken to give to the dog because I couldn't eat it and he wouldn't even touch it. The beef was so dry aswell stuffing had no seasoning or flavour at all. Worst experience ever Definitely won't recommend or be back.

21/03/2024: Really fab meal in O'Dooles tonight; whiskey sour to start (amazing to get a decent cocktail in kildare), I had the black pudding and apple tartlet to start, pork for main and custard tart for dessert. Really impressed with the quality of the ingredients, the thoughtfulness of the dishes, and the variety on the menu. Top tier service from Ian and Nicky, and honestly was surprised at the price of the weeknight menu, really great value for a three course meal of this quality. Highly recommend.

23/03/2024: First of all i want to mention the absolutely incredible staff that work here, their attention to detail is spot on. This pub it’s filled with great atmosphere, food and great drinks!. Myself and my partner come here regularly to enjoy a drink accompanied with some delicious food and we The has to be one of the best pubs in celbridge.

04/04/2024: First time that I didn’t host Easter for all the family and chose The Fox and Hare to do it for me ! Had the perfect Easter Sunday in Cookes last week ,family travelled from Tipperary and Dublin our table was just perfect ,plenty of privacy, huge variety in an excellent menu .Tasted as good as the menu read. No waiting time but no hurried feel either. It was an outstanding success cannot thank Amy enough for her attention and all the staff Family have voted it will be our new tradition!! 18/03/2024: Spent the afternoon here for the last day of Cheltenham 2024! The pub had a superb atmosphere and is located centrally in Naas with restaurants, Lalors Hotel and shopping close by! The pub was clean, well managed and had plenty of staff behind the bar to keep the thirsty punters served! Would highly recommend for sporting events or racegoers, great fun was had!

06/03/2024: The food was ok - nothing to do with Spanish tapas but the quality was good - a bit overpriced. The service wasn't good at all, unfortunately. The staff should get more training for sure. When you go to the "wine bar" you would expect some sort of advice and a bit of knowledge about wines. The cocktails we ordered were a joke - €24 for 2 cocktails with no flavour and a dash of alcohol. It was a disappointment, we won't go back there.

14/03/2024: Myself and my daughter went for dinner this evening and had 3 courses, a la carte and I had the fish of the day: Seabass. Very generous portions as shown.Really good value considering the high quality of products used in their dishes. The deserts were magnificent and the coffee to finish was wonderful. We got a lasagne to go, for herself at home, and I have to say, Herself was very impressed. I had a taste myself and their mince/ragu is as good as and even better than most of the high-end Italian restaurants in Dublin, of which I’ve tried many. Sangiovese glass of red was a nice accompaniment and they have a good selection of wines for those looking to indulge in a bottle. Highly recommend and we will we back.

08/03/2024: We have celebrated our wedding with a dinner at The Canvas. It was definitely the best decision we made. Everybody loved the food, the atmosphere was so cozy and warm and the staff were incredibly nice and very accommodating. I cannot recommend The Canvas enough, every aspect of our dinner was perfect. Thank you so much, Roxana and the lovely team!

07/03/2024: I'm genuinely sorry to give a bad review, but I went here a number of months ago with my husband. We were seated and given menus without being told about specials. We waited 15 minutes and nobody came to take our order. It was not busy. We were the only ones waiting to order. The waiting staff were chatting amongst themselves and appeared to have no interest in customers. I can't comment on the food because we were hungry and couldn't wait any longer, but the menu looked good apart from being expensive for what it is. My husband went up to the counter to explain that we would have to leave, but the lady behind the counter wasn't interested. I mean, we probably would have stayed if she had offered to take our order at least. It was very disappointing as we had food here a couple of times before and really enjoyed it but now won't return, this is genuinely disappointing for us. So please don't take this review as an insult, but maybe as room for improvement. Thank you
