01/04/2024: BEWARE - FALSE ADVERTISING OF FULLY REFUNDABLE BOOKING I usually don’t leave reviews but our experience with Marlin Hotel was extremely terrible and would like to WARN others. My friend made a reservation on our behalf (who also has now left a review for this hotel- We made a reservation with the Marlin Hotel in October 2023 only because they (falsely) advertised that they offer a full refund if the reservation is cancelled 24hr before the check-in date. Due to a few unforeseen circumstances, we needed to cancel our reservation and did so almost a week before my check-in date. We reached out to the hotel and they refused our refund. I looked up the hotel policies on various sites or various dates, and they all advertise a 100% full refund if cancelled 24hr in advance no matter the room type/ month or year of booking, so we have absolutely no idea why they refused our request. When we requested for a reason for refusal, all they mention is “hotel policies”. They also mention that they have different pricing which determine refund policies, but that seems untrue since no where do they have differential pricing and all their room types are advertised as fully refundable. It also seems like we’re not the only one and a few other people have faced similar issues with the hotel based on past reviews. Please do not choose this hotel, save yourself the hassle and stress!

25/03/2024: Takeaway, as always , not disappointed, the best Indian restaurant and takeaway I've tired. A must try . You won't be disappointed. As of march 2024 Disgraceful price hike , keep on adding price hikes, you have lost a customer, almost 10 euro added for a meal for 2 , 26 before then went up 29 , now 38.95 you should be ashamed... You were affordable for a family , now no longer will be, for family's in the celbridge community will not buy your food not that they don't like , they can't afford....

03/04/2024: The menu was very broad but simple, had all of our favourites. You can tell it’s a family owned business. The little waiter at the door was so polite and gave a great atmosphere to the place. Food was amazing for the price, considering you can’t get anything affordable in this country anymore. I would recommend if you’re stopping into cellbridge town.

22/02/2024: I rarely find gluten free pizza but where I do I've typically found it to be delicious. Sadly Marios Gluten Free Wood fired Pizza was horrible. I tried it and opted to give it to my dogs. Before I did my teen son a pizza fanatic didn't wanted to waste it - he described it as 'soggy wet bread' and agreed twas fit for the two dogs, one of whom wouldn't eat it.

18/02/2024: Service was good but food was pretty awful. We ordered sweet and sour chicken and it was that chernobyl orange colour you get in some take aways. It also didn't taste good. Will not be going back. Am very surprised to see so many good reviews.

07/01/2024: Went in on a busy night a few weeks back and ordered a spice bag, they were juggling many orders at once and a few minutes after I’d ordered and paid My bus showed up. I let one of the friendly workers there know (male, tall) and he put my order above everyone and got it to me in time. Excellent customer service and 10/10 food👍

01/11/2023: Sloppy auld kebab. He broke the bottom of pitta 🥙 bread. Food everywhere. Too much lettuce. Thought he’d sneak it in and I’d be gone. Now every knows . Dearer than my local takeaway. .

18/02/2024: Ordered food waited 1 hour they said 45 mins then another 15 minutes did not get right order send it back then waited another 20 minutes and food was spicy and I asked twice no spices won’t order again !!
