18/03/2025: We decided to treat ourselves to a late lunch on the day before Saint Patrick’s Day and went to Celbridge. We wound up at the Riverside/Whistling Pig after checking out the menu outside. There were 5 of us - 2 adults and 3 children. We all enjoyed our meals and the staff were wonderful. The tv’s were pretty distracting for us but plenty of people in the pub were enjoying the various races and matches that were on. They had a good children’s menu and we enjoyed dessert too. We would definitely go back.

05/03/2025: Just had a reply from the owner about my review earlier today. First of all it's Patrick not John. Secondly the eggs were over done and shells . Horrible. Funny how the owner never explained about how dirty the place looks, it's not just coffee dust on the clothes of the waitresses, I would ask you politely to figure out how other cafés manage to have their staff looking smart and clean.! I see I'm not alone in describing the poor cleanliness of the place. Also dogs have no place inside, even though it's a dog friendly place, think of the possibility of a dog attacking a child, I wouldn't chance another brekkie in the cafe thanks.

They closed way before the closing time on a Sunday and were visibly just chilling at the desk not serving anyone.
Once again the food is some of the best chipper food in ireland but the way they treat their opening hours is downright unprofessional

I just had the worst experience at this car wash in Celbridge. I paid €14, expecting a proper clean, but my car still had dirt on it when they were done. When I pointed it out, they casually told me, “We can’t clean everything.” Seriously? If you can’t do the job properly, why even run a car wash?
If you guys can’t clean cars, just close the business and let someone who actually knows what they’re doing take over. Total waste of money and time. Avoid this place at all costs!
20/02/2025: The young guy working there early this morning 20th Feb is so lovely. It was lashing rain and he came running out to me with an umbrella. Such a gent you don't see that often anymore
