The best restaurants in Celbridge

11/06/2025: Ordered chicken rotisserie box. Every time we ordered it’s been different. Chicken was pink not cooked. So spicy. We ordered chips was not even chips was like waffles and so salty you couldn’t even eat it. Won’t be buying from here again as all 3 times have been some sort of problem. If you want nice food In celbridge go to SOLO CAFE on main st lovely staff and fresh food

10/06/2025: Portion size decreased, prices increased! after renovation. Loyal customer for over a year, but now have to think twice before ordering from them! However food is good and quick service! Lots of options to choose from.

05/09/2025: Thought from the description that it was a sit down restaurant but it is take out only. Pizza was good.

17/07/2025: thanks for making a delicious Vesuvio pizza with the most amazing roasted peppers rather than raw ones (like they do in other places) as it gives a lovely flavour. Your carbonara and wings are a must in our house too. Always friendly staff when ordering.

15/08/2025: We had a fantastic experience at the Mill restaurant. When we arrived at the venue, there had been a mix up with our booking (not the fault of the venue) but the team found a space for us despite it being sold out. On hearing that we were on our anniversary we were given complimentary drinks. The service was fantastic, even though our table was outside the usual service space. Senan who was our waiter was extremely attentive, professional and informed of the menu and suitable wine pairings. We will be coming back for sure. Thank you for making our anniversary special!

07/08/2025: Stayed in the Cliff and ate in The Mill. The restaurant is bright and beautiful although the bar at the restaurant was a bit unnecessarily dark. The servers were very young but really well trained. Attentive but not over bearing. The food was just incredible. We were introduced to bread on the table. Both breads were lovely and warm. The Guinness bread was outstanding and a full loaf came home with us . I had pigeon to start and it was glorious. My wife had the lobster salad, again amazing. We both had John Dory for mains. It came with a beautiful chowder as well as beautiful fresh gnocchi. The star of the show was the fish itself. It was absolutely exquisite. Worthy of any Michelin restaurant that I have been too. The chef is hitting huge highs with this and all the dishes. Desert was equally amazing. My wife had the Louis xv and loved it . I had the cheese board and my only issue was that there was too much. Even the kitchen made crackers were superb. Cant wait to go back.

13/09/2025: Absolutely terrible. Last time they gave us inedible food, had to recieve a refund. Thought we’d give them another chance. This time gave us pepperoni bites instead of Cajun chicken. My partner is Muslim and he ate one without realising first. It’s not that hard to see what people order and do it correctly. People could have allergies or anything ?! Terrible will never order from here again

05/09/2025: Just got an order, the don wrap meat was cold and burnt, hardly any food in it apart from onion and mostly just the wrap which was ripped through the middle. Absolutely disgusting and the "chef" needs to learn how to put a basic wrap together. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE

03/09/2025: I visited Eddie Rockets Celbridge today for a quick bite at 8:29pm. After waiting a few minutes to be seated, the supervisor informed me that food service had ended and only takeaway was available, when I pointed out the restaurant closes at 9pm she reluctantly allowed me to order on the condition that I leave by 9pm. As I knew what I wanted I ordered boneless chicken wings and a chocolate milkshake, but was served chicken nuggets instead. When I questioned this, both the supervisor and chef insisted they were wings, which was incorrect as I’ve had the item many times before. I left without eating or paying, as the food was not what I ordered. I would advise the management of the outlet to carry out menu training for both supervisor and kitchen staff to have proper menu knowledge, and customers are not asked to leave before they even order. If you post any reviews of your experience and if you get a reply from Eddie Rockets to email them. Well they will not reply to your complaint or even acknowledge they received your experience of food or service. So dont bother emailing them, it saves you 5mins to do better things***
