20/10/2024: Friendly bar serving great food and drinks

16/09/2024: I spent two hours in the Abbey Lodge, food was brilliant, the two waitresses took a good half an hour to recognise me to take my order, walked around, took everyone else's glasses from the tables around me and not once acknowledged my brother and I. When one of them DID come around, I felt I impositioned her as she came around with a face on her. But the next thing about atmosphere is that I felt soured towards it due to her attitude and therefore I didn't feel the need to spend any more of my money as I didn't feel welcomed nor wanted. I hope to see an improvement in service later in the future.

06/06/2024: Filthy dirty! This place seriously needs to be inspected. My cup was filthy when I ordered tea. I had to clean it. I ordered a toasted tuna, sweetcorn and mayo sandwich with a little cheese and onion. Whilst waiting for my food I was glancing around and saw how grubby the place was. I had to remind the guy about my food and he said it was coming. When it arrived, there was absolutely no corn, a load of cheese and all I can think is he must have run out of tuna because there was so little on my sandwich. I was left looking at my sandwich and he must have noticed because he asked was I OK. I told him there was no sweetcorn and he said again "it's coming". He then brought over a saucer with "still frozen" sweetcorn he had just cut off a mini cob. I was horrified. I couldn't eat it. I drank some tea and ate the chips on the side of my sandwich. When I went up to pay, I got a good look behind the counter and felt sick at how dirty the place was. The coffee machine alone looks like it hasn't gotten a wipe of a cloth since it's been installed. I paid €10.50 for that disgusting experience! Never again. Go somewhere else. I will for sure in future.

09/11/2024: Decided to give this place another try as we have had so many disappointing experiences and it has not changed. We ordered to collect food , gave them an hour's notice, arrived wasn't ready, it ended up that it was only been prepared when we arrived to collect it. Almost an hour and a half from the time we ordered, we eventually got our food. Burgers were good, slightly overdone, chicken nuggets were like charcoal, sliders are nothing to write home about and the fries weren't crispy. I ended up putting on birds eye chicken dippers for the kids as they would not touch the ones we ordered here and I would not blame them. They couldn't even get the drinks order right and they are certainly watered down. This has to be the worst Eddie Rockets ever. Save your money, local chipper is alot tastier and better on the pocket.

26/10/2024: -100 really bad customer service appalling behaviour half the order missing and issues with payment. Food was really bad also would not return or advise anyone to go here!

20/10/2024: The Irish breakfast and French toast were completely greasy, and the sausage was undercooked, not to mention the coffee, which was terrible

08/06/2024: Waited ages to order, once we ordered soup of the day was informed they had no soup left. My husband asked for cheese and ham sandwich, informed no ham left. I ordered salmon and eggs ...waitress returned few mins later and informed me no salmon left. When we went to pay they had no machine and asked for either cash or revolut by scanning a barcode. Totally unpleasant experience, won't be back.

04/10/2024: I absolutely love this restaurant, I have been getting take away’s from here for three plus years and to date have not had a single bad one. Could not recommend enough!!

22/06/2024: Prices have increased disproportionately. Over €20 for a prawn biryani take away is insane.

27/10/2024: Great service lady on the phone so helpful and professional, Amazing food ribs boneless full of meat, rice and salt and chilli prawns best in area.... wonton soup no words how great is... fully recommended. Best chainise in Celbridge

04/10/2024: Smallest spice bag ever. Taste of sugar of it . Very expensive fir the size . Won't be back plenty of nicer ones around real competition
