19/10/2024: D'un point de vue français la façade ferait presque fuir (comme souvent en Irlande) mais il faut pousser la porte, c'est juste parfait à tous points de vue, ambiance, cuisine, rien à redire. J'ai fait beaucoup de pubs / restaurants en Irlande, celui-ci fait partie de mes préférés.

12/06/2025: Very kind staff. And I said KIND not NICE. A good example of how to be kind and not "nice". Got a discount and also my water bottle was refilled. Great experience after I was judged at the cathedral nearby (St Canice's) for being from a different country and having a disability.

31/05/2025: Wonderful local ‘chipper’ spotlessly clean with friendly hard working staff. The food was excellent with generous portions. I had Southern fried chicken , chips and chilli sauce, excellent. But the highlight was the smiling friendly staff. It is worth going in just to see the pizza ladies smile, Rosalia I think was her name. I will be ordering Pizza next time 😁

27/06/2025: hi all..really enjoyed food here .. The restaurant is back open again. It has a great selection of suhi and also oriental food..no drink licence there yet..so allowed bring your own..service excellent..we will definitely eat there again..highly recommend..
25/06/2025: Ordered noodles and rice with beef and a few other bits from LAM cuisine, absolutely incredible! The beef is honestly the best I've had in kilkenny. So soft and flavour full. Portion sizes very good making it great value for money. Highly recommend 👌

21/06/2025: Weak across the board – not a restaurant we recommend
We ate at Green Spice and were disappointed in several respects:
• The ambiance is cold and uncomfortable – a small, poorly decorated space that resembled a better-quality snack bar more than a restaurant.
• The service was poor: There was only one employee, who was obviously completely overwhelmed. Orders were taken rudely and without any interest. The whole time, you had the feeling he was also working in the kitchen.
About the food:
• The portion size was generally okay, but that doesn't help much if the quality isn't up to scratch:
• The meat was tough, the sauce lacked flavor, rather mushy.
• The appetizer arrived burnt and seemed like it had been reheated several times.
• Side dishes like rice and naan require an extra charge and were disappointing in terms of taste.
• Poor value for money – we paid significantly too much for what was served. • And to top it all off: Cash only, which was neither advertised nor acceptable in a restaurant of this price range.
Conclusion:
A disappointing visit in every respect. The food was mediocre, the service poor, the atmosphere uncomfortable, and, to top it all off, overpriced. Anyone looking for good Indian food with friendly service and fair dealing should definitely choose another place. We certainly won't be back.
09/05/2025: Recommend!! Very sweet little Indian who impresses with great authentic food. ☺️ The owner is very attentive and happy to have a quick chat. We loved it on our road trip there!
