13/10/2024: I have very mixed feelings, starters, bread, soup tasty, 4 main courses were a tragedy, unsalted potatoes, tough meat, my wife ordered duck instead of fillet she got 2 slices of rubbery meat with unfried skin and additionally unseasoned, salad dressing was just lemon, 2 beers on the menu, desserts very weak but above all paying 40e for a main course I would like there to be something on the plate, a portion for a small child. Honestly I don't understand how you can start so well and end so badly. For 4 people we paid 320e and left hungry and very disappointed. I went, I saw, I tried unfortunately I won't go back there, the restaurant tries to be exclusive but it lacks the basics. As a restaurant run by a chef with a Michelin star I simply don't understand the idea and even more so the execution.
30/09/2024: Really excellent night in Bramley, had the tasting menu at €75 per head, well worth it, great value. Sadly had to drive so could not hop of the wine. Short list but covers the main regions. All in all would definitely recommend.

09/10/2024: My husband and I stayed in Abbeyleix last weekend and called into morriseys numerous times. The lovely barmaid Shauna was in every night and even did a day and night shift on the Saturday! She told us the amazing history of Morrisseys and told us about the new renovations, we will definitely be back for upcoming food. She gave us great recommendations of walks to do in Laois. Such a wonderful and hardworking young girl juggling work life and her final year in university. She deserves every promotion and more! She went above and beyond to welcome us and was a pleasure to be around. A credit to morriseys!

05/11/2024: Great hotel. Friendly staff. The boardwalk is great to have situated at the back of the hotel. The room was comfy and warm. The shower however was always luke warm and would turn colder and hotter which wasn't pleasant. We stayed 3 nights so it was an ongoing issue which made having a shower something to avoid. The toiletries in the room were absolutely gorgeous. Overall we would recommend the hotel as it met our expectations.
03/10/2024: Stopped here for food on my way from Dublin to Cork.
Premium Priced food for below average produce.
Wouldn’t recommend.
Service was good but food is not good.

16/11/2024: We frequently order from them. It's the best Indian food I've delivered to my door in 11 years of Ireland, and note that I lived in 2 cities and 3 small towns. I highly recommend it for a cosy night at home.

25/08/2024: Avoid at all costs spaghetti bolognaise for €19.95 and was average at best. Food was utter crap . You can get better and cheaper food in Dublin than this And the place needs a lick of paint very dirty walls
25/08/2024: We attended as a large table of family. We all ordered different meals and have varying tastes ranging from toddler pallette to foodies. Everyone was not only satisfied but was sad to come to an end to such a wonderful taste experience. I cannot reccomend this restaurant enough, the service was wonderful and provided by younger people who genuinely seemed to care about how we enjoyed our evening. The food was full of fresh ingredients which combined into flavours full of depth and felt like they had been prepared for you at a family table in Italy.
Pleasing everyone in a group can be hard but everyone agreed that we will be back, together and separately.
I highly encourage you to visit and try anything from their menu, it was an evening where everyone said "you have to taste this" for every dish served.

05/10/2024: Great little find at the back of the hotel. Lovely area to sit and relax. Family friendly also and loads of parking. Can’t wait to try pizza menu next time.
02/07/2024: Lovely spot, but pricy. Upwards of 4eur for a coffee, and 5eur or so for a pastry.

22/01/2024: Service with a smile.
Came In here once to escape the chills of winter, but with nice stools and counters to have your coffee or hot chocolate at, I've come back time and time again.
Great drinks at great prices with the woman who works here always coming across as kind and approachable.
19/11/2023: Excellent coffee in a shop packed with interesting wines and a great range of quality fancy foods. Lovely staff too.
