17/06/2025: We stopped off on our way to heywood gardens. We got sausage rolls , cakes and coffee. I see now why there's a queue. The sausage rolls are so tasty.
10/06/2025: Lovely fresh food and bread here. Staff are always lovely and smiling.
But... if they're going to be charging €7.90 for a ham,cheese and onion toastie it needs more ham than this, I'll try again next time in case this is a once off and re edit this.

26/06/2025: Lovely spot in the centre of Abbeyleix serving fresh perfectly cooked dishes. Varied wine menu and the option of tasting menu or a la carte. Will definitely visit again. Staff were helpful and friendly. 10/10
08/06/2025: Tasting menu was delicious. Good value. Great service. Would recommend if you’re in the area and if you’re not - worth a detour!

06/07/2025: Last month, my sister had a 60th birthday lunch , it was in a lovely fresh function room just off the main bar area .
The food and the service was really good. The staff in the hotel are so facilitating and pleasant .

05/06/2025: We had a wonderful evening meal in this gem of a restaurant, from the moment we walked in we were made feel so welcome. The staff were all so friendly and professional and happy to make suggestions if needed. The bruschetta to start would have to be tasted to appreciate how good it was, our mains were absolutely delicious and finished off with the best tiramisu I have had in a very long time. This is truly a hidden gem and will definitely be back next time we are In Abbeyleix
26/05/2025: Had a lovely meal here with my partner. Fast, efficient staff. I had the lasagne & he had Carbonara. Would def eat here again.

20/03/2025: Jade Palace , I would highly recommend, to anyone. My experience is very good.
Food is good and Value for Money.
I was there few times for takeaway, now they have opened the restaurant and looks very nice.
I got a Singapore Fried-rice it cost me only €9.00 good portion.
Next time I shall Dine-in
It is nice to Dine-in and after the meal pot of Chinese tea is a must.

09/03/2025: We ordered a takeaway away yesterday , it took over 1 hr and 45 mins to get to us. The delivery driver was lovely and very apologetic , the kebab was amazing but the chips cheese and coleslaw was not good, chips were only half cooked and most were inedible. 6 euro for delivery when it took that long wasn't really fair.

29/06/2025: Great location and lots of parking. Also great for dogs. Coffee was very nice, we had toasties - they were okay. No very filled and no crisps or sides and still cost over €6 each. Would return as handy spot to pull in.
21/02/2025: Not a great experience! Kids spent ages deciding on which pizza to choose ,finally informed there was no pizza .
Also no chips or burgers !!
Premade sandwich es and soup with a few sad tired looking cakes Two of our party choose the soup , the smell was enough for one lady, would not even taste it but she was right, it was dreadful. One sip was enough.
Nice location and nice lady working, she appreciated the lack of choice ,but it was quiet, maybe should have let us know it was a limited menu instead of listening to kids take ages to decide over pizza .
Will pack a picnic the next time

Came In here once to escape the chills of winter, but with nice stools and counters to have your coffee or hot chocolate at, I've come back time and time again.
Great drinks at great prices with the woman who works here always coming across as kind and approachable.
19/11/2023: Excellent coffee in a shop packed with interesting wines and a great range of quality fancy foods. Lovely staff too.
