24/05/2025: Useless. Can't even get an order right, getting flat drinks is common here so is cold food Longest wait in a drive thru especially when there is a queue.

06/04/2025: Food was terrible, extremely disappointed, €90 for 3 people and extra 3.75 for mint sauces. If your a lover of Indian cuisine avoid, the only redeeming thing was the Nan bread which was ok

14/06/2025: I was attending a conference and the room was booked for me. On entering the room, the first thing I noticed was the horrible smell, The room smelt really bad. I couldn’t identify the smell but it was possibly stale sweat/dirty nappies/bad body odour. I had to immediately open the window. There was no major improvement in the smell situation even though I left the window open for 2 hours. There were no headboards on the beds in the room. Dirty walls behind the bed. Stained pillows, Categorically, the worst hotel room that I have ever stayed in. I did not complain as the accommodation was booked on my behalf but I will be relaying this feedback to the organisers of the event. Dreadful! Only plus was that the bathroom appeared to be clean.

12/05/2025: The best chipper in town ... they are in Mountmellick too. Great 2 for 1 offers Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

15/06/2025: Yesterday i entered fuel coffee for a acai bowl they made me unAWARE that there was peanuts in there acai bowl, not knowing this i started digging into my bowl shortly after this i took an alllergic reaction as im severely allgeric to peanuts not a good experience

15/05/2025: This was my 3rd visit to Lana around the country, every time I have the most amazing meal. The staff at this location were very friendly, the food came so quickly and such amazing quality fresh foods. I always order the chili and cashew with veg & tofu. I usually don’t like tofu but Lana do it beautifully. The chips were so fresh and tasty. The free ice cream after meal is a lovely bonus!

10/05/2025: Best delivery service in Portlaoise. Food is always warm, quick delivery, never had any problems with Lana Portlaoise regular customer. Delivery service is just awesome 👌. I can recommend to anyone who love Chinese and Thai food.

02/06/2025: We booked an area in the pub for a hen night and had a great experience overall. Thanks to Rhian who looked after us so well, bottle of bubbles on arrival and everything! The toilets were in quite a state, in need a bit of attention. Other than that we had a great night!

09/05/2025: I was in Sallys last night. Its still a nice pub don’t get me wrong. Bar staff are great. Especially the manager.but the crowd they let in are messy and ruin it for the rest of us. Also v disappointed to see karaoke dj back again. Crude comments and way to over friendly with the girls. Like I said nice pub tho

08/06/2025: I love coming to this Costa and it's probably the best coffee shop in Portlaoise. Perfect place to sit down relax and enjoy good coffee. It's almost always full of people so im not the only one who realised that. The girls are true professionals, always cheerful and attentive,and they remember your order if you are a regular, which adds such a personal touch to this place.

06/06/2025: Just left there 8.19am Friday 6th June the girl at drive through snapped the money out of my hand asked for sugar in my coffee which is never a problem they always put it in she said sugar on the side she couldn't lift anything barley able to use till as her nails were too long & she even said it to me can't do that with my nails disgraceful service never happened before

04/06/2025: This restaurant opens late, 11pm. Staff were very friendly and service was very quick. Ordered the fillet beef black bean and the veg kung po with egg fried rice. Had the spring roll and won tons to start. Food very nice, good portion size. Would revisit. The only thing I wasn't keen on and see it more and more is main course doesn't include rice/noodles in price so it is a bit pricey then for a main course. Our total for 2 was about 65, included 2 starters, main course, glass of wine and 2*fizzy drinks.

15/04/2025: This is a good swiming pool but the dressing rooms have the smell of uriln the swiming instrersrs were a bit mean to my kids but my kids liked it and idk of me and my kids are coming back here

01/05/2025: This is the only Chineese TakeAway I know that does not include boiled rice in the price of most of its main dishes and I find it very anoying ... I seldome go here now because of it.
