Myself and two friends all said the same, as for the staff chatting in the corner to each other waiting ages for a pint in an almost empty pub,then when they do decide to serve you the pint is pulled straight!, we all left half a pint or more behind us, Pj is in the game a long time now he should really have a training day for staff every now and then,

25/05/2026: Update: went here again and had a slightly different experience. Food was delicious, good value, staff were nice bar one. We had the unfortunate to deal with a tall Irish member of staff who was disinterested and short on the phone, clearly unhappy. We asked to move seats. Were told no. Not at issue. But the Irish dude gave a rude face to his coworker as if we couldn't see.
Very good food and value. Staff were polite.
Only issue is that the inside is a tad small, and part was being used for takeaways, which is okay of course. But it means the seating area was a bit limited and towards the front.
Fantastic time though. Would recommend

The Make & Mark

27/10/2025: 2 of us arrived and even though they were mad busy. The lovely staff fit us in for some food and gave us a gorgeous roast beef dinner. I'd highly recommend here for food for anyone passing or in the area.

19/11/2025: Back again!! I was here ages ago and thought it was great and couldn't get much better, but I was wrong. Loads more upgrades, new little cafe area for a cuppa and cake while you watch the kids in the soft play and take a min to yourself. We had a great time again, my 84 yr old father came for the drive with us and he sat watching us on the TV when we played the lazer tag he was amazed!! We were so well looked after love roller skating with the kids its so much fun, kids also played indoor soccer to end off a very busy day, we were there for hours. Also for anyone that thinks them arcade games never pay out ... well my 8 year old is living proof, he hit the β¬150 prize, the manager/owner came out personally to hand over the cash. He was a great sport and so good with my son. Keep up the good work all the staff are a credit to the place. See you all again soon.
