30/08/2025: What a gem. Service was just top class, friendly, fast efficient. Value for money. Toilets clean, wash basin in mens needed clean is all & maybe needs an upgrade aesthetically wise. Eggs benedict - top quality bacon 🥓 was very tasty, could be but crispier, but personal preference. Hollandaise was delicious, lemon coming through. Poached eggs perfect runny... Coffee & tea solid. Highly highly recommended 👌 #supportlocal

25/05/2026: Update: went here again and had a slightly different experience. Food was delicious, good value, staff were nice bar one. We had the unfortunate to deal with a tall Irish member of staff who was disinterested and short on the phone, clearly unhappy. We asked to move seats. Were told no. Not at issue. But the Irish dude gave a rude face to his coworker as if we couldn't see.
Very good food and value. Staff were polite.
Only issue is that the inside is a tad small, and part was being used for takeaways, which is okay of course. But it means the seating area was a bit limited and towards the front.
Fantastic time though. Would recommend

02/07/2026: Absolutely lovely staff, they take time to remember if you need anything special regarding your order and have outstanding attitudes to customers. Coffee is delicious, I'd recommend the vegan sausage roll for a quick bite and they have a loyalty program you can use each time you visit.

05/07/2026: We had a lovely meal, service was quick and friendly. I got chill chicken generous portion that I couldn’t finish so was wrapped up for me to have later on. My husband got steak which was cooked to his taste medium rare. He finished everything. Pints were 👌 we don’t have time for dessert but they looked amazing and we will definitely go back to try them.
28/06/2026: Been here twice, had Sunday lunch and then had dinner, the Rib eye steak on a rock was unbelievable, best value for money and best steak I’ve had in a very long time

Take my advice. Get a table in the Mayur restaurant. Sit in. Get some wine. Enjoy the food.

19/11/2025: Back again!! I was here ages ago and thought it was great and couldn't get much better, but I was wrong. Loads more upgrades, new little cafe area for a cuppa and cake while you watch the kids in the soft play and take a min to yourself. We had a great time again, my 84 yr old father came for the drive with us and he sat watching us on the TV when we played the lazer tag he was amazed!! We were so well looked after love roller skating with the kids its so much fun, kids also played indoor soccer to end off a very busy day, we were there for hours. Also for anyone that thinks them arcade games never pay out ... well my 8 year old is living proof, he hit the €150 prize, the manager/owner came out personally to hand over the cash. He was a great sport and so good with my son. Keep up the good work all the staff are a credit to the place. See you all again soon.

03/05/2026: Portlaoise was amazing but this pub was local clique and NOT open to visitors. Hosts put up food but locals preferred sandwiches to curl up and get stale rather than share with visitors having a few pints.
