28/09/2024: Called to pub for a drink. Nice mix of locals & visitors. Warm welcome from staff. Atmosphere very pleasant so we decided to book a table for later that evening. Arrived & promptlyshowb to our table & given a menu. Asked if we wanted drinks. I asked for wine list & waitor stood over me while i read wine menu. My husband ordered chicken stir fry & enjoyed the variety of vegetables with noodles. I ordered brie starter with salad & we shared a bottle of wine. Our experience was very pleasant. It is a very busy restaurant & staff ( who were very busy I appreciate) felt to me at times to be inclined to rush us ( for example taking our order & making enquiries about our food). I appreciate the restaurant was busy ( Tuesday evening) & staff busy but sometimes this can make me as a customer also feel a bit rushed. I prefer a more relaxed setting. Maybe not compatible with busy location

30/10/2024: Group of 7 of us went for breakfast this past weekend. Ordered a cappuccino and the rest of drinks came apart from mine. When I asked about it I was given an americano. I said that I had ordered a cappuccino and the manager laughed and said ‘ah sure that will do you, il bring you hot milk’ not wanting to cause a fuss I said ok. Two of us ordered Eggs Benedict and all 4 poached eggs were cooked solid. Poor service and food. No one finished their meals.

06/10/2024: We stayed in the Brandywell for two nights. We were celebrating my mum's 80th birthday. The hospitality was first class, the rooms and apartment were spotless and spacious, exactly what we needed for our family gathering. The food over the two days was delicious. Jo was brilliant from the moment we made the initial booking until we left. She was so kind and helpful. We highly recommend The Brandywell and will definitely be going back. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

24/10/2024: Stayed for one night as a stop over on the motorbikes. Lovely bar area with a fantastic outdoor beer garden. Food was outstanding and well priced. Derek greeted us on arrival and asked if we would like to park our motorbikes in the secure back yard. Bar was busy and had live entertainment on the Saturday evening. The rooms were clean and tidy. Would definitely return and recommend.

23/10/2024: The service was excellent from the bar staff, great for watching the football and having a decent pint. The bed and shower were 5/5 stars, but I couldn’t get the radiator to work so it was a little colder than I wanted jumping up for the toilet. Great shower, the lamps did not work well and I wish there was a little more choice for breakfast, like ham and cheese like they have for a continental breakfast.
