21/04/2025: We had a lovely meal here on Easter Saturday evening. I had the steak sandwich and my partner had the burger.
I am glad we didn’t have starters as the portions were very filling.
We were sat beside a huge open fire which was lovely After dinner we ventured to the bear garden and what a surprise it was fab and we ended up staying 4 hours.
Well done everyone of the team.
21/04/2025: Brilliant bar-restaurant with delicious meals and exceptional service. Main courses and desserts were in very generous portions and were very tasty. Would highly recommend.

11/03/2025: It was a very bad experience.The bartender is constantly cleaning the shelves and floor. The bartender is very rude and socially inept. The management is a disgrace, always chatting behind your back. The fish wife is not at all professional. The food is not consistent with quality; it is very hit and miss. Save your money and go somewhere that has a professional approach towards its customers.

01/10/2024: Had a gorgeous lunch here today. The vegetarian quiche with goats cheese, beetroot, aubergine etc., was absolutely wonderful. It was straight out of the oven and the accompanying salads were so tasty. Emma and staff are lovely too. Looking forward to many more visits.
19/09/2024: The rocky road was huge and scrumptious! Very kind and friendly staff. Can sit in or out. I plan to go back to try lunch, which looks great!

12/07/2024: Sullivans’ Country Grocer and Delicatessan became our regular “go to” shop in Oughterard during our stay for excellent fresh bread, amazing pastries, cinnamon whirls, and focaccia slices. Not forgetting the superb local strawberries and raspberries, along with fantastic local vegetables.`The quality in our view was exceptional, only surpassed by the warm and friendly staff.
10/07/2024: We stopped In today for a bottle of sparkling water, two pastries and a Carmel bar. The folks were friendly and checkout was in the next room.
