The best restaurants in Limerick

11/01/2025: Can't believe this bar is still here I'm from Killarney but worked in limerick city around the corner from this bar that was in the eighties one man ran it that time, real gentleman he used to cash our cheques every Thursday, would really love to call there again it hasn't changed since I was in there last.

14/02/2025: Dangerously aggressive delivery driver. Awaiting a call back from the restaurant about his behaviour. I would be extremely wary of getting a delivery from him again. Shame really because the lady on the phone was courteous and apologetic and the food was good

18/07/2025: 10/10 best waffles around 😍 will be back soon. The coffee and large breakfast are absolutely delicious too. We live close by so will definitely be regulars ❤️

14/07/2025: We are fans of this local cafe. The food is always consistent and staff are always on the mark and there is always a pleasant smile and walm welcome awaits. We try to visit here anytime we are in the area and suggest this cafe to our clients who visit Rosslare area.

18/05/2024: Stale food curry which are overpriced. We went there for a dinner with our family in Dooradoyle King Palace Limerick last night. It smell decay we left curry without eat. Horrible

25/08/2025: It used to be nice, but really gone downhill..asked for BBQ rib and got a bbq rib cut in half covered in bbq sauce and onions in a white roll..burger was horrible felt sick after trying to eat it had to throw it away

18/07/2024: I ordered a Nutella and Strawberries crepes and it was delicious. Service very good.

15/10/2025: Located inside Hotel Strand, The River Restaurant and Bar has probably the best selection of breakfast items. It is open for lunch, tea and dinner as well. A variety of hot and cold breakfast items comprise of scrambled eggs, sautéed mushrooms, potatoes, tomatoes, baked beans, sausages, bacon, fresh yogurt, cut fruits, flavored yogurt, fresh fruit such as oranges, apples and bananas, two types of smoothies, porridge, variety of toppings, dry cereals, milk, variety of breads, pancakes, waffles, croissants, muffins and fresh fruit juices. It has a coffee machine with variety of coffee drinks you can pour on your own as well as hot tea selections that you can make a pot of. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Food tastes very good. A great way to start your day with a scrumptious breakfast!!!

28/08/2025: I couldn't find a server. I kept having to get up and track them down to order and then deliver food.

10/11/2025: Nice place fo ra coffee. Pricing is reasonabale and staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is bright, airy, spacious.

17/04/2025: This is a wonderful place to have a chat and the food was delicious the guy who severed us was really welcoming we will be back
