The best restaurants in Limerick

10/03/2024: We stopped in for lunch, drawn by the delicious smells coming from the restaurant. Food was lovely. We had Cajun chicken salad and Southern fried chicken sandwich. Generous portions and very tasty. Star of the meal was the yummy homemade cinnamon roll. Scrumptious!!

01/01/2024: I loved the food but my bf had exact opposite opinion unfortunately. I ordered chicken platter which was full & super tasty. His was goatie sandwich. He was not a fan of either. Different taste pallets ;)

24/02/2024: I look forward to their almond and chocolate pain au chocolate every time I come home to Limerick. Have yet to find one anywhere else as good as these in sunflower bakery 🌻

27/03/2024: Amazing staff and very welcoming cafe. Got served by two staff members Lauren and Adam, they very professional and efficient. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend👍🏻

05/04/2024: Great Hotel ! Could not fault it at all.

30/03/2024: The hotel is well equipped (although without a minibar) and the facilities are well maintained. The reception staff are very friendly. You have free parking and the Irish breakfast is very good. The worst thing may be the location, since it is quite far from the center.

31/03/2024: An expensive disappointment of a Hotel. Retraining of some staff is required especially Rafiq, whom i found aggressively rude, bar staff are lazy and not efficient, breakfast service was not good, wait on certain items left others on plate cold, communication between staff and customers very poor, this is in my opinion a poorly run 4 star hotel, but 4 star hotel it definitely is not, I've stayed in better B&Bs than this and would recommend the same to others who are planning a stay in Limerick. I could say more negative things about the room but won't but I will say with better management and more helpful and enthusiastic staff this could be a gem of a hotel!

30/03/2024: Great value. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast is phenomenal.

03/04/2024: The service was great, very nice atmosphere, but the food was not that bad, but it lacked such a distinct flavor and, above all, the pasta was drained badly and the water mixed with the sauce, which resulted in dilution of the whole thing and the consistency was simply poor.

02/12/2023: Was in Fika today to get a coffee with my friend, we ordered two Americanos and some little chocolate dessert - we were so excited to come here as we heard great things about the place and their coffee, and it’s Saturday we’re all off work and just enjoying the day. We sit outside (mind you, we are the only ones out) as it’s cold and raining. My other friend joins us and sits down. The barista lady comes out with our order, puts them on the table, turns to my friend and says - Sorry will you be ordering a coffee? Because if you’re not you can’t sit out here……..(long pause) and I quote “But I am willing to make an exception this time!”. We were all completely flabbergasted by the hight of rudeness and her tone towards us. She went back in and we just sat there looking at each other thinking - did this really happen??? As a small business owner and someone who works with people on the daily, all of us at that table have worked in the catering industry and coffee shops before. But none of us have ever talked to a customer in that tone before. When I confronted the barista lady about her tone and her rudeness her response was that “I didn’t say that” and “we are an independent business”. I guess that’s a good enough excuse to treat people in this way. We felt so uncomfortable that there is no way we were gonna stay there. I went in to get my takeaway cup and GET THE “FIKA” OUT OF THERE!!

10/10/2023: Their fried rice didn't settle well with my stomach the second day I ate it, but all was OK the first day

02/03/2024: It's disgusting!!! Terrible staff and about wearing to clients. We arrived with the company, parked the car near the bar, went to the bar, ordered drinks, two people came out to pick up the phone in the car, the security warned that we were for a minute. We were out for 30 seconds, he didn't let us back in, he closed the doors and said they were already closed. We were completely sober. Inside the establishment there was a part of our company, in the end we had to leave the drinks and leave them all.

17/02/2024: Great pint. Lovely bar staff.Very busy on the weekend and match days.

18/03/2024: One of the best Italian restraunants in Ireland in my words. I got a pizza which was superb. A must try in my words. The vibe inside was very nice and the staff were happy and helpful. I felt like it was trip to Italy and it was like something you get in an Italian restaurant in Italy.
