The best restaurants in Limerick

03/09/2024: A perfect experience! The distinguished decor, the exceptional service as attentive as it is efficient, the quality of the dishes and the freshness of the food, the refined and elegant yet dynamic atmosphere, contribute to a truly sublime experience. Having taken the time to read the less good reviews, perhaps the people who wrote them should have traveled more and had a better budget to be more objective in their evaluation of this place.

27/08/2024: I wanted to have seafood and Cornstore seemed to be a good choice based on reviews. The portions were small so I had calamari, mussels and oysters. They were nicely done. My husband had the surf & turf but commented that it was too much turf, very little surf. We had desserts, too but I made the wrong choice by ordering the three chocolate cookie. It was too sweet for my taste. I am not a cookie person. Perhaps that's why I found it to be too sweet.

08/09/2024: Great pub with an even better atmosphere. It was very busy on a Saturday night but was able to find a table and get some food. The stew was excellent. Would highly recommend this place

11/09/2024: Dolan's is magic. Everywhere you look there's a bar. Fabulous beer garden with a glass roof. No delay in getting served. Friendly staff from the doormen to the bar staff. 5 star all the way.

14/08/2024: Very nicely presented bar clean and freshly furnished. Food was beautifully cooked the nicest pizza iv had in a while, very kind helpful staff.

03/08/2024: This place is amazing, highly recomend the Brie and caramelised onion pizza. Siracha mayo dip is out of this world.

09/09/2024: Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the food. It looked too good and we gobbled it all. There is a lot to like about this restaurant. It is just a mix of different chicken or meat dishes but everything that they do they do very well. Plus the cater for gluten-free which is always an added benefit. As a starter we ordered a big plate of chicken wings with barbecue sauce and a plate of ribs. This was more than enough for a family of four. The blue cheese dipping sauce with the Wings was really good. For the main course I got their bacon cheeseburger with the side of chicken gravy which I dipped the burger in as I ate it to create a very decadent experience. My kids both had the chicken fajitas and a side of mac and cheese which they thoroughly enjoyed. The mac and cheese side dish was big enough to be an entree on its own. Would definitely love to come here again.

30/08/2024: By and far my favourite spot to drink I found in all of Ireland. That atmosphere was super friendly, the hosts were great and the wheat beer was perfect. Very glad I decided on one more stop the night I found this place

26/08/2024: Reading some of the reviews, it seems like a different place. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, 2 staff, a lovely girl who served us & a guy who I presume was the chef. We ordered 3 ciabattas & chips & 2 coffees. The special ciabatta had a skim of goats cheese, 3 tiny squares of yellow pepper & a full piece of sun-dried tomato in one chunk. There was no crushed garlic oil or chilli sauce as per the menu, just the oil from the sun-dried tomato & unfortunately the side salad was limp & inedible. The skinny chips were hot, as was the coffee & the service was good. 2 things turned us off straight away, we were given milk left over from another couple's table in front of us & the vinegar that was brought out was dirty around the top with a dead fruit fly inside. Aside from this, I wouldn't recommend it as the food was substandard & not worth the money unfortunately. Maybe there are different staff on for Sundays but the general feel of the place was lackluster.

10/09/2024: Very nice atmosphere and wibe, service and staff was fantastic, absolutely love it, I can comfortably say my best fish and chips ever ( I don't always go for fish and chips as far as recommend it or best reviewed places)

03/08/2024: There were many options for drinks, and very good prices. My friend and I were in there by ourselves for at least half an hour and had a wonderful conversation with the bartender. I would certainly come back if I'm in Limerick again.

10/08/2024: One of my favorite places in Limerick! I’m a huge fan of their chai latte, but this time I ordered a latte because I believe happiness lies in simplicity. I paired it with a brownie—something I don’t usually choose, but the person who served me kindly recommended it after noticing my indecision while eyeing other options. I ended up enjoying my stay along with a good read. I recommend this place 100%—very cozy atmosphere and attentive staff.
