27/07/2026: We came today for a meal and the place did not disappoint. The food was lovely but the waitress and waiter they need to be hugged for how welcoming they were ! We came with our son who had bad humor at the begining but they did everything to make the meal and our time lovely . Honestly in a long time I haven’t experienced such a lovely service. Thank you so much for being sooo kind and so good to us . Definitely will come back !

19/08/2026: Very overpriced bar snacks We had the tiny portion of Calamari which was served on a bed of salad leaves to mask quantity Almost needed a magnifing glass honestly and about £12 … same for wines . Crazy prices we thought

11/08/2026: The Most Magnificent Wedding Reception Venue and Team! From the get-go, Laura was absolutely amazing. She handled all of our unconventional requests with the utmost consideration, and you could truly tell how much she wanted us to have the most magnificent day- and we did! All of our guests were completely enamored with the venue, the incredible food, the wonderful staff, and the overall atmosphere. From our drinks reception out in the garden to the wedding breakfast and hitting the dance floor, every single moment of the day was amazing. We already love coming here for dinner because it truly feels like a family and the best local spot to make you feel right at home, but having our wedding reception here made it even more special. We couldn't be happier with our choice and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Frederick's to anyone looking to host an unforgettable event!

08/05/2026: Lovely Irish Country Inn, really homely and traditional. Fantastic food, so tasty with nice little extra touches.... the food is only surpassed by the brilliantly tentative staff, they couldn't be any better! 👏👏 I have dined here twice and fully intend to return. ☺️

06/06/2026: Called in here passing through Ballymahon and it didn’t disappoint. We spoke to the owner’s son who was really friendly and let us order off the dinner menu early so we could try their steak. I had the ribeye and it was top notch, excellent quality and cooked perfectly. The whole dish was great, and the Guinness was right up there too. Highly recommend.

29/05/2026: Great option if you are on holidays in Centerparcs and fancy some real food, 5 minutes from the forest, great steaks, good kids menu and overall just a friendly place.

06/06/2026: Chocolate Heaven with a Lovely Lunch Twist! Torc Longford is definitely a must-visit for chocolate lovers,their chocolate treats are irresistible. But don’t skip the lunch menu! The chicken and mushroom pie, is a winner, packed with filling, rich, and creamy. One tiny downside: the seats are closely packed. You’ll enjoy your meal… until someone at the next table starts sharing their entire life story. Yep, you’ll know everything about them before you leave (even if you’d rather not 😉). Bottom line: Great food, amazing chocolate, and a cozy (if slightly snug) atmosphere. Bring a chocolate-loving friend and enjoy the pie!

02/08/2026: I had Bruschetta with Parma ham and fig. The bread was like plain toast. Spaghetti Bolognese was terrible and I could not see any meat in the bad, salty sauce. My husband had tagattelli with chicken and mushroom it was left behind. I feel so sad , I had high hopes. The waitress was the only saving grace . The service was excellent.

10/06/2026: Stopped off for coffee on way to Dublin. Great coffee and a delicious almond and raspberry bun.

17/05/2026: Fantastic coffee and Turkish Delight. Would highly recommend if looking for a coffee before hopping on the train.
