The best restaurants in Longford

07/01/2025: if I could give 2.5 out of 5 I would went over Christmas, GF felt sick the next day. (steak sandwich) staff weren't busy and kinda unfriendly, I understand it is busy season, but if you don't like working in a pub then very simply don't work there. even none busy days they are rushing you off the table. hope this review helps you improve, it could also do with a complete revamp on inside

25/12/2024: Just had Christmas dinner here again. Excellent dinner service 100%,very attentive polite and always with smiles made feel very welcome. Will most definitely be back again . Well done all the staff happy Christmas and very happy new year 🎉

20/11/2024: Nice, cozy little spot I stopped into between job interviews. Matti (hopefully spelled that right) was very hospitable and friendly, had a good long chat with him, and he makes an excellent latte. Tasty cheese toasties and cake too. 👍🏽

11/01/2025: High marks all round for this elegant yet relaxed restaurant; the scallops were cooked just right, and the tartiflette that accompanied the chargrilled beef fillet was positively ambrosial. Service was perfect too.

03/12/2024: I don't even know where to start with this, I was in your store today and I witnessed what can only be described as Bullying by a senior female member of staff/management on a young female member of your staff she told the young girl come with me NOW in a real unprofessional manner to the exit at the side of the building by the toilets. I had walked outside and was waiting by the door. The way the senior female member spoke to her was horrible, I over her the senior member saying you walk around talking your own language we don't do that here. The poor girl stated to cry it was utterly shameful behaviour and a man who was in the toilet also came out and said the same that poor girl is only 17 and is probably only building up her self confidence. I wouldn't be surprised if the girl took litigation. I have contacted you head office in Galway and to HR and will be following up with an email. Shameful Carry on I won't be back.

27/10/2024: Stopped here on route home from Dublin. Faultless. Great food and such lovely friendly service. 2 adults and 2 kids. All delighted and full afterwards. We had a real mix of food. It was gorgeous. Big portions. We will definitely be making the detour through Longford again.

05/11/2024: Prices are too high. It's better to go somewhere else, because you can eat cheaper and even tastier.There were free tables, but I had to wait at the entrance to long, until the waiter seated us. Besides, the place is nice.
