09/10/2025: Rustic Inn sure has that good ambience with bar, eatery etc. You can have events here too but you must book early as it is in high demand. Free parking is available around and lots of access to nearby route.

15/11/2025: Received a £100 voucher with our new home in the area..what a fantastic surprise we had for lunch! What a nice place, big open and airy dining room. A good breadth of different cuisines and options from wine and starters all the way through to deserts. It’s not the most creative or daring menu but it’s an excellent option where anyone would be able to find something they like on the menu. We had: Courgette flower - 7/10 (salad need more texture/dressing) Scallops - 7/10 (cauliflower rice is not a good pairing, makes the whole thing a little cold and watery but other accompaniments were tasty) Monkfish - 7/10 (needs some kind of butter sauce/hollandaise-type thing. Was a little lacking in warmth and fattiness for a rounded dish) Duck - 8/10(our favourite savoury dish, good variation of textures. Just could do with a little more of the jus and could have been a little warmer) Tiramisu - 9/10 Banana cheesecake - 10/10 (favourite overall dish, texture, flavour..all spot on !!) As you can see most dishes were well above average but this place for me wasn’t one of those restaurants that’s all about the food. As an experience it was lovely. Hacin and Jason served us and had absolutely impeccable timing and manor about them. Smiled, poured drinks at the right time, took plates at the right time and gave great recommendations. I hope the management here are proud and look after their staff as they were all lovely, warm and welcoming. A professional, warm and relaxed feeling vibe to this one I will hopefully revisit.

15/10/2025: Wonderful little find in Lanesborough! This Italian restaurant is run by an Italian family and they make you feel welcome the minute you walk in the door. The decor is clean and warm, the menu has nice choices, and the food was delicious. Cooked perfectly. Prices are very reasonable also. Will definitely call in here again to eat.

02/08/2025: A gorgeous little cafe with a beautiful aesthetic and funky atmosphere. The staff were lovely and friendly, serving delicious coffee and an array of amazing looking cakes and pastries. Stop in and grab a takeaway hot drink and treat, or take 5 and rest your feet. Highly recommended. But I was a bit confused about this location on maps and Mudshot cafe. Are you the same place??

13/07/2025: I ordered an iced latte and the waitress told me that they don't have more ice but then she started to do all the drinks with ice, I was very disappointed.

25/10/2025: Firstly, I have uploaded the latest menu - because some old ones are still listed on Google mentioning pizzas and all. It’s a good restaurant at the heart of the city - very well located and easily accessible. Definitely a very popular place among the locals. The staff was very courteous and nice - both the ladies were amazing and kind 😊🙏 My only slight disappointment was the quality of food. It was all made fresh but it was not as good. Especially if I look at the price, I didn’t feel it to be value for money. Like the pasta and sandwich both didn’t feel very good. Pasta had too much sauce in it (probably the one you get over the shelf in a Tesco/Dunnes) and the sandwich was also very basic … So that was my only disappointment. Maybe my experience was one off as they have very good reviews from others. I do hope some more variety and taste gets added 🙌

22/07/2025: Recently ordered party food to cater for 60/70 people. Food was roasting hot and was a big hit. Prices very reasonable i have to say and food was amazing. Would definitely order for party again.

27/09/2025: Recently stayed in Skelly's for 2 nights with our French Bulldog. We were made feel very welcome by Pat, Séamas and the wonderful staff, nothing was a problem and they couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. As dog owners Skellys was ideal for us they have dog friendly rooms and there are lovely walks nearby on the river and on the canal. We were able to have the dog with us in the pub at all times and everybody was very friendly. We had a meal there on both nights, I had stir fried prawns on the first night and a steak sandwich on the second, both were delicious and they have a lovely wine menu to choose from. We also had breakfast and lunch which were very tasty. Big thank you to Pat, Seámas, and all the family and staff we will definitely be back 🐾🐾❤️
