13/04/2025: We reserved a table for dinner with family members who had travelled from abroad to visit. First time in the restaurant and would definitely go back for the friendly service and good food but the upstairs dining room urgently needs something done to solve the terrible acoustics. Good food, great service but halfway through our meal an animated group arrived at the table beside us. It was so noisy that we skipped dessert and coffee and had to cut the evening short. The upstairs dining room badly needs some measures to absorb the VERY loud echo and improve the acoustics- curtains, rugs, sound-absorbing wall panels, whatever.

12/04/2025: We stopped for lunch after a walk and couldn't believe the food. Highly recommend!

02/03/2025: They don’t really know how to make croissants 🥐 whenever I think of a croissant (coming from Spain) is that buttery flakey pastry that is sweet and melts in your mouth. Whatever I had in there was some thick dry bread tasting feeling thing. It should not be called a croissant. It may have a similar shape to it but that’s about it. It was dry and horrible. Overpriced as well.

28/02/2025: The best French Toast you will ever....ever have. This is an absolute gem. We'd drive out of our way to come here the next time we visit Ireland. Perfect place to start the day.

02/05/2025: I love the southern style chicken box with the oreo milkshake! Last time it was emptier, less saucy, etc and the service was slow with two staff members, but Gabriela (I might spell it wrong) made my order perfectly (super saucy and cheesy), was super nice and offered great fast service. :D

26/04/2025: Assistant didn't listen, talks too fast, poor communication, food nothing to write home about and expensive for what you get.

19/04/2025: 1st time went there and last time...waitress was rude from begining..food for lunch was terrible...i had steak sandwich,the meat was gone off and oily...bolognese was so bad..overcooked pasta mince was old and bad salty.. pieces of veg too big no tomato souce anywhere..my stomach got sick...ill rather eat grass in the field then go back there...

18/04/2025: Got married here and we stayed in the boyne house. Boyne house was unreal, rooms are massive and beds are really comfortable. Huge dining area where we had food brought over by the hotel. Food was so nice and the service was brilliant. Day of the wedding the hotel staff were unbelievable, from the floor staff to the bar staff. Special shout out to the unbelievable Tracy who was so helpful throughout. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a venue for a wedding. You will be in great hands with Tracy.

23/02/2025: Just wow!! One of nicest pizzas and kebabs we have ever tried!!

09/12/2024: Very disappointed. No longer any semblance of an Irish chipper. Chips weren't fresh. Come on guy, bad chips?? Cheeseburger was tiny, bland and over-priced at €4.50. The 4-in-1 was under sized, relatively tasteless and dry because there wasn't enough sause included to bind the other ingredients together.....and it cost €8! Bill came to €16.50 for those 3 basic items. Now I understand the name....my cheeseburger was consumed with one "Big Bite". Needless to say, I won't be spending my money there again.
