09/06/2025: Visited this stunning restaurant for the first time ever at the weekend, shameful I left it so long considering am only a few villages away. Firstly the moment we walked in the door you have the pizza stove to your left and the lads making cocktails and drinks and there is the nicest smiling lady greeting you and taking you to your table, the decor, service, food, atmosphere was just top class, a credit to them all. Just booked to come back.

08/06/2025: Very dissatisfied ordered our drinks took ages to get them and plonked the half bottle of wine in front of my wife and not even bother to open the bottle then we ordered a soup to share and it was luke warm . The main course was slow cooked Beef and came with sides and when our main course came then to be told they had run out of veg and potatoes as they put our main course in front of us . 😒 The gravy was thick and tacky All we could get for sides was fries with parmason which was barely a sprinkle . Won't be back Sadly

19/06/2025: Fabulous breakfast- recommend the Builder’s Breakfast for the full Irish breakfast. Cappuccinos and lattes were beautiful!

19/06/2025: Nice place to stop for lunch. Tasty food, reasonably priced, friendly staff and a clean premises. There was a few tourists in which added a nice buzz. Not a massive menu but options to suit most.

08/06/2025: Couldn't recommend highly enough. Gorgeous fresh cream sponge cake made for my mum's birthday. Absolutely delicious, and the staff were good enough to drop it to the restaurant next door where we were having dinner.

07/06/2025: We had soup and sandwiches. Sandwiches were substandard, cheap bread, and tasteless fillings. Soup was vegetable soup and was bland and thick with bits of soft bread floating in it. Certainly, they were not croutons. Cups were mismatched and not the cleanest. Staff were helpful.

28/06/2025: Only stopped for petrol and the toilet which was round the back.

22/06/2025: The chips were green in colour and the cod portion was under cooked very disappointed after paying 26 euro for two fish and chips overpriced bad quality food! Stay away!

Conyngham Arms Hotel

20/06/2025: This was a great boutique hotel not far from Newgrange. Our room had a double bed and a trundle bed for my kids (a raised single bed with a mattress under it that could be pulled out). Breakfast was delicious & you had several options to choose from. Dinner was also very good, but you should make a reservation if you know you’re going to be eating there. There is a nice lounge area where you can go to work or enjoy a beverage of choice. The hotel is NOT handicapped accessible.

15/06/2025: Was at a wedding here with 100 guests it's an old building in the middle of town , staff were very friendly and handled the whole event very well

10/06/2025: WE HAD TAKE AWAY....CHICKEN TIKKA WRAPS AND VEG WRAP. THE CHICKEN TIKKA WRAP WAS JUICY,TANGY AND VERY TASTY. VEG WRAP WAS ALSO GOOD THOUGH CAN BE LITTLE MORE CHATPATA.GARLIC BREAD COULD HAVE MORE GARLIC FOR ENHANCED FLAVOUR.GOOD JOINT.

09/06/2025: Sorry to say....They gave us Chicken kebab... They gave a chicken patty of burger in pita bread and took 14 euros just for naan and chicken patty and lettuce and mayo only.. this is ridiculous..
