15/12/2024: Christmas work party. Great night, delicious fingerfood, prompt bar service. Very busy pub but well able to handle the crowd. Staff were courteous. Live music followed by a D J. Lively fun night.

Platterbylu - Café and Artisan Pantry

08/12/2024: My husband and I visit Platter by Lu daily when we are in Trim visiting family. We’re from New York City and love coffee so we were so happy to find a place that does it so well. I also love their cheese selection! Highly recommend!

04/12/2024: Popped in here today with some friends from work for lunch. Had the Holly Jolly Christmas toastie, which came with a little pot of gravy and was delish. The Americano was also lovely and the staff were very friendly. We were all impressed with the food and service and have vowed to return soon. Would recommend.

02/01/2025: I can’t thank this restaurant enough for going over and beyond this evening and for their kindness and generosity by the staff and the lovely lady owner. We had brought a service user and she received her meal, coffee and tea for free! Thank you so much again for a wonderful evening. A very happy new year to you all 🥳 we will definitely be returning. Food was delicious too 😊

29/12/2024: Had a Christmas celebration dinner with my 2 sisters & their husbands. The restaurant was cold, I ordered a chicken curry. Which arrived without the chicken & I could still see the curry powder floating in the sauce. The others were not to happy with their food. Unfortunately no one wanted to complain as we were supposed to be having fun. We won't be returning. The young waitress was very pleasant & attentive.

13/12/2024: I regularly get takeaway food from Khan Spices and it’s always 10/10. The vegetarian options are gorgeous & the food never disappoints. The staff are always very welcoming when you go in whether it be for a takeaway or dinner!

24/09/2024: We tried two routes - shorter and the longer one - both excellent. There's changing rooms on site, and you can take a shower afterwards if you want to. You're always with an experienced kayaker, and you get a bit of training before. Kids loved it, and they really enjoyed all the extra activities, also falling into the water! Highly recommended.
