14/02/2026: Will never be back. Horrible service. It was valentines day and we were treated terribly. Table was beside a heater (better off stay at home), table was wonky (apparently the table was "in demand") , chips were freezing and placed beside a table of kids on valentines. When said all this to management they laughed it off with arrogamce and were so rude. My girlfriend then asked for her receipt she was treated horribly after we had complained. Will never ever be back

07/02/2026: Fantastic experience from start to finish . We arrived without a booking and the staff made us feel so welcome . Food just fit the spot . . Lovely experience from start to finish.

07/07/2025: Great spot in trim town centre. Very small front of house then opens up into very modern well decorated seating area at the back with 2 seperate rooms with bars for seperate rental. We visited on a Sunday. Was quiet but we stayed for several hours. Good service and great surroundings. We stayed at trim castle hotel which is 5 min walk from here. We will 100% be back. Maybe on a fri or sat next time

25/10/2025: I've passed through Trim quite literally hundreds of times and never knew of the existence of The Coffee Works. It was just a fiat white and a scone, but it was a good flat white and a good scone. I'll be back.

13/10/2025: We grabbed a late lunch at Sally Roger’s two weeks ago and my husband is still talking about the stew! And my soup and ham and cheese toastie was amazing! We had a great experience here. Came in for a late lunch. Found a table easily and drinks and food were quick. Even though the server apologized for the wait! The food was so good and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. AND they print fun sayings on our Guinness pints! HIGHLY recommend to anyone in Trim!

03/11/2025: Amazing people, they breakfast baps are now legendary among viking reenactement community

03/11/2025: Had to organise breakfasts for the Celtic reenactors for the Púca festival for 4days and Rosemary were so accommodating! Needed 40 baps every morning and they went above and beyond for us, especially regarding dietary requirements! Tastiest breakfast baps ever. Every single person was raving about how amazing they were. Would highly recommend. Can honestly say they'll be getting our business for years to come!

29/12/2025: We waited more than 20 minutes for two cappucinos. The four girls and guys in the truck were spending more time flirting with each other than making coffees.

03/01/2026: Last time we were in Flambé the menu was different. This time there was a very strong Italian influence to the menu but all the meat favourites were still there. We had the bruschetta and calamari for starters both were delicious and plentiful. For mains we had the aribiatta and the risotto with chicken. Both excellent. The aribiatta is spicy spicy but I like that. The cocktails were gorgeous very modern and up to date, all evening the cocktail shaker was going. Staff were excellent and it was busy but they were great. I highly recommend flambé David and Kabhir

02/01/2026: Arrived 17.00 for last dinner with family after lovely holiday. on entering heard one female (owner) giving strong feedback to employee. Very unprofessional. As customers we didn’t need to hear this. It continued. I was about to walk out. There was just 2 tables occupied. I work in the trade but I would never expect my management to deliver feed back in this manner. Because there was one child at our table and she was very hungry I stayed. We spent 400 euros on our bill but I must say the waiter/waitress that served us turned the situation around - she was above and beyond. If this owner treats her staff like this she wont be in business for much longer as I have seen many times. Won’t be back.

06/09/2025: Fantastic kayaking trip on the Boyne River. Two wonderful hours of nature on the calm waters of the river, accompanied by countless bird species, fish, and so much tranquility. Thank you, James!

31/10/2025: We had a beautiful lunch in Kenny & Co. Food was very tasty & coffee was delicious! We then treated ourselves to some cookies that were unreal. Highly recommend this lovely spot

22/10/2025: Delicious fresh ingredients, so nice about dietary requirements and lovely, friendly staff. Big shout out to the leek and potato soup.
