10/08/2025: Dinner for a family gathering, everyone absolutely loved it. I rarely get my steak rare/blue as I like it and they did exactly what I was hoping for. Non meat dishes were lovely too and gorgeous sides. Will definitely go again to try also starters and desserts

08/08/2025: After visiting Trim Castle I wanted to sit outside and Google Maps came up with this place. I went for seabass with honey roast vegetables, a lemon caper beurre blanc sauce, and mash. It was perfect; I'm not a big fan of fish, primarily because it often tastes bland or way too salty, one or the other (this has probably to do with the fact that in the vast majority of Irish restaurants fish is not particularly fresh). Not so here: it was perfect. The seabass was yummy; delicate, fresh, and not too salty but nicely spiced. Everything was lovely, the sauce too. I don't eat sweets at all, but I thought this one day I will and I went for Anna Pavlova, named after one of the dancing partners of the legendary ballet dancer Vaslav Nijinsky, who created choreography for masterpieces such as "Rite of Spring" and "Jeux", and whose half-tragic, half-comic diary I'm currently listening on my work commutes. Pavlova was gorgeous too, and not too sweet either. Last but not least, I would like to give a shout out to a lovely couple who attended to my dining needs - this is service as it should be: warm and prompt but unobtrusive. I was joking that I should be coming to them from Dublin for my lunch breaks to find this kind of peace.

20/07/2025: Amazing cafe with a friendly atmosphere. Excellent coffee and delicious food. But above all, nice and helpful service. We appreciate the great gesture when the terminal stopped working, we got food with the words that they were inviting us. After the meal, we got some euros and of course paid the bill. However, their nice behavior pleased us. We recommend visiting the cafe.

04/07/2025: Excellent, soup was amazing and toasty was perfect. Cappuccino was great, it was easily the best soup I've had in years.

07/07/2025: Great spot in trim town centre. Very small front of house then opens up into very modern well decorated seating area at the back with 2 seperate rooms with bars for seperate rental. We visited on a Sunday. Was quiet but we stayed for several hours. Good service and great surroundings. We stayed at trim castle hotel which is 5 min walk from here. We will 100% be back. Maybe on a fri or sat next time

23/06/2025: I recommend it very much, sandwiches are great, coffee is pretty good, sometimes it is not as good. I guess it depends on who makes it. I would suggest the owner to make sure employees have proper training to make good quality coffee. Some days I simply love, other days, I wonder why I was there, not the other places I too like. Anyway, after their renovation, it gave another special touch to the place it seems. I keep coming back hoping that on the day I'm there, my coffee will taste that good :) Having a really good coffee preparation that stands out, will certainly win you a regular, not only for the coffee, for everything else, rather than I quick take away coffee :)

26/07/2025: Just had a brilliant time kayaking on the Boyne river in a big group with really fun instructors. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out! They thought of every detail and managed to teach all of us (with varying abilities!) to successfully paddle our way down the river with many laughs along the way! Thanks🙏

15/09/2025: myself and my partner went in over the weekend, had an absolutely fabulous meal and beautiful cocktails😊the waitresses were fantastic couldn’t have asked for better service. Highly recommend giving it a try. Only fault i could give is the music is slightly loud but other than that the place is wonderful

02/08/2025: When I get food for take away after a long day at work,that is not what I expect to find while eating. Lost my apetite after that. Although the service was nice I will not be back there again.

19/07/2025: Great food , great service can't fault this place it's a regular takeaway in our house. You can also eat in as well. My husband loves the pizza's the dough is next level. 💜

21/08/2025: We had a reservation for 8:00 p.m., but arrived half an hour early. It wasn't a problem, though. We had Chicken Tikka Masala and Khan's Special Curry. We also had Khan's Special Rice and Garlic Naan. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. We were pleased that the chef personally greeted and said goodbye to us.

28/08/2025: I travel from Dubai to Roscommon at least twice a year and I take a detour by Trim to have Pascal’s smoked cod. Remind’s me of my childhood in Trim. My brother has come from New York and the first stop is the Castle Chipper.

21/08/2025: So, the fish and chips here was pretty amazing. Just good, hole-in-the-wall greasy, fresh-battered cod and ample greasy chips. Yum. People there were friendly, but you have to pay extra for condiments, then we didn't actually get them, and they don't really do vinegar in Ireland (that's a British thing), but we didn't get tartar sauce either. Then I couldn't get their attention. Food was tasty, though.

26/05/2025: I recently popped in for a quick treat and was greeted by the warmest atmosphere ever. The girl at the till had the friendliest and kindest energy, being served by her was a treat. I would recommend this to anyone in Trim, what a lovely establishment!
