Salsa Authentic Mexican Food & Bar

Dublin
03/02/2026: I love tacos here but they are very expensive, The tacos are authentic Mexican flavor, I have been trying different restaurants and this one is my top 1 only for birria tacos, I wish they could serve more soup, they only give a little bit of it and the price is very high. Staff is a bit rude, tables are very close and space is too small
26/01/2026: We ate there twice, and both times it was yummy and flavorful :) The consomé is great and tacos filling !

El Grito

Dublin
24/01/2026: Read great reviews about this place so figured we’d give it a go! The restaurant looks amazing, the decoration is fantastic and there is a great buzz about the place. Unfortunately, the service is genuinely appalling. Our drink order was taken wrong, and a €12 cocktail was delivered instead of a €6 beer. When we disputed this, we were told that’s what we had ordered and no effort was made to rectify the mistake. The food was OK, not the best Mexican food I’ve had but better than Taco Bell! Unfortunately we weren’t given cutlery to eat our meal with, perhaps spooning guacamole with a wooden skewer/flag is part of the experience? TLDR, food ok, cool restaurant, bad service.
18/01/2026: Great ambiance, amazing food and quality service. Spicy margarita was tasty Beef Barbacoa chimichanga was perfect

Acapulco

Dublin
02/02/2026: This spot is a solid choice for a low-key night out, even if the kitchen doesn't quite steal the spotlight. While the food is okay—reliable enough for a casual meal but not particularly standout—the rest of the experience more than makes up for it. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the chill atmosphere paired with a great playlist makes it a perfect place to unwind. Most importantly, the margaritas are fantastic and easily the highlight of the visit
25/01/2026: We came in just before close anf they still served us, wow the food was amazing, gluten free, tasty and they didn't have a problem with me being fussy. The staff were amazing the food was top notch and we cannot wait to come back. 👌

Dublin
09/01/2026: I was disappointed overall. The staff were lovely, but the food was underwhelming. We tried the tuna taco, however the tuna was cut very thick and ended up overpowering the dish. The pork belly was too salty, and the salad it came with was also over-seasoned. On a positive note, the prawn tempura was good, as were the frozen margaritas.
01/01/2026: AMAZING FOOD, AMAZING COCKTAILS! Some are not for the faint hearted, aka if you love heat, you will love the cocktails! Had 4 courses for £100 with drinks but wow, will be recommending to everyone when we come back to Dublin.

Pablo Picante

Dublin
22/01/2026: Don't let the interior put you off. It's basic but the food is delicious. I would recommend the El Classico burrito with steak, which was good quality. The margarita is good as well
18/01/2026: Incredible. Great vegetarian options - my partner described her’s as the best vegetarian burrito she’s had in her life.

Stephen's Green Food Village

Dublin
19/01/2026: Fantastic design of this shopping centre like the famous show centre in Paris. Nice little kiosks and friendly atmosphere.
18/01/2026: I visited Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre and I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, the shopping center is beautifully situated right at the top of the famous Grafton Street, and it impresses with its light-filled glass roof and the genuinely appealing architecture inside. The atmosphere feels open and bright, and it's a great place to stop for a break while browsing. The selection of shops is decent. There are many well-known brands, basics like Boots and Dunnes stores, and also some smaller Irish shops where you can find nice souvenirs or clothing. The food court also offers enough options for a snack or a coffee break. But honestly, I found the layout somewhat impractical. Some areas seem empty or underutilized, and the layout isn't always intuitive, so it's easy to get a little lost. The upper floors, in particular, sometimes feel like dead zones and not as lively as expected. Some visitors I've read describe the center as somewhat confusing and not entirely up-to-date, which I can partly understand. It can also get quite crowded, especially on weekends, which makes visiting a bit stressful. Overall, I'd recommend Stephen's Green Shopping Centre if you're in the mood for shopping and a short break and want to enjoy its central location, but it's not a must-see, more of a convenient stop while exploring Dublin.

Food For Thought

Dublin
19/10/2025: Great Service and price. Vegetarian, vegan and glutenfree friendly. Would recommend if you are looking for an affordable lunch or breakfast menu.
04/10/2025: Great place for some good light lunch bites, friendly staff, fairly cheap, buzzing atmosphere, food was delicious and quite varied in the range of menu items. I'd definitely recommend a trip in here if you fancy a coffee and a chat or a light bite. I'll be returning.

Boojum

Dublin
20/01/2026: Honestly my biggest gripe was with the size of the burrito, it was rather small. Also, quite bland ? I am used to burritos having a variety of flavors, while here I could mostly taste just the sauce. Weak flavor of rice, beans, meat etc.
07/01/2026: You have to care about your costumer....no just you wrap a burrito in 10 mins and leave people on the queue waiting because you have no experience in what you do...we don't have to pay for your laziness!!

Boojum

Dublin
16/12/2025: Used to eat here every week when I was renting around the area, and Boojum on Mespil Road never let me down. Proper handy spot for a quick, filling feed. Burritos and bowls are always fresh, packed well, and full of flavour...Great value for the money. Service is usually quick even when it’s busy, and the place has a good buzz without feeling rushed. It’s one of those spots you can rely on, whether it’s lunch or a casual dinner.
09/12/2025: Really good burritos with friendly service would recommend

Stella Cocktail Club

Dublin
25/10/2025: Old tiny place in the outdated building. Tap water from toilet. It is better to waste money on casino than visit this place.
10/10/2025: The nicest cocktails and such cool interior, really friendly staff, can’t wait to visit again

16/12/2025: I ordered from them today and one of the worst services provided through deliveroo , the portion seemed to be lower than expected and when I informed the customer executive Ramenta she was not being considerate , for the money I paid I felt it was not worth it this time , extremely saddened

The Hungry Mexican

Dublin
20/09/2025: I saw a Groupon voucher being sold for Fiesta Mexicana Restaurant, but when I tried to find the place, it seems the restaurant is no longer operating. This feels very misleading — offering deals for a business that doesn’t exist anymore is not just disappointing, it’s dishonest. People who bought vouchers are being misled, and that’s a horrible way to treat customers.
16/08/2025: The worst FAKE mexican restaurant that you can find in Dublin. They ARE NOT MEXICANS, and they DONT KNOW AT ALL HOW TO COOK MEXICAN FOOD. The local was totally dirty… the staff were unhygienic. They served the food like third world conditions. I was not even able to finish my meal… HORRIBLE. Tables were sticky… I wont come back here.

The Great Wood

Dublin
03/02/2026: On 02/02/26 at around 1pm I went with my family with toddler kids . Couldn’t order pizza as pizza machine is broken. We chose kids meal from kids menu , which was served with fruit and juice . The price was including both . the attendant girl said fruit is not available , so my husband asked anything else available instead of fruit she said no , and they won’t reduce the price . We asked if they can add something else instead of the fruit . She was so rude repeatedly kept saying it’s out of stock not available.its not my fault .and then she said to my husband she won’t serve him . My husband asked for the manager . Manager Ollie was nice but the girl , she was short ,short haired with glasses I asked the name but the manager refused to say otherwise I will mention her name . She was that rude . And in few minutes they got the fruit , so they had it . It’s that she dint know she just argued ,Which lowered the standard of weather spoon.
27/01/2026: Ordered 5 wings @€14 waited 25 minutes while othets ordered and got food after me. Disabled toilet having a refit, can't do stairs so had to go to other establishment to go. Glasses dirty. Didn't enjoy.
