The best restaurantsof mexican in Dublin

19/08/2024: Small cozy cafe a few steps from the main street. The coffee was delicious, everything looks homemade. A coffee without a lot of frills and where you can relax for a while. Prices completely ok. You sit on comfortable chairs along the wall. I found the atmosphere very relaxed and the service quick and friendly. Clear recommendation.

15/11/2024: Best margs in Dublin for sure. Always such friendly staff and absolutely delicious food. The tuna tostadas and the pig's head are unreal. Always such good fun here, great atmosphere and good music.

11/11/2024: The prices were a little high for the snack-like Mexican food and alcohol, but the portions were adequate. The only thing I liked was that they had 3 types of chili sauce.

21/11/2024: Can I start by saying I don't think iv ever given a bad review. If I have it's been that long ago, I dint remember. My husband ate there, I didn't. He said it tasted lovely which is why we are giving it 2 stars. First of all it's card payments only. My husband went to hand them 20 euro and they told him card only. He walked back to where I was sitting to get the card and the staff were clearly talking about him and looked at us as if we had 10 heads or as if cash was some foreign concept. Secondly I hope they wash they bowls properly. There was a staff member with a small bundle of the bowls and was wiping them down with a blue cloth. She didn't seem to spray anything on the bowls or cloth. I just cringed a little and was kinda glad I didn't have anything to eat.

29/10/2024: Terrible service, especially for a cocktail bar. Waitress gave us water but never bothered with menus, we had to get them ourselves. We also had to go up and order the drinks ourselves at the bar (which shocked the bartender who said it was table service). Evetually the waitress delivered our drink with barely a word, never mind an apology. For a place that prides itself on its cocktails and service this place is very lackluster.

29/10/2024: When you pay premium prices you expect premium drinks and premium service. Drinks are nice, but this place has regular issues with slow service, even on nights that are not busy. Most recently there was a delay seating us, there was a delay giving us menus (we had to get them ourselves) there was a delay ordering (we had to go to the bar ourselves) all on a pretty quiet night. The drinks eventually came, and there was not an ounce of pleasantness, never mind an apology, from the server. We would have liked a second drink, but seen as no one seemed bothered to serve us we paid the bill and left. And is not the first time we've experienced this. Certain staff simply dont care for their jobs, therefore I no longer care to spend money there.

23/10/2024: Went to Hillbillys yesterday 'Rathmines ' for the first time, ordered a dinner box for takeaway, the girl who took my order was very friendly and helpful when I asked her for particular pieces of chicken, I could see that the man doing the cooking was quick and efficient, the only way knock back was the gravy ,as a regular in older established chicken franchises, Hillbillys gravy was a disappointment, their gravy was much too thick and the taste did not reflect the wonderful taste of the chicken and flavoured coating, gravy has to be thick but it also has to be able to flow ,the consistency of this gravy was unfortunately like cement, the dinner box was excellent, staff were really pleasant, get the gravy right, consistency and more flavour and this place will be a winner, John

07/11/2024: The atmosphere is great and the food tastes amazing. The portions for most dishes are quite large, I got tacos and was a bit disappointed at the size when compared to the other dishes but it was still good quantity for price.

22/10/2024: I like to go to Zambrero Pearse Street. All the time they play good music and the employees are very nice. My usual recommendation pork bowl with black rice and basilo sauce 👍💕

21/10/2024: Way, way better than Boojum. The vegan chili is great as is the black rice, and the staff is here are such good people. Cheers @zambreroireland for being consistently great!

31/10/2024: Anyone who comments on reviews they will get this type of answer "Sorry to hear about your bad experience, we will take your comments on board and hope to see you again soon!" Or if you had any issues inside the pub like dirty table or asking why the order is coming after 45 min or cold food,wrong order. You will be invited out of the perimeter and barred Staff like Chelsea who usually she is behind the bar, and Trinity who work on floor acting as they own this place, theirs behaviour under the standard of customer needs, they need realy good training such anger management, courtesy manners,etc.and if you don't like the job just leave and let someone else who likes that job If you don't respect customers do not expect to be respected just because you had the power to say 'You don't like the food go out and find other place ' or when you are engaging to a serios discussion if you don't know how to manage call your supervisor don't say Go out from the pub you are barred And many others example that I was witness at your behaviour No doubt so many bad reviews are add on the website But in exchange No one come with some improvements in relation of cleaning, food, attitude, Guys the pub is a place where people pay for food for their drinks in order you get the salary They are expecting good manners,good service ( we don't talk about 5star) staff with smile staff who always are ready to help you, etc Update:: 25/10/2024 Arrange the customers food with the empty and dirty hands by staff

22/10/2024: The place was so beautiful , we had chicken wings , the price was so cheap , we never get 30 pieces of chicken wings at 17 euro no where in ireland. The beverages are also good , we 7 people went there had much food and had drinks , bill was only 120 euro. The staffs are really good , helpful and very noble. We loves the atmosphere very much
