28/05/2025: I have no idea what happened here tonight i am hoping just a once of but i had a pizza and it was swimming in oil, pizza had no texture and the toppings and cheese just feel off it with grease. The base was wet as the grease leaked through and made me feel sick after a few slices.

31/01/2025: Only one gripe, which isn't a reflection on the food, they just need to get some more music instead of one which is on one continuous loop
27/01/2025: It's a shame to see such a grand restaurant so empty, because the food is top draw. The only thing I didn't like about the place was the music loop! Every time I've been in they've played the same song over and over again! It's ridiculous, and the guy just thinks it's hilarious when you point it out.

24/05/2025: Love Dinkins for a Fry. Bit expensive.
20/04/2025: Only our second time to visit for their midday specials.
As we arrived late in the afternoon, there was very little left to choose from.
I ended up getting the last serving of beef bourguignon with rice or chips or both, while my wife had Chicken and Ham with mixed vegetables. Both came with a hot drink and a choice of a wide range of desserts made on premises.
All for the special price of €33-00, which was well worth paying compared to the average Dublin prices.

11/06/2025: We were part of an event held at Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan for Barry McGuigan the service by Liz and the team looking after the guests was first class as was the food. we stayed at the hotel which the team enjoyed. Highly recommend this hotel.
10/06/2025: Rooms could be upgraded. However they are very comfortable. The place is a bit dated. Some evidence of damp in the breakfast area.
The location is slightly out of town but it is an easy walk to town.
Service is good.
Some evidence when we were there of oppressive management which can be off-putting.
Staff are friendly.

10/05/2025: I ordered the Lamb Kebab and Pita. The lamb was so tender! Food is fresh and well presented from counter. The staff is very friendly and will answer questions about the dishes. Food is a plenty on a plate. While in Dublin, visit this little gem.

04/07/2025: We went for lunch a few days ago, bought food to the value of €35, I asked for an extra cup to have a cup of tea from the pot my daughter wasn't finishing,only to be informed rudely by the owner that if I got an empty cup she would charge for another tea, we were very surprised that this was a policy and also very annoyed as I am a regular customer as is my family.
Needless to say we won't be rushing back.

30/06/2025: Called in over the weekend, delighted to see Stonewell Dry and even the Stonewell Non Alcoholic on the shelves of the off-licence. I couldn't find the Stonewell Medium Dry though.
19/06/2025: Was spacious and had great products and variations of gluten free, Lactose intolerance too. Kind and nice stuff is in there.

29/06/2025: Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Ordered food waited 40 minutes plus to then see other tables in after us getting served food before us. Went to the counter to explain and all the staff standing talking to each other to then say our order was never placed. To then try and charge us for two drinks ??? VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!! Will never be back
