22/07/2025: Great place to go and have a nice and quiet dinner. The food was unreal and the staff were very welcoming. Happily recommend to others!

10/03/2026: Our favourite place to eat pre COVID . We got take aways and ate outside from a limited menu during lock down. Had a late lunch here today, Tuesday as it was fairly quiet and I had vunerable people with me. It was great to be back and the menu is back to normal. We had chilli with rice , a marinaded chicken sandwich and a perfectly sized small portion of cod and haddock in wine sauce all from the specials menu. All top quality and very tasty. Great variety of choice . Best place to break for a decent meal on the Dublin/Letterkenny route. They have an EV charge point too. Couldn't recommend it enough. Lovely atmosphere and always decorated for the season. Pumkins everywhere today.

30/11/2025: I got a pizza in Tony’s for the first time last night and I was very impressed. Fresh ingredients, cooked in a wood fire oven. The staff are friendly too, I will be back for more :)

03/01/2026: The receptionist that checked us in was clueless with regards to dinner in the bar and breakfast times. He told us that the bar accepted walk in customers and that the bar was not at all busy on Fri evening. Alas, the opposite was true and the bar was packed. We were catered for in a function room. The poor man also needs to be updated on breakfast times as his current time of 7am to 10am is incorrect. The indoor pool was quite cold considering the time of year too. It also took a while for the rooms heating to come on given the cold spell that we are currently experiencing. Finally there appeared to be no noise policy in operation as I was awoken three times by very loud guests at various hours of the early morning. On the plus side the room was very spacious for a family of four and the bathroom facilities were top notch. The staff member who served us our food was very friendly, chatty and overall very nice. He definitely deserves a raise!!

31/10/2025: Not the first time that half of my order was missing when I left. In fact almost 90% of my times going here, there is always something missing that I then have to go back in for. I was also told by the African looking manager that I should have checked my order before leaving. That is not my job to do so, and on top of that there must have been about 6 or 7 staff members looking at the same screen. How they forget anything is beyond me, as they have so many people looking at and packing the same order. Staff need more training, some people need Demoting as their manners are a disgrace and they are supposed to be the front face of the company

12/01/2026: We called into Andy’s Gin Emporium in Monaghan for a quick pre-dinner drink — and within five minutes we were wishing we’d booked in for the evening . The place is stunning inside: gorgeous décor, brilliant artwork and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We were welcomed by Shannon, who couldn’t have been nicer. She knows her stuff and made us feel right at home . My Gordon’s gin and tonic was spot on — proper glass, loads of ice, lemon, and Schweppes tonic. Simple but perfect. Then Kevin, the owner, dropped over to say hello and that’s when the magic really kicked in. He took us through the unique range of award-winning gins they produce - And it doesn’t stop at gin — he also introduced us to their own fabulous whiskey liquor which added greatly to the experience. We had a great time and bought a fabulous gift pack on leaving —a bottle of their seasonal hubarb gin liquor and a bottle of their wild Berry Gin with matching inscribed glasses - whie we didn't dine the menu was extensive and the food looked superb. All in all Andys bar and Restaurant is full of charm, character and proper Irish hospitality — with a drinks and food offering to match - A brilliant stop, and one we’ll definitely be back to. 23/11/2025: Had burgers, deep fried Brie, chicken wings that tasted reheated for the 3rd time, brownie and Bailey’s cheesecake for Desert. The burgers had no veg, just bun and the burger, dry. Worst burgers we’ve eaten. Very underwhelming, in fact disappointing. In terms of the atmosphere, at first there was no music playing, you could hear everyone’s conversation and them eating their food. I asked the waitress for music and then apparently they turned it on but it was very quiet. So I asked the guy who looked like a manager if the music could be turned up louder on this side of the restaurant, he kinda responded in an annoyed tone and the waitress girl was scared to ask him again I told her I’ll ask him myself. Anyways, the food didn’t make up for it. Also the sauce on the brownie was cold, makes no sense. We didn’t get a menu for like 10-20 minutes. Won’t be back

25/06/2025: Was visiting Monaghan and randomly dropped in here. We had coffee and two fallafle wraps. The wraps were amazing and very flavoursome, whoever is in the kitchen knows what they are doing. Service was also great

06/01/2026: We were the only 2 customers on a Tuesday night in January. They waited for us, they served us and let us eat without rushing or wanting to get us out quickly (like it happened in other places). Food was amazing, we ordered 4/5 dishes each and everything was excellent! Very big portions, we couldn’t finish and we had to take away the excess, that was packed very kindly. Very delighted and will definitely go back! 😀

01/01/2026: The food is adapted to European tastes. Overall, it's good. I'd like to see more of India.

25/10/2025: Served uncooked food, with no cutlery, napkins or sauces. We had to go up to ask for it to be cooked as no one was walking around to help people out. Drinks were served long after the food was.

11/10/2025: Very good enjoy good food liked their coffee ☕️

19/10/2025: We only had coffee/tea and a scone. All very nice and friendly. Alle the salads in the vitrine looked so fresh but we sadly had to move on before trying and tasting them all. We will be back.

16/07/2025: A lovely little spot that my partner and I visited for breakfast. It was quiet and the staff were quick to serve us. The breakfast menu has a nice collection of breakfast stables with something for everyone. We each had a Pancake Stack. Mine with Berries, Compote, Greek Yogurt and Honey. My partner's with Bacon, Maple Syrup and Pecans. The Coffee was good and fresh. Would definitely recommend this spot and we will certainly be back again.

03/10/2025: It's just a cafe at the bus station. Nothing special. The food is just snacks, the coffee is just coffee. But it's good when it's raining and cool outside, you can sit on wooden (not metal benches like on the street) chairs and wait for your bus with a cup (paper cup) of coffee.

29/10/2025: A very nice little café with a super delicious menu, also suitable for children. Very child-friendly.

16/10/2025: This is a amazing place to go! Every time I go here I always leave happy. This is a great place to go for a nice brunch. All I say is don’t take a big group of people because they wouldn’t have room to fit everyone but other then that 10/10 place!! I definitely recommend to everyone! 😁
