24/12/2024: Went to The Bookshelf in the Elysian on Christmas Eve. Hadnt been in a while unfortunately but my it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful breakfast, coffee and the staff are excellent. There’s plenty staff on so you aren’t wanting for anything. Portion sizes are big and the food is quality. Highly recommend for brunch in Cork City. Thanks guys

13/01/2025: Birthday night out. The restaurant and ambience are lovely but the food and service are lacking. After taking our orders for food and wine, we didn't see iir server again, it was as if the staff all left at 9.30 pr else they avoided our table because there was an hour gap between our starters and main course. The food was good but not up to it's price point by a long distance..it's nice pub food not fine dining as it is priced. Our waitress calculated and scoffed at our tip beside us, but the service and food were a huge disappointment on what was a special occasion, so we gave what we felt was a fair tip for that. I wouldn't recommend
