20/07/2025: Absolutely love this place. Not only is the food amazing but its a very chilled place to enjoy a pint. Atmosphere is lovely with great music on in the background throughout the day! Rain or sunshine Ill go back again and again!

21/07/2025: I cannot recommend this place enough. We visited on a Thursday for one of their jazz/blues nights and it was lovely. Food was amazing, the band were so sweet and the cocktails were incredible! I’d really like to shine a light on every single one of our servers who each were so friendly and made us feel welcomed. Definitely coming back!

07/07/2025: Staff - mostly friendly with one exception. Visited here on Thursday evening - the place pecks itself as dog friendly - but doesn’t like it if you bring your dog along. We held the dog outside and went in to ask for a seat and were met by a very abrupt lady (short, heavy set, blond hair, mid 50s) who told us if the food outside is open you can sit there - there were already people seated there -so we went to take an unoccupied table and she came out in a huff loudly announcing - you can’t sit there and asked us to move to the main entrance side seating and then changed her mind and walked us back. No apologies, no regard for my elderly parents - just downright rude and unprofessional - for no reason at all. I went back later to ask if I could plug in my laptop for a while and was met by the same ill mannered woman - who said all the sockets were in use - in my 25yrs of living in Ireland - this woman defo has won the First Prize for the worst service and attitude I’ve encountered. Food - we ordered sharing wings to start - they were tasty and enough for three people. Two of us ordered the chicken supreme - chicken was undercooked and side of veg was boiled for so long that the vegetables were full of water and had zero flavour. Fish and chips were good as was the pea puree. They did not have any juices except OJ. But the staff who served us were pleasant and attentive, so we left them a decent tip and agreed never to return.

22/06/2025: After moving to the area we finally got to visit and we wasn’t disappointed. It’s great that you can have a drink in the bar area and have a look at the menu before moving through to the restaurant. All our dishes were fantastic and they have a great wine selection. This is the sort of place you could enjoy a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine or a bowl of mussels with a pint of lager. Many more visits to follow hopefully!

27/04/2025: Finders Inn, Nohoval is warm, cosy, full of character and charm. The food is top class - always - with plenty to choose from. My favourites the hors d'oeuvre or Seafood in Filo pastry to start followed by Cassoulet of Seafood or Rack of Lamb for mains (I find it very difficult to choose!) Delicious sides (included in price) potato gratin, roasted vegetables and chips add to make this a 10/10 meal on flavour every time. We LOVE coming to Finders for a night out. It’s the best restaurant as far as I’m concerned.

01/06/2025: We came on a Saturday night: no reservations and other restaurants non-accommodating. Though they were full, they were still able to get us in. We had steamed mussels, the burger, a steak and halibut bites - all delicious!! Chips were the best we had in days (when in Ireland, we do get picky about our chips). Also had a Baby Guinness and an Irish Coffee! Bartender was spot-on! Great find and we would go back again.

08/06/2025: Had the classic. Great home made sausage with just the right spices. Roll held together till the end. Onions and peppers were tender and fresh.

04/06/2025: Contained in the huge English Market SC ,this place stands out from all the other exceptional vendors. Just a small stall with usually only 3 workers, it can turn out food to die for. All sandwiches are make rite on the spot. You can customize or order any of the house specials. Grab a special, find a quiet spot, (not possible) and enjoy.

16/03/2025: Overnight stay while visiting the distillery which is a short walk into town. The bar and room were super clean and the furnishings upstairs made me feel like I was back at my Granny's house, which is good!

20/06/2025: Classy looking joint, really nice inside. Cocktails were nice, coffee was good. Fine big smoking area. Live music. Didn't try food, pints were OK. Bit pricy in here but OK vibe. Unusual crowd in here with some people clearly very drunk (it was early hahaha) Pub, drunk people? Who knew. Other than that, it's a place I would go back to.

25/06/2025: Great place to stop on the way to killarney or cork food is excellent here staff are very friendly and helpful

26/05/2025: Good for EV Charging. Aaron is often the case, not enough spaces for all the chargers to be actually used at the same time, but I had no issue.

30/04/2025: Hemos estado yendo regularmente a bakestone durante años mientras trabajamos juntos, pero los recientes recortes son la gota que colma el vaso. La sopa de cerdo ahora viene como una hamburguesa puré y la sopa estaba medio llena. Fue horrible no volver

12/10/2024: We had the most amazing time! We were with a group of twelve and were treated to a spectacular day. Kathleen the proprietor was a delight. She showed many in our group how to pour a proper pint and fixed us the most lovely lunch. She was very kind and accommodating, this was definitely the highlight of our trip.

10/10/2024: Very nice place to start/finish your trip to Whiddy Island. Thanks to Tim and Kathleen we had a beautiful day there. Hope to be back soon!

10/05/2025: We had a delicious steak sandwich, we had a few drinks after in the sunny beer garden. Food was outstanding and the drinks were served by very friendly bar staff. Highly recommend. Music was outstanding and we stayed for a lot longer than we planned
