It can only be fresh in Ballycotton for sure!!!!
Newly created outdoors area is a real bonus. Plenty of seating and tables for family or small groups meeting up. Parking a short distance away on street! Beautiful walk to the pier and back, to create an appetite is a very good idea too. Usually music in the Bar.

17/11/2025: Very good range of drinks, and lovely atmosphere! The drinks are also very good value for money. The truffle bites were delicious, would definitely recommend. The chicken sandwich was dry and bland so wouldn’t recommend this. Server Adrian displayed fantastic customer service! Would go here again.

16/11/2025: Our stay absolutely exceeded expectations. We got a very reasonable rate and I had set my expectations according to that.
The room was spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Our dinner was fabulous and again, very reasonable. The breakfast was lovely and had everything you could need.
I couldn’t think of one thing they could improve on.
15/11/2025: My stay at the Talbot Hotel Midleton was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, especially by Andrea Kadović at reception, whose friendly attitude and efficiency made a wonderful first impression. The bar and restaurant teams were equally outstanding, offering excellent service and creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay.
Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and I would highly recommend the Talbot Hotel Midleton to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable stay.

20/10/2025: Number one on this side: good food, clean shower, free parking, and quiet. If you happen to stay on the weekend, you can reach the center in 10 minutes, everything is very nice.
04/10/2025: Handy services with reasonable selection of snacks, coffee, good shop. Fuel, car wash and good parking. And a few ESB eCars fast chargers too

22/06/2025: After moving to the area we finally got to visit and we wasn’t disappointed.
It’s great that you can have a drink in the bar area and have a look at the menu before moving through to the restaurant.
All our dishes were fantastic and they have a great wine selection.
This is the sort of place you could enjoy a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine or a bowl of mussels with a pint of lager.
Many more visits to follow hopefully!
27/04/2025: Finders Inn, Nohoval is warm, cosy, full of character and charm. The food is top class - always - with plenty to choose from. My favourites the hors d'oeuvre or Seafood in Filo pastry to start followed by Cassoulet of Seafood or Rack of Lamb for mains (I find it very difficult to choose!)
Delicious sides (included in price) potato gratin, roasted vegetables and chips add to make this a 10/10 meal on flavour every time. We LOVE coming to Finders for a night out. It’s the best restaurant as far as I’m concerned.

01/11/2025: Firstly, a huge thank you to Brendan. My return from last year for 3 wonderful nights and plan to return next year. Supremely clean and comfortable rooms. A cozy traditional pub lies below rooms. A few minute walk into Midelton town centre. A 3 minute walk to train station which will have you into Cork City Centre in 22 minutes. Thanks to a terrific staff and the friendly locals who frequent this gem of a pub.
19/09/2025: What a place, super clean bed & breakfast with a friendly well run bar downstairs. Brendan the owner is a super nice guy. We had some great chats. The breakfast was very generous, lots of local produce on the menu, rashers & sausages etc. The bar stocks Blacks Beer & the best selection of Stonewell Ciders I've seen in a bar that size. Also the obligatory locally produced Midleton Whiskey

04/06/2025: Contained in the huge English Market SC ,this place stands out from all the other exceptional vendors. Just a small stall with usually only 3 workers, it can turn out food to die for. All sandwiches are make rite on the spot. You can customize or order any of the house specials. Grab a special, find a quiet spot, (not possible) and enjoy.

Not a casual place, need to wear your best blouse or polo. With that it can be more expensive side for Midleton.

07/09/2025: The lobby on entering the hotel was fabulous. But as soon as we got to our room that’s where it ended. Bathroom was not clean, Stains around the bin on the floor, problem with the hose for the shower, kept popping off the shower head, silicone around shower base has mould on it. At €277 a night I thought we would have a mini fridge or cooler in the room but we didn’t.
07/09/2025: Bring your own pillows and tvs are cheap with only a few channels but location is great and breakfast is good although coffee wasn’t so good
