14/05/2026: Usually it’s our favourite place for morning coffee and toasted food. And staff are always great. But today service by man with moustache Deni (I’m not sure how it was spelled) didn’t say a word to us didn’t add the name and just left our food on the counter quietly didn’t even said what order is that, and also food was cold not toasted as asked.
It’s my first negative experience here first time in 5 years of visiting this place.
15/03/2026: I’ve been a regular customer for a long time, but this is honestly the worst hot chocolate I’ve received from Starbucks. The cup looked messy and the drink presentation was very poor. This is not the standard I expect.

14/04/2026: Popped in for a Guinness when in Galway centre and wasn’t disappointed.
The atmosphere gives old sailor vibes, dark but full of atmosphere.
Highly recommend stopping here.
We attended on a Monday at around 6pm and was quite and easy going

26/11/2023: We visited this place for breakfast because it had raving reviews online, but sadly just wasn't our experience. Revive Cafe appears to have been recently renovated and under new ownership. The pictures online do not correspond with the items on the menu. In fact, while we were waiting, another patron walked in with a picture of what he wanted and the employees explained that the item was no longer on the menu, as everything had recently changed. So, we gathered that the reviews and pictures of the food appear to have been made while under the previous owners.
Since we were already there, we decided to stay and order from their limited menu. We ordered lattes and pancakes - nutella pancakes and traditional ones. The coffees were so strong that even two packs of sugar couldn't do away with the bitterness. The pancakes had a stretchy, gummy-like texture. I could not finish my "traditional" pancakes.
At check out, the staff asked whether everything was okay. We said "no" and, even though she looked at my plate virtually untouched, she just gave a little giggle and said "oh okay."
Overall, It was a poor experience with the food and certainly with the customer service. We were not expecting nor did we want anything to "make up for it," but she could have asked at least asked for the feedback since we were not the only table there that left most/all of their food.
The place is nicely decorated and has a nice cafe atmosphere. So, in that regard and in that regard only, I give them a five-star rating.

05/02/2025: Este fue el mejor lugar para un delicioso capuchino, una vista increíble y el pastel de cereza de almendra más celestial.
La mejor parte fue el servicio - Pablo fue más allá para asegurar que disfrutamos de nuestra estancia e incluso dio recomendaciones para asegurar que disfrutamos de los mejores lugares de la ciudad. Gracias Corrib house! ¡Volveremos!

03/06/2026: €21.50 for a chicken burger straight out of the freezer
15/05/2026: Very disappointed. We waited a long time for our order to be taken, and then to be served. They'd forgotten about us. We ordered a Guinness, but were served a Guinness Zero, and the waiter insisted it wasn't Zero, but the taste was nothing like it.
What a shame.
