01/02/2025: My favorite cafe in Dublin! It's lovely in all aspects. Not pretentious, not "posh", not artificial. Just amazing panino and cakes served by an Italian couple.

The Strand Hotel Bray

13/02/2025: DO NOT STAY HERE if you value your money. I booked directly with this hotel as to give the money directly to the hotel rather than give part to a booking site. Not only did they charge me a 200 pound deposit, but did so 4 times. I was also charged twice for my hotel rooms. On asking the hotel clerk, he tried to tell me that didn’t happen. I tried showing him on my bank card, he said “it is your bank”. I am out over $500. The rooms were not the cleanest but after seeing the charges I was awake all night anyway. I have made a formal inquest with the Ireland travel board. And my credit card company. Stay away if you value your money.

03/02/2025: We stayed here for 4 nights and honestly can’t recommend this hotel enough. All the staff are so lovely and helpful they can’t do enough for you. It’s very clean and the food is delicious also! Can’t wait to come back, Thank you all
27/01/2025: Room is really clean and spacious double bed is huge and super comfortable mattress. Staff are so friendly and the food is lovely cooked fresh to order so u wait a little bit longer but it's worth it we had tempura chicken which was lovely and the homemade curry and the smokey bacon burger couldn't fault anything very nice and reasonably priced breakfast was lovely

21/05/2024: Hard to believe that the place is so busy at 3 pm on a Tuesday afternoon that NO-ONE can answer the phone....
The 'service' aspect is missing from so many services right now that it's comical. Prices are sky high everywhere - you would think staff are trained sufficiently to cover the basics.

13/01/2025: We stayed in the private hot tub room with the sea view. Our experience from start to finish was incredible. The manager and her team were so accommodating and hospitable.
The room was spotless and spacious. The hot tub was gorgeous and looking out to the sea was beautiful.
They do not offer room service but were very helpful in allowing us to order and bring food to the room. We had the meat and cheese board which was stunning. It was excellent value for the quality and quanity of food that we had. Extremely well presented and fresh ingredients.
I could not fault anything about our experience with the accommodation, food or customer service.
You have to bear in mind the rooms are over a gastro pub along the main strip in Bray, therefore there is going to be music and people creating noise, however we did not find this an issue.
04/01/2025: The food was lovely but the prices were so expensive when we said we wanted happy birthday yous didn't do it and you said yous would sing happy birthday and yous didn't come out with a candle on the cake
