07/08/2025: I visited Caffè Letterario in Bray today for the second time, and it just confirmed what a gem this place is. It’s rare to find a café like this in Ireland. The atmosphere is warm and cosy, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a quiet moment. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I had one of their panini, and it was delicious, fresh and full of flavour.
If you want an espresso like in Italy, this is the place. An amazing spot. I highly recommend it.

13/09/2025: This restaurant is a real hidden gem! The focaccia was fantastic, and the meaty lasagna and the desserts were equally delicious. You could really taste the high quality of the ingredients used – it's clear that the owner cares deeply about maintaining a high standard.
The staff and owner were also very friendly. We will certainly be back.
03/08/2025: Went in to use the bathroom here during the bray air festival as the public toilets had a 30 minute line. Just to get screamed at by both the Italian male and female owners at the top of their lungs in front of the whole busy cafe, I’m 7 months pregnant and he shouted at the top of his lungs at me “shame on you for using your pregnancy as an EXCUSE” over and over. Such a horrible attitude, left me shook leaving.
Please don’t support this place with such a degrading attitude towards pregnant women. For the uneducated owner:
1. Pregnancy isn’t an ‘excuse’ to use the toilet when in need
2. You should never scream in the face of a pregnant woman it’s very stressful for her and baby to handle

25/07/2025: Absolute dump. Room was the size of a postage stamp that smelled of Indian food and the toilet / shower was so small that you couldn't turn around in.
The carpet was sticky and I wouldn't walk barefoot on it for fear of catching something.
It's a dump, stay clear.

12/08/2025: Good staff, breakfast buffet the best thing about this hotel. Be careful in the bathroom the bathtub is very slippery, i fell and i have a bruise.

20/07/2025: I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at your store. I ordered a Caramel Macchiato with soy or almond milk due to my lactose intolerance, and clearly communicated this to the staff. Unfortunately, the drink was made with regular dairy milk. Within minutes, I began to feel unwell, and I had stomach pain and discomfort for the rest of the day.
This isn’t a casual request it’s a medical need. I trusted that your team would respect my dietary restriction, and it’s upsetting that this basic expectation wasn’t met. Please take this seriously and ensure your staff are properly trained to listen to and accurately fulfill special dietary instructions. Mistakes like this can have serious consequences for your customers.
The first happened in Dun Laoghaire branch the second incident occurred in Bray. Please Starbucks people listen to your customers and be honest.

04/08/2025: This place is nice, and the food and coffee are great. However, the only thing that really lets it down is the customer service.
It felt like the staff assumed that because the shop is busy, they don't need to be polite or accommodating. While I was sitting and enjoying my coffee, I was repeatedly asked if I was finished and if they could take the cutlery. Even after I had finished and handed over my cup, I sat for a few more minutes — only to be questioned by the staff about whether I had even ordered anything. Apparently, the manager saw me sitting without a coffee on the camera and sent someone over to ask for my receipt.
The food and coffee here are amazing, but the customer service is honestly the worst I’ve ever experienced.

El servicio puede mejorar y la organización también.
No dejaron subir a mi mujer a la terraza de la planta superior hasta que no tenemos la consumición en la mano, y tuvimos que hacernos una hora de cola, porque en Bray había un evento de las Fuerzas Aéreas. No tiene sentido porque arriba hay gente que no está consumiendo nada desde que nos sentamos.
Precio-calidad-organización, si cabe mejorable.

01/05/2025: Use to be one of my favourite restaurants in Bray.Came for lunch with my family from abroad on my son's confirmation day,couldn't be more disappointed and angry on the service!waited 20 mins to be asked for drink order,when tried to order a simple salad with grilled chicken the chef refused to make it even they had all the ingredients,as I'm on special diet because of my health conditions I was left without food.I asked the other waitress if she can aske the chef again she totally ignored me and walked away from the table.Won't ever come back here!
01/05/2025: The food was very good and there was a good selection on the menu. The beautiful sunshine meant that we didn't go inside but the terrace was very comfortable
