01/08/2025: This place is top-notch quality. Booking is recommended. We went early without a reservation and ordered the seafood linguine and some tapas from the daily special. Spectacular.
29/07/2025: The food was divine, we had the seafood linguini and lamb ragu, both dishes were delicious and the perfect portion size. It’s not a stretch of the imagination to say there is no bad dish on the menu.
The service is super, the host and waitstaff was friendly, fast and attentive (as well as a hilarious character). Our food was prepared and served nice and efficiently (fast but not too fast).
Overall, it’s a phenomenal restaurant that you have to dine at if you’re in Kenmare. Would go again anytime we’re here

08/08/2025: I was a bit disappointed. I really wanted to love the fish and chips there as it was supposed to be the best in Ireland, but the batter wasn't exceptional and not crispy at all. They were also out of smoked haddock and other types of fish.
It was still an excellent and fresh fish, hence the four stars.
05/08/2025: Nice little fish shop, a classic fish shop. The fish was fantastic, but the chips could have been a bit crispier for our taste. The tartar sauce was delicious, and the young employee was very friendly.

01/08/2025: Food , wine ,staff , and scenery - All amazing- felt really welcome here .Staff so friendly . Prawns and chowder were excellent. Can’t fault it . Loved the dining domes outside too - will definitely be back .
05/06/2025: Disappointed. There was a wait between receiving the main and the side dish. The Monkfish was lovely, however the vegetables were Ratatouille, which was a surprise, the potatoes were reheated and overly seasoned with salt, they should have been freshly cooked. They offered to replace the vegetables, but I just wanted to finish the meal and leave.

12/08/2025: Room with classic decor, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Old-fashioned bathroom, rusty shower curtain holder, damaged tiles, toilet lid that comes off...not worthy of the price
07/08/2025: Okay, but not great. The ventilation from downstairs could be heard until late in the evening.

17/08/2025: Great! Nice food, nice restaurant and great scenery! Nice waitors and you get great service. The tempo was a bit too quick between starter and main.
17/08/2025: Third time here. Absolutely gorgeous lunch. Tried the potted crab as a starter between two. I had scampi and fries for main and hubby had the fish and chips. My absolute No. 1. Won't be beaten.

23/07/2025: really enjoyed fish and chips and crab roll. Been here many times. Why oh why do they not provide disposable table cloths our " table " had bird poo on it. This is only complaint.
15/07/2025: I ordered the gluten free fish and chips. The chips were lovely but the fish had an unusual metallic taste, the portion size was excellent with plenty of fish but it wasn’t as good as it could be. As a coeliac I don’t get to eat fish and chip all that often so I was alittle disappointed.
