11/11/2024: Beautifully presented, delicious food. Service was impeccable. Two courses for four people, beer and a bottle of wine for less than 200 euro. Also a surprise birthday desert pour moisture! Lovely Manager. Highly recommend.

11/11/2024: Had the meaty hash , absolutely delicious ! Pancakes looked gorgeous but I was a little disappointed because for my liking anyway I thought they were a little dry. I did give them a good go all the same . Every one else with me couldn't fault the food , we all recommend highly 👌

The Barony Restaurant at the Talbot Hotel

09/12/2024: I recently stayed in the Talbot Hotel with a group of friends. We had a wonderful time from start to finish. The hotel is welcoming and has a luxurious feel about it and in a great location in the centre of town. Good value.
The food is delicious. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
I would definitely recommend a stay in The Talbot.
08/11/2024: Lovely spot and great atmosphere. We arrived and were able to get a table (2 adults and 2 kids) without much of a problem even though it appeared slightly busy when we got there. There was a mix up with starters/mains as they were brought out together (after a bit of a delay) but rather than sending anything back we just took everything at that stage. Couldn't fault the quality of food and it was really nice.

06/12/2024: We liked this place. The food wasn't incredible but the service and atmosphere definitely made up for it. After a terrible service experience earlier in the day, it was refreshing to experience such attentive service.
19/10/2024: Slightly upscale pub experience. Service was great. Had the fish and chips which was generous portions and cooked well.
